Seattle is still figuring out who to go with as the starter in Wednesday’s game two of their series with Texas. One would think that might sway the edge towards the Rangers, especially because Seattle has been so bad on the road (9-30 their last 39).

Texas Rangers
Getting home off a long road trip was supposed to give Texas an edge in this series, especially against a team as bad going away as the Mariners have been. The Rangers went just 3-7 on their recent road stretch, but things didn’t get any better at home in Tuesday’s series opening loss.
Texas has gone 31-21 at Globe Life Park this year and they did bang out enough hits (14) to win the series opener vs. Seattle. Seattle isn’t the only team with question marks heading into this game. Mike Minor is the tentative starter for Texas in this one but his start was pushed back so it’s after the trade deadline. If Minor is still with the Rangers, he’ll try to improve on 4ER allowed in three straight outings.
