Houston Astros
The Astros are clearly showing the rest of the league that they mean business. They do not even have a fully healthy lineup, yet they continue to crush their competition. They also are a clear favorite to win the AL West and I do not see them losing the division. Yes, it is June, but they are that good and will continue to run away with the West.
Justin Verlander will take the mound for Houston in the series finale. Verlander of course is 9-2 on the season. His earned run average is 2.27. In his past three starts alone, he is 2-1 with a 1.96 ERA. To go along with their great starter, the Houston bullpen has been lights out. They have an earned run average of 2.85 this season. If the Houston bats can provide just a few runs, Verlander and the pen will take care of the rest.

The Houston offense is crushing baseballs right now. They average 5.23 runs per game, which is 7th in the MLB. Their team batting average is .272, which is 2nd in the league. They are also 4th in home runs, with a total of 100 so far. The Astros will once again score several runs, making it hard for the struggling Mariners to respond.
Seattle Mariners
The Mariners have been absolutely terrible as of late. This is weird because they start so hot and the really have just fallen apart in a month or so. They really need the win in the series finale to gain some kind of confidence.

Tommy Milone will take the mound for the Mariners in this matchup. Milone has not been terrible, but he has not been great either. He has a 1-1 record this season with a 3.60 ERA. Another huge problem for Seattle has been their bullpen. Over their last three games, they have had a 6.60 ERA. I do not trust the Seattle bullpen to help if Milone starts to struggle.
The Seattle offense has really fallen off, yet they are 2nd in the league with 109 home-runs. This may be the only real way they can score against Verlander, but I do not see this happening much.
