Ryu has been his usual dominant self as of late, shutting out opponents in 5 of his last 6 starts. He’s also pitched into the 7th in all but one of those outings. Angels batters are a measly 3-26 vs. Ryu (.115) combined.

The Dodgers have won 4 of 6 on their current “road” trip that includes a visit to Arizona (370 miles), San Francisco (380 miles), and Anaheim (26 miles). Traveling team tee ball teams put on more miles than that in a weekend tournament.
Los Angeles Angels
Runs are probably going to be few and far between, at least for the Angels, which makes Monday’s O/U of 9 look like a very high total. The Angels have been held to 3 runs or less in 4 of the last 7 but then again do have a 10 run and a 12 run burst of production in that span.
Mike Trout is 0-7 in his career vs. Ryu and Albert Pujols has gone just 1-9 vs. the lefty. Only 5 Angels batters have ever faced the Dodgers starter which definitely gives the pitcher an edge in this case.
