The Brewers are going to be in a fight in the NL Central all season long so losing to Miami could come back to haunt them. They got spanked in the opener but this team is still one of the better hitting teams around and even Smith is going to have a tough time navigating their lineup on the road. They need to bring their team batting average up and be a little less dependent on going yard.

Milwaukee got Jimmy Nelson his first start in a long time yesterday and how that goes will impact this one. This would have been Jhoulys Chacin’s turn but he is out indefinitely.
