Blaine Hardy is finally getting a chance to start this season and having some success. He has been back and forth in the rotation but now seems poised to get some run. His last two outings, against good teams – Cleveland and Oakland – have been really good, 1 ER over 12 innings.
Los Angeles Angels
The Angels season started so promisingly but injuries really derailed it. Now even the mighty Mike Trout is out, which affects his MVP pursuit as well as any reason to really keep track of this team that is under .500 and fading from relevance.

He is not Shohei Otani but Jaime Barria is having a nice foundational rookie season. He is not getting deep into to games but has proven to be pretty steady, giving up just a few runs and keeping his team in the ballgame. Would love to see a little more swing and miss though.
