Baltimore Orioles
Baltimore has been getting spanked around most of the weekend but they did have some success against Chicago last week taking two of three. With every week I think we are going to see separation between Baltimore and the rest of the league. They were alright early but the pitching has been terrible and at the plate they are relying on players with little track record.

John Means started the season in the bullpen but has now started in three of his last four appearances. The first one was terrible but since then he has given up just 1ER in 5IP in each of his last two starts. I also like the fact that he has a good K rate and decent control. He might be someone with some hidden value right now.
Chicago White Sox
Chicago has been scoring runs but the only team they have a better ERA than is Baltimore so we should see some offense in this series. Somehow Tim Anderson and Yoan Moncada are having good success this season even though it seems like they swing at everything. They are making some contact and producing this season.

Coming from the bullpen Manny Banuelos first start could not have gone much better. He only got through 4 innings but with no runs allowed and 4 strikeouts. He could do more of the same against a lame Baltimore lineup but there are no guarantees. Chicago’s bullpen is probably not going to bail him out either.
