I feel like I have written this for the last couple of weeks but this is a series that could possibly make the Rox relevant again. They are on the road but taking on a fellow last place team that is struggling. If they right the ship with a sweep maybe that propels them to bigger things. They are going to have to do it with the offense which is no problem in Cincinnati.

No starter listed yet for this one. I think the math says German Marquez who is their highest potential starter even if he does not always reach it. He was really good in his last start against the Yankees but Colorado is just 6-5 in his road starts this season. Colorado has not been a good road team this season though, 10 games under .500.
Cincinnati Reds
The Reds are off Thursday but even though they are coming off a loss they won their series against Milwaukee to start the week. In the two wins they scored 20 runs which is more like what I thought they would do throughout the season. They are hoping for a couple of key bats, Nick Senzel and Derek Dietrich, to be in the lineup for this one.

Luis Castillo has been really good this season and especially so at home where his ERA is under 2. He is always going to be a high walks guy but his stuff is so good that he can get Ks when he needs them and he has reduced his home run rate this season. Cincinnati has won his last three starts and he does not appear to be fading.
