Chicago White Sox
The White Sox are in a full fledged youth movement but they held onto Jose Abreu to give them an anchor. The strategy is sound but he is having his worst season in the majors thus far, looking unlikely to break 30 homer or 100 RBI – he has got one or the other every season thus far. This team is struggling for offense too.

Lucas Giolito is a mystery. It is not a surprise that he walks a lot of guys but with his stuff the strikeouts should be there too – they aren’t. He has really been getting shelled at home so if you are looking for an angle on him for this one that could be it.
Tampa Bay Rays
The Rays seem a long shot to really make a push for the playoffs but that doesn’t mean they aren’t the most interesting team in the Majors. I am not saying you want to watch this team but monitoring them is fascinating. They make moves and deploy their players unlike any other team.
