He’s already made three starts while most other starters around the league have only made one because he started in Japan and then back again at the start of play in the States. Reynaldo Lopez posted an above-average ERA in 188 innings as a 24-year-old a season ago. Expectations are high for him heading into 2019 but he didn’t throw well in his first start of the season, March 30 in Kansas City.
