Tampa is off to a great start thanks mainly to pitching. Blake Snell has been amazing the rest of the staff is doing their best to follow his lead. Offensively they are looking for more throughout the lineup but at least Austin Meadows, a late blooming prospect, is off to a good start.

Tyler Glasnow really looked good after coming over from the Pirates with Meadows. He carried that into 2010 with one run allowed in his first start. He only yielded one walk and the Rays will keep him short if it means his confidence stays up.
San Francisco Giants
I am not sure the Giants are tanking, they are just not very good and the acquisition of Kevin Pillar to make acrobatic catches in CF is only going to help so much. They can pitch a little but this team really can’t hit. That is not likely to change.

Dereck Rodriguez’ first start of 2019 looked a lot like his rookie season, good but not great. I am not a huge fan of the TB lineup, which has been sluggish so maybe he gets enough support for the win here. I would’t say it can’t happen.
