I’m trusting Jacksonville State to make its scoring chances count when this game gets uncomfortable.
The Gamecocks have also won their last 16 games as favorites, a useful situational trend. It doesn’t cash tonight’s ticket by itself, but they’ve handled this role before.
FIU can make this ugly by controlling possession and keeping the score close. One busted coverage or short-field opportunity could change that equation. I expect Jacksonville State to capitalize when it matters.
