The White Sox lost all three at home to the Twins this week and now a real tough stretch on the schedule begins with three in Atlanta followed by four in Cleveland to begin next week.
Chicago’s chances of finishing even .500 are dwindling and now even a 75-win season is looking unlikely. That doesn’t mean this season has been a total disappointment, though.

Atlanta is home from Toronto after a day off to travel and won’t hit the road again until September 9, when it goes to Philly.

As good as Washington has been, Atlanta has held it at an arm’s length.
