Matt Strahm is being used exclusively as a starter this season and the results have been pretty good. Since a blow up in his first start of the season he has not given up more than 2 ER in any other game. He has also been better on the road and is backed up by a strong bullpen featuring Kirby Yates as the most dominant closer in the game.
New York Yankees
The Yankees have been playing great but come into this one off a loss – KC nipped them on Sunday. The lineup is not expecting anyone back this week but scoring has not been a problem for this team. Gary Sanchez has hit well now that they really need him to. Perhaps that is a makeup thing and others have come through all season long.

Domingo German was finally tagged for a loss in Sunday and has usually been followed up by C.C. Sabathia. With Sabathia hitting the injured list after his last start they have a gap in the rotation. Chad Green could be used in an opener role, he has filled that twice recently. If so that somewhat limits one of the better bullpens in the Majors.
