The Kent State Golden Flashes have looked awesome this year specifically on offense where they look to have one of, if not the best, offense in the conference. They now look to continue rolling with that elite offense against their greatest test of the year in the Buffalo Bulls who are also rolling at 3-0.
The Bulls also have an elite offense, failing to score under 40 points in a single game this year, and with the Kent State defense looking a little sub-par they very well may be in line to score 40+ again.
Kent State Golden Flashes
Kent State worried bettors in the first half of their game with the Akron Zips, as that game was tight at half time despite a big spread, but the Golden Flashes managed to come alive in the second half to cover against Akron in a game that finished with a 69-35 scoreline.
That does not exactly bode well for the Golden Flashes in this one, as the Buffalo Bulls have a far better offense than the Zips and the Golden Flashes find themselves on the road here on Saturday.
QB Dustin Crum has been elite here in 2020 with over 800 passing yards and a very solid 9-1 TD to INT ratio and there is no reason to believe he can not have plenty of success here against the Bulls secondary.
Buffalo Bulls
The Buffalo Bulls have been the best all around team in the MAC this year, as they have found a decent balance between their offense and defense and they will need both of those units to step-up in this game against a very good Kent State Golden Flashes team who will be highly motivated for this one.
QB Kyle Vantrease has been decent this year, but the majority of this offense runs through RB Jaret Patterson who already has over 500 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns. This Golden Flashes front 7 might also struggle against this excellent Bulls O-line, so he may be in a position here to really pad those stats.
