After five consecutive losses, Seattle won its second game in a row on Monday, besting the Texas Rangers, 4–3 in ten innings. Ryon Healy drove in the winning run with an RBI single.
King Felix Hernandez goes against Bartolo Colon on Tuesday and Seattle will finish by sending Marco Gonzales to the mound for the finale in this one.

Gonzales has arguably been Seattle’s best starter. Mike Leake has thrown the most innings and James Paxton leads the staff in WAR, WHIP and strikeout numbers but Gonzales has the best ERA+, albeit by just one point over Paxton.
