Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers struck early and often to back Walker Buehler in Friday’s 6–2 victory.
Buehler turned in the best start on either side of the series thus far with six innings of three-hit, one-run baseball. He struck out ten and walked just one. He’ll be ready for a potential Game 7.
The Dodgers, however, are vying to end this one sooner than that. They will send Julio Urias to the mound on Saturday night with the opportunity tot take a commanding 3–1 series lead.
Urias last threw in Game 7 of the NLCS, when he retired the last nine batters of the game on three days of rest. He will start this game on five full days of rest after throwing thirty-nine pitches in that last outing.
In his lone start of the postseason, Urias gave up one run in five innings against the Braves. That’s the only run he has yielded at all.
In eleven innings of relief, he’s given up six hits, one walk and no runs. One run in sixteen total innings is an ERA of 0.56.
Tampa Bay Rays
So the Rays have their work cut out for them in what is the next-closest thing to a must-win game.
After hitting two home runs in a Game 2 victory, Brandon Lowe went hitless in Game 4 with three strikeouts.
Randy Arozarena had been just 1-for-9 before he hit his first home run of the series — a solo shot in the ninth last night.
So with the offense flat and Urias not, the Rays may have to win a pitcher’s duel tonight if they’re to even the series.
Ryan Yarbrough threw nineteen pitches out of the bullpen in Game 1 and gave up two hits before giving way to some of the less important arms in the bullpen. It was an opportunity for him to get work in and try to keep Tampa Bay in the game.
Prior to that, Yarbrough’s most recent appearance came in his Game 3 start against the Astros. He threw eighty-two pitches in five good innings in that start.
All four of the runs Yarbrough has given up in the postseason (10.2 innings), have come on three different long balls.

Free Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Tampa Bay Rays MLB Prediction: under.
All three games in the series have gone over but I’m not sure this total should be all the way at eight.
With Urias dominating and the Rays struggling to find offensive production, Yarbrough will have to be at his best.
Look for him to be sharp and Tampa Bay to make things interesting in a low-scoring game.
