Tampa Bay Rays

The Rays did one of their maybe we aren’t so bad moments a few weeks back but that moment seems to have faded. This is being written on Tuesday before the results of the game Tuesday night. As such it is easy to write that the Astros are flying high, on a long winning streak and looking poised to repeat as champs. They can beat you every which way and we have seen that over the course of the streak. Looks like more to come too.

Charlie Morton might have cooled a little after an electric start but he is still pitching better than he ever has before. He has been especially sharp at home and pitches with confidence knowing that the Astros lineup and defense will support him even if he gives up a few runs.
