Even though they have are 29th in ERA this Texas team is somehow 3-2 heading into Wednesday action. I am not seeing them as a contender at all but maybe they are not as bad as the Orioles. They are getting good production from Asdrubal Cabrera – 3 homers so far.

Edinson Volquez is back in Texas and they are hoping he can eat some innings. His first start of the season showed that is going to be somewhat of a challenge. He is too easy to hit and walks too many. The bullpen is not going to back him up much either.
Los Angeles Angels
The Angels are off to a bad start. The offense has been anemic and we knew coming into the season this was not going to be a great pitching team. Missing Justin Upton is not helping matters but even without him they shoudl be able to score three runs per game.

It is still way early but you could say that Matt Harvey has been a bright spot for this team. He looked decent in his first start which is a step up from what we might have reasonably expected. The stuff is not quite there but maybe he has learned a thing or two.
