Cleveland Indians
Corey Kluber broke his forearm in his start this week against the Marlins when Brian Anderson lined a ball off him at 102 miles per hour.
It is one of the two bones in Kluber’s throwing arm but was not displaced, which means it should heal on its own. It won’t be a speedy recovery, though.

Kluber will probably take at least six weeks for the bone to heal and then at least another six to work his strength back up. He’s in a cast, which means his elbow and shoulder will get very little use over the next month-plus. That timetable won’t have him back until August.
It has potential to work out well for Cleveland, which could save its ace lots of innings and still have him back and healthy before the playoffs, if the Indians are so fortunate. The Twins just swept the Astros and are rolling at 19–10, three games up on the Tribe.
