The Giants are trying to stay alive in the NL West but I am not giving them much of a chance. Healthy the pitching might be good enough but bets on Andrew McCutcheon and Evan Longoria have not paid off, nor look likely to at this stage.

I think this start goes to either Derek Holland or Andrew Suarez. Suarez has the better numbers, I guess while Holland leads the team in innings at this point. The Giants have really struggled to keep their arms healthy. Neither has pitched since the break.
Seattle Mariners
Seattle is in the hunt but still a few weeks until they get Robinson Cano back. Not sure if they will make a move or note, really it is their pitching that could use the biggest bump. Cano will help a lineup that is only 21st in runs but pitching will decide how far this team really goes.

Mike Leake is doing Mike Leake things. Pitching to contact, giving up hits but getting out of trouble enough to have a winning record. At home he has been a little less lucky it seems but taking on the Giants is not a bad matchup for him.
