Houston Astros

Martin was very promising after one start but since them has not pitched five innings in three opportunities. I am still amazed at how quick and complete the Mariners fall has been. Now they are in rumours to be making the first notable deal of the seson if their trade of Jay Bruc comes to fruition. They are in last place despite being second in homers and scoring more than 5 runs per game.

That is because the pitching has fallen into a chasm. Wade LeBlanc was serviceable last season but this year he has been terrible. Oddly, especially at home where his ERA is almost 9. Taking on one of the best teams in the league is a tall oorder right now.
