10-30-16 | Cardinals v. Panthers -3 | 20-30 | Win | 100 | 5 h 37 m | Show
NFL NFC MATCHUP                                CARDINALS @ PANTHERS The Cards scored just 6 points last week at home against the Seahawks. It was the 3rd time in their last 5 games they have been held under 20 points. their 2 wins in their last 5 games were against 2 pretty bad teams, the Jets and SF who are a combined 3-11. If Palmer can't play the whole game because he is nursing a sore hamstring the Cards could be in for a long afternoon. With one of the better offense in the league the Panthers are ranked 5th in scoring and 4th in total yards. They have turned the ball over 16 times that have killed drives and kept their defense out on the field too long. They have scored over 33 points in 3 of their last 5 games and they have won the last 2 meetings between these teams. Take Carolina |

The Texans are 4-0 at home and Osweiller has played much better there. The Lions last 3 wins have been by 7 points total. Take Houston |
10-30-16 | Chiefs -2.5 v. Colts | 30-14 | Win | 100 | 4 h 23 m | Show

They beat 2 good passing teams in their last 2 games and lead the league with 10 interceptions. They held a high scoring Oakland team to just 10 points and then beat the Saints last week holding them to 21 points. They have a balanced offense that averages 23 points a game. The Colts are a passing team and have done well. they rank just 22nd running the ball and need to have a ground game against the Chiefs who bend but don't break on defense. Their defense has been a big problem ranked 29th in total defense and 28th in points allowed giving up 28 points a game. Take Kansas City |
10-30-16 | Seahawks v. Saints +1.5 | 20-25 | Win | 100 | 3 h 47 m | Show
NFL NFC MATCHUP                               SEAHAWKS @ SAINTS This is a classic offense vs defense game. The Seahawks are ranked first in points allowed and their pass and run defense ranked in the top 10. The Saints are the best passing team with Brees at the helm but their defense allows a league high 33 points a game. Seattle was up to the task last week when they held Arizona to 6 points. QB Russel Wilson has been slowed down by injury but the Saints defense will be that much worse with a banged up secondary. Seattle should be able to move the ball a lot better than last week and their defense should take care of business and hold down the Saints one dimensional offense. Take Seattle |

NFL NFC MATCHUP                                     BUCS @ 49ERS Tampa broke their 3 game losing streak with a surprising win over Carolina and their other win was against the Falcons. They will look to run on SF who are the worst in the NFL in defending the run. The Niners have given up at least 33 points in 4 of their games and 4 of their losses were by double digits. The Niners give up 31 points a game on average and score just 21. Take Tampa Bay |

NFL AFC MATCHUP                                COLTS @ TITANS .The Colts could be in big trouble as Luck who has been sacked a league leading 23 times faces a Titan defense that has 6 sacks in each of their last 2 games. Last week they blew a 14 point lead in the 4th quarter and have lost all 3 games on the road. They are ranked 30th in total defense and allow teams to score 29 points a game. Dalton for Cinci is the 3rd ranked QB in the league in passing yards while the Bengals are 11th in total offense with a passing game that averages 275 yards a game. Their trouble has been putting points on the board not moving the ball. against a defense like the Browns have they could break it open today. Take Cincinnati |
10-23-16 | Redskins v. Lions +1 | 17-20 | Win | 100 | 3 h 26 m | Show
NFL NFC MATCHUP                                REDSKINS @ LIONS The Skins have won 4 straight games but beat just 1 team with a record above .500.                              NFL NFC MATCHUP                             COWBOYS @ PACKERS The Cowboys are on a roll having won 4 straight games and scoring at least 24 points in those games and holding their opponents to 17 points or less in the last 3 games. Their running game has the league's leading rusher Elliot wit 546 yards while rookie QB Prescott has yet to throw an interception. Their only loss was by 1 point to the Giants in the first game. Green Bay has struggled passing the ball and are ranked 27th in the air with Rodgers completing just 56 % of his passes. They have won 3 games and 2 of them were against Jacksonville and the Giants who are a combined 3-6. |||||||
10-16-16 | 49ers +9 v. Bills | 16-45 | Loss | -115 | 6 h 9 m | Show
NFL AFC - NFC MATCHUP                                 49ERS AT BILLS Kaepernick gets his first start of the year replacing Gabbard who just couldn't get it done and was ranked near the bottom of the league. They played Arizona tough last week but the 4th quarter did them in and the week before played a good Dallas team close before losing by four after losing a late lead. QB Gabbert had more picks than TD's which hurt the Niner offense and let close games get away from them. Buffalo has won 3 straight games and is running the ball well. Last week they beat LA who are ranked 29th offensively and the week before beat New England who had 2 QB's that were hurt. They are dead last in the NFL in passing and a running game will eat up the clock making it hard for them to cover a big spread. This could be Kaepernick's chance at redemption so look for him to have a good game. Take San Francisco |
10-16-16 | Eagles -2.5 v. Redskins | 20-27 | Loss | -119 | 6 h 8 m | Show
NFL  NFC EAST MATCHUP                                   EAGLES @ REDSKINS The Eagles fought back to pull within a point after being down 21-7 to the Lions last week and a fumble at the end of the game might have cost them a win. Their defense plays well and are ranked 3rd in the league against the rush while last week they held a good Lion offense to 260 total yards. They are 2nd in total defense and allow just 12.8 points a game. The Skins beat Baltimore last week but their offense was held to 60 yards rushing and they are now ranked 25th in the league running the ball. RB Jones was held to only 31 yards on the ground against Baltimore and with TE Jordan probably out this week their offense will be slowed even more. On the other side of the ball they are 27th in total defense and 3rd worst stopping the run. Take Philadelphia |
10-16-16 | Bengals v. Patriots -7 | 17-35 | Win | 100 | 5 h 16 m | Show
NFL AFC MATCHUP                                  BENGALS @ PATRIOTS The Bengals come in losers of 3 of their last 4 games. their 1 dimensional offense is part of the reason. They can pass for yardage but the can't rush and have had trouble scoring. They are ranked 26th rushing the ball and 24th in scoring (18.4 points a game). Their 2 wins came against 2 pretty bad teams Miami and the Jets who are a combined 2-8. They have lost 3 games and all of them were by at least 8 points including last week where they feel behind Dallas 28-0 at one point. Brady came back last week and threw for over 400 yards and 3 TD's. This was a good spot as the Pats were shut out the week before. They have won by at least 20 points in 2 of their last 3 victories while their defense is ranked 13th in total defense and are ranked 4th in points allowed (14.8 a game). They have scored at least 27 points in 3 of their last 4 games and given up 29 points total in their last 3 games. Take New England |

QB Keenum has thrown just 4 TD's and 5 interceptions and last week in their loss committed 3 TO's. They have scored over 20 points in just 1 game and that was against Tampa Bay. The Lions got a big win against Philly last week who were undefeated at the time. Stafford threw 3 TD passes for the third time this season and their offense is very consistent being ranked 13th in passing and 12th in scoring (24 points a game). They broke a 3 game losing streak where 2 of the losses were by 4 points total. Take Detroit |
10-09-16 | Chargers v. Raiders -3.5 | 31-34 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 47 m | Show
NFL AFC WEST MATCHUP                                 CHARGERS @ RAIDERS Things just keep getting worse for SD who have lost 3 games and blown leads in all 3. They lost both of their starting CBs and that's not good against a QB like Carr who has thrown for over 1000 yards and 9 TD's with just 1 pick. Rivers only threw 2 TD's in the last 2 weeks and was sacked 5 times while their only win was against the Jags. Oakland scored 28 points against Baltimore in a win on the road against one of the league's best defenses with Carr throwing 4 TDs. They have now won 2 straight games and their only loss was against Atlanta who have the league's best offense and that loss was by 7 points. Take Oakland |
10-09-16 | Redskins +4 v. Ravens | 16-10 | Win | 100 | 8 h 49 m | Show

The scored 60 the last 2 weeks and Cousins has thrown 5 TD's the last 2 weeks. They are ranked 7th in total offense and 5th in passing. Baltimore is having problems passing as Flacco is ranked 30th in the league averaging 6.3 yards per pass. They scored just 13 points against Buffalo and 19 against the Jags while the lowly Cleveland defense held them to 12 points in the 1st half of their game and the Raiders who give up over 26 points a game held them to 6 in the first of their game. Take Washington |
10-09-16 | Bears v. Colts -4.5 | 23-29 | Win | 100 | 8 h 48 m | Show
NFL AFC NFC MATCHUP                                 BEARS @ COLTS The Bears win last week came at the expense of poor play by the Lions. They are ranked dead last in scoring points and haven't scored more than 17 points in any game. They are 26th in rushing and 24th in total offense while their defense has sacked the QB just 6 times all year and starting QB Cutler is still out. They have to play this game on the road and Indy is tough at home. The Colt's offense has played well even in last weeks loss to the Jags. They scored 21 points in the 4th quarter but fell short in the loss. They are ranked 7th in both total offense and scoring and 12th in passing yards with Luck ranked 8th in the league with 8 TDs and 3 picks while passing for over 1100 yards. Their 3 losses were by a total of 13 points including a tough 6 point loss in Denver. Take Indianapolis |

NFL AFC MATCHUP                                 PATRIOTS @ BROWNS Brady comes back at the right time for the Pats and everyone will be psyched. The Pats won their first 3 games including a win in Arizona and a 27-0 thrashing of Houston. They lost last week after seeing both replacement QB's for Brady get hurt. They scored 68 points total the 2 previous weeks. Cleveland is in trouble and not just because they haven't won a game but they also can't decide who their QB is. They started 3 different QBs in their first 3 games and their defense allows 28 .8 points a game. They allowed Miami who have an offense ranked 28th in total yards and 28th in scoring to beat them and score 30 points. Take New England |
10-09-16 | Titans +3 v. Dolphins | 30-17 | Win | 105 | 8 h 44 m | Show
NFL AFC MATCHUP                                 TITANS @ DOLPHINS The Titans were beaten when the Vikings scored 2 second half defensive TD's and lost last week to Houston on a punt return for a TD. They held Oakland ranked 4th in total offense to 17 points and beat Detroit 16-15 and they are ranked 9th in total offense. They have the 4th best rushing game in the NFL and face the 29th ranked rushing defense Dolphins and it doesn't get better stat wise for the Fish. Last week Tannenhill was sacked 5 times as they were completely shut down 22-7 while their rushing game is the 4th worst in the league. Their offense has been horrible and are ranked 28th in total offense and 28th in scoring and their defense can't get it right either being ranked 27th in total defense. This is the week for the Titans. Take Tennessee |
10-09-16 | Eagles v. Lions +4 | 23-24 | Win | 100 | 8 h 43 m | Show
NFL NFC MATCHUP                                  EAGLES @ LIONS On paper this looks just too good for Philly but 2 of their wins were against the lowly Browns and Bears who are 1-7 combined. Their big winwas last week against the Steelers so maybe they aren't as good as they seem and the Lions are always tough at home. Detroit's 3 losses are by a combined 11 points while they average over 25 points a game. QB Stafford is ranked 4th in the league in passing and throws for 300 yards a game and over 100 yards on the ground. Their 1 bad game was last week against the Bears. They scored 27 points in Green Bay and 39 points in Indianapolis. Take Detroit |
10-02-16 | Cowboys -1 v. 49ers | 24-17 | Win | 100 | 9 h 46 m | Show
NFL NFC MATCHUP                               COWBOYS @ 49ERS The Cowboys have won 2 straight games and last week beat up the Bears 31-17 with Elliot rushing for 140 yards. He is tied for 2nd in rushing in the league while Dallas scored 58 points the last 2 weeks in their wins. Rookie QB Prescott hasn't thrown a pick all season. The 49ers lost for the second straight week and have given up 83 points in those 2 games. Gabbard is completing just 55% of his passes and threw for only 119 yards last week. They have the 4th worst defense that gives up 292 yards a game. Take Dallas |
10-02-16 | Rams +9.5 v. Cardinals | 17-13 | Win | 100 | 9 h 43 m | Show
NFL NFC WEST                                RAMS @ CARDS The Rams have won 2 straight games beating a very good Seattle team and then spanking the Bucs. Their running game got on track with 137 yards last week and Gurley scored 2 TD's. The Cards were hammered by the Bills 33-18 as Palmer threw 4 picks in a 33-18 loss. Their only win was against a defenseless Tampa Bay team. So far Palmer has thrown 5 TD's and 4 interceptions in 2 losses. Their defense is banged up with 2 rookies sitting this one out. DE Nkemdiche and CB Williams won't be playing. Take Los Angeles |
10-02-16 | Bills v. Patriots -6.5 | 16-0 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 23 m | Show
NFL AFC EAST                                   BILLS @ PATRIOTS The Bills have played an up and down season so far. In their first game they produced 7 points and less than 200 total yards of offense and last week rushed for over 200 yards. Then against the Jets gave up almost 500 yards and 37 points in the loss and again last week stopped the Cards 33-18 and picked off Palmer 4 times. They will probably have to run the ball again if they want to win because WR  Watkins won't be playing again. The Pats keep on winning and it doesn't matter who the QB i. Garappolo won the first 2 games and then Brissett filled in when he got hurt to lead them last week over the Texans 27-0.The only slip up for the Pats is when they let the Dolphins score 21 straight points to make a blowout game a lot closer. Take New England |
10-02-16 | Raiders +4 v. Ravens | 28-27 | Win | 100 | 5 h 22 m | Show
NFL AFC MATCHUP                                RAIDERS @ RAVENS The Raiders are ranked 2nd in the league averaging 436 yards a game and scoring 27.6 points. In their only loss carr passed for 290 yards and 3 TD's and would have won the game but a 51 yard scoring pass was called back because the receiver stepped out of bounds and came back in without being touched. Their defense had 2 interceptions and a fumble recovery in last week's win over Tennessee. The Ravens allowed Cleveland to take a 20-0 lead before coming back to win but gave up 145 yards on the ground. Against the Jaguars they blew a 16-7 lead before winning that game with a 54 yard FG against a weak Jacksonville offense. Their offense is ranked 25th in the league and have struggled in their wins. Take Oakland |
10-02-16 | Browns v. Redskins -7.5 | 20-31 | Win | 100 | 5 h 22 m | Show
NFL NFC - AFC MATCHUP                                  BROWNS @ REDSKINS The Browns will have to start rookie QB Kessler again and RB Crowell who is 2nd in rushing in the NFL is doubtful with an injury. The Browns have lost all 3 games so far and have given up over 300 passing yards the last 2 weeks. They were shut out in 3 quarters of the game against the Ravens and their defense allowed Tannenhill to throw 3 TD passes last week. Washington rallied for 12 points in their win over the Giants and sealed it with an interception of Manning in the final minutes. Cousins ended his slump and passed for 296 yards and 2 TD's in their first win. this is bad news for the Browns who haven't done well against the pass. Take Washington |

They were shutout the last 3 quarters of their game last week and even in their win against SF, caught a break when the 49ers only scored 13 points off of 4 Carolina TO's. Atlanta's offense is scoring points in bunches and now leads the league in scoring and total offense. They scored 80 points in their last 2 games and Ryan has thrown 7 TD's with just 1 interception. in their loss they were down 31-13 and fought back to lose that game by 7 points. Take Atlanta |
10-02-16 | Seahawks -1.5 v. Jets | 27-17 | Win | 100 | 5 h 19 m | Show
NFL AFC - NFC MATCHUP                                     SEAHAWKS @ JETS The Jets had a horrible game last week with Fitzpatrick throwing 6 picks and losing 2 fumbles. His 2 favorite targets will not platy this week as Decker and Marshall are both out with injuries. They have had problems defending the pass as both Buffalo and the Bengals had over 300 yards passing and they lost both of those games. seattle scored qa big 37-18 win last week over SF with graham having a big game. 09-25-16 | Steelers -3.5 v. Eagles | 3-34 | Loss | -100 | 96 h 41 m | Show
NFL AFC - NFC MATCHUP                                  STEELERS @ EAGLES The Eagles beat up 2 of the least productive teams in the league when they beat the Browns and then the Bears. In the game against Cleveland they didn't put the Browns away until the end of the 3rd quarter and were just about even at the half. Against the Bears last week they were again almost even at the half until the Bears turned the ball over twice and allowed the Eagles to score both times. It will be a different story against the Steelers with Big Ben having 2 good games where he has passed for 559 yards and 6 TD's so far while the Pittsburgh defense has held both Washington and Cincinnati to 16 points each and have forced 4 TO's. This is too much to ask of a rookie QB even though Wentz has played well for the Eagles. Take Pittsburgh |
09-25-16 | Rams v. Bucs -5 | 37-32 | Loss | -111 | 95 h 18 m | Show
NFL NFC MATCHUP                                    RAMS @ BUCS Not knowing who your go to starting QB will be isn't a good thing but when you can't run the ball just compounds the problem the Rams lost their first game 28-0 to SF. Their offense was anemic to say the least. They rushed for  just 65 yards in the game and their QB only produced 120 passing yards while the defense gave up 150 rushing yards and 170 passing yards. The second week was a little better as they scored 9 points but gain only came up with 64 yards on the ground and again the pressure was on the QB who couldn't lead them to a TD. The Bucs rolled to a 31-13 lead over the Falcons before finally winning 31-24. Winston passed for 281 yards a 4 TD's while the defense held Atlanta to just 52 yards on the ground. last week it all came apart as they ran into a buzz saw called Arizona who did everything right while mistakes hurt the Bucs. Turning the ball over 5 times isn't the way you win games but if they play like they did in the first game then Tampa should have this one in the bag. Take Tampa Bay |

09-25-16 | Lions +8 v. Packers | 27-34 | Win | 100 | 92 h 15 m | Show
NFL - NFC NORTH                               LIONS @ PACKERS Stafford had a very good game against the Raiders in the Lion's first game completing 31 of 39 passes for 340 yards and 3 TD's. They built up a 28-18 lead with just over 2 minutes left in the third quarter helped by Stafford leading the offense on 3 TD drives of at least 75 yards each in the first half. Detroit finished wit 448 total yards in the game but did allow Indy to score 17 points in the 4th quarter before pulling out a 39-35 victory. last week they played a defensive Tennessee team and lost 16-15. They led 15-10 but lost with a little over a minute left in the game. Stafford still had a nice game throwing for 260 yards and completing 22 of 40 passes. They were also sloppy being called for 17 penalties which cost hem 138 yards. The Packers beat Jacksonville in their opening game but didn't impress anyone with their offense getting under 300 total yards and their defense allowing over 300 passing yards. Rodgers had less than 200 yards passing in the victory. Last week their offense was again held to under 300 total yards and Rodgers passed for just 213 yards while being sacked 5 times. Take Detroit |
09-25-16 | Raiders v. Titans -1.5 | 17-10 | Loss | -109 | 92 h 14 m | Show
NFL AFC MATCHUP                             RAIDERS @ TITANS The Raiders defense was horrible 2 straight weeks allowing both opponents over 500 yards in total offense highlighted by a secondary that gave up over 400 yards in the air to New Orleans and then 389 yards in the air to the Falcons. Both teams scored over 30 points and because Oakland scored 28 last week it wasn't enough because of their defense. The Titan's defense are much better than that. They held the Viking offense to 12 points on 4 FG's but a fumble and an interception which were both returned for TD's accounted for the other 13 points in their 25-16 loss. Then last week held Detroit to 15 points in a win, They had 4 sacks in their game vs the Lions and held both teams to under 300 yards passing. I don't see how the Raiders will get the offensive production they will probably need to stay in this game. Take Tennessee |
09-22-16 | Texans -1 v. Patriots | 0-27 | Loss | -104 | 11 h 56 m | Show
NFL AFC MATCHUP                                TEXANS @ PATRIOTS    Houston won their first 2 games and showed that they can play defense. Last season in 6 of their last 7 wins of the year they held 6 opponents to 6 points each and 1 opponent to 10 points. This year they picked up right where they left off by holding their first 2 opponents to 26 points total. In the first game they held the Bears to 71 yards of offense an 0 points in the second half of their game while sacking Cutler 5 times and forcing an interception. Their offense ran for 129 yards and Osweiller threw 2 TD's in the win. In the second game they held the Chiefs to just a field goal through the first 3 quarters of the game and recorded 4 more sacks while recovering 3 fumbles. The Chiefs got 268 total yards for the game and didn't get to 200 until early in the 4th quarter. The Pats squeezed by Arizona 23-21 in their first game but fumbled the ball away twice. In their second game they built a 31-3 lead only to see Miami score 21 straight points and the Pats held on for the 7 point win. They lost starting QB Garappolo and he is doubtful for this week's game which means rookie Jacoby Brissett will probably be making his first start in the NFL against a defense that hasn't allowed a TD in 6 quarters. Take Houston                             |
09-18-16 | Colts v. Broncos -6 | 20-34 | Win | 100 | 13 h 46 m | Show
AFC MATCHUP                                 COLTS @ BRONCOS The Colts came back from a 21-3 deficit before losing 39-35. Their defense gave up 332 yards in the air along wit 3 TD's and 116 yards on the ground. They allowed the lions to have 3 TD drives of 75 yards or more in the first half with 2 TD's rushing including one for 21 yards. Denver came back from a 10 point deficit at halftime to squeak by with a 21-20 win over Carolina. They had a balanced attack that rushed for 148 yards and 2 TD's while the defense had 2 sacks and 1 interception while holding the Panthers in check and giving up just 3 points in the second half. Take Denver |
09-18-16 | Jaguars v. Chargers -3 | 14-38 | Win | 100 | 13 h 46 m | Show
NFL AFC MATCHUP                                    JAGUARS @ CHARGERS The Chargers played great football for 3 quarters but blew a 17 point lead in the 4th quarter before losing in OT. They had a balanced attack with 233 yards in the air and 155 yards on the ground other than the 4th quarter the defense played well getting 3 sacks and an interception. Don't expect the same results with the Chargers at home. With RB ivory out again along with TE Thomas, the Jaguar offense could be in trouble if they have to put it all on Bortles' shoulder again. he passed for over 300 yards against the Packers in a loss but the running game could only get 39 yards on the ground and that is a recipe for disaster. they have a history of playing bad on the West Coast going 2-14 since 2004. Take San Diego |
09-18-16 | Bucs v. Cardinals -7 | 7-40 | Win | 100 | 12 h 27 m | Show
NFL  NFC MATCHUP                                     BUCS @ CARDS The Cards lost to the Pats 23-21 missing a FG that would have won the game. They gave up 10 points in the 1st quarter when they got off to a slow start but outscored the Pats 21-13 the final 3 quarters of the game. Palmer threw for 271 yards and 2 TD's while the defense other than the early mistakes, had 2 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries. The Bucs beat Atlanta and QB Winston had a big day throwing 4 TD's. There was no pressure put on him by the Falcons and he was never sacked. He won't have the same results in Arizona against that defense. On the other side of the ball the Bucs gave up 334 yards passing and 2 TD's. They were outscored in the second half by the Falcons who kept the ball for over 32 minutes. Take Arizona |
09-18-16 | 49ers +13.5 v. Panthers | 27-46 | Loss | -120 | 9 h 14 m | Show
NFC MATCHUP                           SAN FRANCISCO @ CAROLINA The Niners played a very good game on Monday night and need to play that way again. Gilbert had a good game completing 22 passes for 170 yards and RB Hyde ran for 88 and 2 TD's. Altogether SF rushed for 150 yards while their defense held LA to 185 yards in total offense. Carolina struggled a bit against the run as Anderson gained 92 yards and had 47 yards receiving while scoring 2 TD's. They will have to be careful of the SF pass rush and without Norman in the secondary they could get hurt if the 49ers start to run and open up the passing. Take San Francisco |
09-18-16 | Cowboys v. Redskins -3 | 27-23 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 14 m | Show
NFL NFC EAST                              COWBOYS @ REDSKINS Both teams came up short last week in their openers. With Romo out rookie QB Prescott didn't make mistakes but didn't impress either. He only completed short passes and couldn't get the Cowboys into the end zone. He was 0-6 on passes of 20 or more yards and their rushing game wasn't effective as they had 27 carries for 86 yards. WR Bryant didn't really do much either and now averages less than 50 yards a game when Romo is out.  Cousins had a bad game and really didn't do much until it was too late. Last season Cousins had a 75% completion rate in Washington with just 2 picks. Washington should be able to pass on Dallas and put up points. Take Washington |
09-18-16 | Saints v. Giants -4 | 13-16 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 13 m | Show
NFL - NFC                                  SAINTS @ GIANTS Drew Brees was the offense again for the Saint while their defense again didn't show up. they had a 24-10 lead at one point in the game before finally losing 35-34. They allowed Oakland to score 22 points in the 4th quarter by giving up 210 yards in offense to the Raiders.Oakland rushed for 167 yards and passed for over 300 in the game while the Saints didn't have a single sack. The Giants stopped the Dallas offensive line from opening up holes for their running game holding rookie Elliot to 51 yards on the ground and their defense didn't break when Dallas moved the ball. they forced Dallas to kick field goals the first 2 drives and that was the difference in the game. manning threw 3 TD passes leading the Giants to a win. Take New York      |
09-12-16 | Steelers -1.5 v. Redskins | 38-16 | Win | 100 | 8 h 38 m | Show
NFL AFC VS NFC                                STEELERS @ REDSKINS The Steelers visit Washington looking for their 6th straight win in the series. Big Ben led the NFL last season with 328 yards passing a game while winning 6 of their last 8 games before losing the title game to Denver. They had some big wins last season against teams like Arizona, Cincinnati and Denver during the regular season. Washington won their division last season with a late season surge but they didn't win a game against a playoff team or a team with a winning record. They started off slow and dropped 4 of their first 6 games and lost to some bad teams including the Giants twice and Dallas without Romo. The Steelers should overpower the Skins tonite. Take Pittsburgh |
09-11-16 | Vikings v. Titans +1 | 25-16 | Loss | -100 | 197 h 55 m | Show
NFL                                 VIKINGS @ TITANS The Vikings suffered a big blow when they lost QB Bridgewater with possibly a season ending injury. They picked up Bradford from Philly but he has had just a week to prepare. Tennessee can concentrate more on RB Peterson who is good but last season rushed for under 100 yards in 9 games and was prone to fumble as he did 6 times. The Titans have QB Mariota healthy for once. He sat out 4 games last season because of injury and wasn't 100% in 3 or 4 others but he still passed for almost 3000 yards and 19 TD's. Wit the pickup of RB DeMarco Murray and rookie RB Derrick Henry who had a very good preseason this could be a very difficult Titan team to defend. Opening Day at home gives the Titans an additional advantage. Take Tennessee |
09-11-16 | Packers -4 v. Jaguars | 27-23 | Push | 0 | 4 h 50 m | Show
NFL                                  PACKERS @ JAGUARS Green Bay is ready to play football. With a slimmed down Lacey at RB and returning WR Nelson we should see the old Green Bay offensive machine that won their last preseason game 38-10 over the Saints. Green Bay usually jumps out to quick starts and won 5 of their first 7 in 2014 and their first 6 games last season. Their strong defense that was ranked 6th against the pass is healthy and in place. The Jags are banking on a lot of new players to fix a defense that was ranked 31st in points allowed last season. They got free agents and drafted defensive players. That may come to be but not in the first week of  a new season for those players. Besides they are notorious for being slow out of the gate going 1-10 over the last 3 years in September. They may improve as the season progresses but not this week! Take Green Bay |
02-07-16 | Panthers v. Broncos +5.5 | 10-24 | Win | 100 | 13 h 48 m | Show
SUPERBOWL SUNDAY                          CAROLINA VS DENVER The 2 best teams in the NFL meet for Superbowl 50. Manning is back for Denver and didn't throw a pick in the last 2 playoff games while the top ranked Denver defense shut down the passing game and high scoring Patriots in the last game. They held New England to 44 yards rushing and the week before held Pitt to 89 yards on the ground. They forced Brady to throw 2 picks and sacked him 4 times. New England only scored 18 points in the game. the Denver defense had 7 sacks in the 2 playoff games they played. Carolina have played extremely well in the playoffs and regular season. They won both playoff games convincingly but in only one game did their offense really come alive. A good Seattle defense only gave up 161 yards in the air and Carolina gave up over 300 yards. Seattle made a lot of mistakes that cost them the game. Denver's defense has been steady and with both teams pretty even on defense it could be a rough day for Newton and Manning. Take Denver and the points |
01-24-16 | Cardinals +3 v. Panthers | 15-49 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 35 m | Show
NFC PLAYOFF PUNISHER                         ARIZONA @ CAROLINA Arizona beat Green Bay last week 27-20 and Carson Palmer threw for 275 yards in the second half to lead the Cards. He ended up with 349 yards and 3 TD's. For the season, Arizona was 2nd in points scored and ranked 7th in points allowed. Last week the defense gave up 261 passing yards and 135 on the ground with 80 of them on 2 plays, and also grabbed an interception. Carolina beat Seattle 31-24 but fell apart in the 2nd half being outscored 24-0. They have a balanced offense and a good defense. They did give up 366 yards passing last week while Cam Newton was held to 151 yards in the air and just 1 TD. They rushed for 144 yards but ended up getting shutout in the 2nd half. Seattle ended up with over 400 yards on offense which is not typical for Carolina. Take Arizona |
01-24-16 | Patriots -3 v. Broncos | 18-20 | Loss | -102 | 5 h 55 m | Show
NFL - AFC PLAYOFF GAME                          NEW ENGLAND @ DENVER Today's winner goes to the Superbowl for the AFC. New England was one of the most consistent teams all year even with the injuries that crippled their offense. But Brady kept it together and the Patriots are here for today's game. The Pats were 5th in passing yards, 3rd in points scored [29] and 10th in points allowed [20]. Now Brady has his receivers back and last week they beat the Chiefs 27-20 with Brady throwing for 302 yards and 2 TD's without a pick. Their defense allowed the Chiefs 246 passing yards and 1 TD and 1 TD on the ground. The Broncos beat Pittsburgh last week 23-16 but had to come from behind in the 4th quarter while their defense gave up 339 passing yards. Manning had been injured and is still not 100% but the Broncos managed to win and he is back. He has done ok by his standards and threw for 222 yards but 0 TD's last week. The Patriots have played better on offense but Denver has played better on defense. Take New England |
01-17-16 | Seahawks v. Panthers -1.5 | 24-31 | Win | 100 | 32 h 40 m | Show
NFL SUNDAY KNOCKOUT IN THE NFC                         SEATTLE @ CAROLINA Seattle is lucky to be playing this game because last week they beat the Vikings when Minnesota's PK missed a 27 yard field goal in the last seconds giving Seattle a 10-9 win. QB Russell Wilson only threw for 142 yards and Seattle's offense was shut down by the Vikings and the cold weather. Their defense played well as expected but they are ranked 20th in passing and just a rushing game will not be enough against Carolina. Seattle lost 6 games during the regular season and 4 of them were to teams currently in the playoffs. Carolina had a great year going 15-1 and the team has won 11 straight home games. They are ranked 1st in scoring points with 31.3 and 7 of their wins were by double digits. They played good defense and the team was ranked 6th in allowing points with 19.3 a game. They finished the season scoring over 30 points in 6 of their last 7 games. Take Carolina |
01-16-16 | Chiefs v. Patriots -4.5 | 20-27 | Win | 100 | 21 h 37 m | Show
AFC PLAYOFF SATURDAY SPECIAL                            CHIEFS @ PATRIOTS The Chiefs come into Foxboro pretty banged up on both sides of the ball. In their win last week Houston combined with the KC defense handed the Chiefs a victory by providing 5 TO's. Their offense has struggled all year and QB Alex Smith passed for just 173 yards in that win. It was the 6th straight game he has thrown for under 200 yards. Their offense is ranked 27th overall and just 30th passing the ball. They are 5-3 on the road and now on the road in New England which is one of the most difficult places to play. New England has had their share of injuries as well and were not the same team at the end of the season. They will have receiver Edelman back and probably Gronkowski. Brady has been steady all year and the Pats have gone 7-1 at home and have scored over 27 points in 6 of them. the Pats are 5th in passing, 3rd in scoring and 10th defensively in points allowed. All of New England's wins have been by at least 7 points except once. Take New England |
01-10-16 | Seahawks -4 v. Vikings | 10-9 | Loss | -110 | 49 h 56 m | Show
NFC WILDCARD SUNDAY                            SEATTLE @ MINNESOTA Seattle has won 6 of their last 7 games with QB Wilson throwing 24 TD's and 1 pick during this stretch. They are 3rd in the league rushing the ball so their offense is good at running as well. Their defense is their strong suit being ranked 1st in allowing points and 1st at stopping the run which is the strength of the Vikings offense since they are ranked 29th passing the ball. The Vikings finished the season 4-3 their last 7 with 3 wins coming against Chicago, the Giants and Atlanta. They are ranked 29th in total offense averaging under 23 points a game and were held to 20 points or less in 7 games this season. Take Seattle |
01-09-16 | Steelers v. Bengals +3 | 18-16 | Win | 100 | 33 h 30 m | Show
AFC WILDCARD                       STEELERS @ BENGALS The Steelers have won 4 of their last 5 games but are hurting offensively with DeAngelo Williams hurt and unable to play. Pitt's running game is almost non-existent now. They have been relying on Big Ben for most of their offense but now even more. Pitt has been held to under 30 points in their last 2 games for the first time in 6 weeks. Big Ben has been passing for a lot of yards but he has thrown 6 picks in his last 3 games. They are ranked 30th in the league against the pass and had better tighten that up. Cinci's QB McCarron has thrown 4 TD's and no picks in his last 3 starts and the Bengals have won 2 of 3. They have held 5 of their last 6 opponents to 20 points or less and are ranked 2nd allowing 17.4 points a game. Their offense has been steady and they are ranked 7th in points scored. With the demise of the Steeler running game, Cinci will be able to pressure Ben and not really worry about the run. Take Cincinnati |
01-03-16 | Seahawks +6.5 v. Cardinals | 36-6 | Win | 100 | 8 h 15 m | Show
NFC WEST BIG BATTLE                             SEATTLE @ ARIZONA Before losing last week Seattle had won 5 straight and were averaging 34 points a game. Even in their lost last week their defense held the Rams to 204 total yards. Their defense has also held opponents to under 14 points in 7 games and is ranked 3rd in points allowed. Of their 5 losses,4 have been under 7 points. Arizona has everything wrapped up for the playoffs and will probably rest a lot of their walking wounded. QB Carson has a bad throwing hand and a secondary banged up as well as their RB's. They have played well all season but with the big point spread and injuries this late look for Atlanta to play laid back Take Seattle and the points |
01-03-16 | Chargers +10 v. Broncos | 20-27 | Win | 100 | 6 h 38 m | Show
AFC WEST BEATDOWN!                             CHARGERS @ BRONCOS Today Manning returns for Denver but on the sidelines. Osweiler will start and with Denver secure in the playoffs would like to capture their division with a win. Denver has had trouble putting points on the board and will probably bring in Manning if that happens. The Broncos are battling injuries on defense and LB Brandon Marshall is out. The Charger defense has played well the past few weeks holding opponents to 23 points or less in 5 of their last 6 games. QB Philip Rivers is still throwing like crazy leading the Chargers and they are ranked 4th in passing. This is a big line for a game that may not see all of it's key players. Take San Diego |
01-03-16 | Saints v. Falcons -5 | 20-17 | Loss | -117 | 16 h 42 m | Show
NFC SOUTH SLAMDOWN!                             SAINTS @ FALCONS Both teams have missed the playoffs and are looking ahead to next season. The Saints have dropped 5 of their last 7 games and in 4 of those losses gave up 34 points or more. Their defense has been horrible all year ranked 31st against both the run and pass while they are dead last in giving up total yards a game. On average they give up 31 points a game. Considering their rushing game is ranked 22nd and QB Brees is playing hurt and might see limited action, they are in trouble today. The Falcons have won 2 straight including last week where they beat Carolina and QB Matt Ryan threw for over 300 yards. They held the Panthers offense to 113 rushing yards and only allowed them 13 points. The last 2 weeks the defense has only allowed 30 points total. Take Atlanta |
01-03-16 | Jets -3 v. Bills | 17-22 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 12 m | Show
AFC EAST BATTLE                             JETS @ BUFFALO It's very simple. If the Jets win they are in the  playoffs so all they need is a victory against the Bills today. They have won 5 straight with QB Ryan Fitzpatrick throwing for 1,524 yards and 13 TD's during the streak. Their defense has been their strength all year and has allowed no more than 20 points the last 5 games. They are ranked 6th in the league in overall defensively and the rushing defense is 1st. The Bills are out of the playoffs and have lost 4 of their last 6 games. In 3 of those losses they gave up at least 30 points and last week their offense could only manage 16 points against Dallas. With RB LeSean McCoy out and QB Tyrod Taylor nursing a sore throwing shoulder, their offense could sputter against the Jet defense. Take the Jets |
01-03-16 | Patriots v. Dolphins UNDER 46.5 | 10-20 | Win | 100 | 5 h 11 m | Show
AFC EAST BATTLE                        PATRIOTS @ DOLPHINS Both teams have been struggling on offense and both are coming off losses last week. For the Patriots it's been injuries. Their offense has been devastated in their rushing and receiving. Since the Pats already have a 1st round bye they can afford to rest the walking wounded. They lost to the Jets last week and have dropped 3 of their last 5 games. Their running game has completely shut down not having scored a TD in their last 2 games. The Dolphins' offense has struggled all year and nothing looks like it will change today. In their last 9 games they have averaged scoring just 16 points and in 8 of those were held to 20 or less points. They are 27th in the league in points scored and 22nd in passing and 27th in rushing. With QB Tannehill playing hurt after being sacked 6 times last week there doesn't seem to be much hope. Take the under |
01-03-16 | Redskins +4 v. Cowboys | 34-23 | Win | 100 | 5 h 10 m | Show
NFC BATTLE ROYALE                          WASHINGTON @ DALLAS The Redskins have won 3 straight and seem to be tuned up for the playoffs. QB Cousins has exploded in his last 3 games leading the Skins to a scoring average of 32 points and averaging 407 total yards a game. In just his last 2 games he has thrown for 984 yards and 8 TD's. The Skins have scored 97 points total in those games. They are now ranked 12th in the league in passing. Dallas have dropped their last 3 games scoring just 29 points in total. With major problems continuing at QB they once again will start Kellen Moore who could only get their offense to score 16 points last week. Dallas has started 4 different QBs so far this season and with receiver Dez Bryant out it doesn't look good. The team is ranked 31st in scoring and 29th throwing the ball. Take Washington |
12-28-15 | Bengals v. Broncos -3 | 17-20 | Push | 0 | 14 h 28 m | Show
BATTLE ROYALE IN THE AFC                          BENGALS @ BRONCOS The Broncos are still trying to wrap up their post season spot. It's not a done deal and there is still a chance of missing the playoffs if they don't play well or possibly win their division and maybe even a first round bye if if they do play well. The Bengals have already assured themselves of a playoff spot but have been struggling since losing QB Andy Dalton. Replacement AJ McCarron has thrown 3 TD's and 2 picks in his backup role and last week the Bengals had a season low 242 total yard output against San Francisco. They have only rushed for 132 yards the past 2 weeks and McCarron has been sacked 7 times. Their scoring has also taken a hit, getting 34 points total the last 2 weeks. Denver's problems are coming in the second half of their last 3 games where they haven't scored. QB Osweiler threw for 3 scores and ran for 1 in the 1st half last week but Denver was shutout for the 3rd straight game in the 2nd half. Their defense abandoned them last week but overall they are ranked 1st against the run and are tied for the league lead with 47 sacks. Take Denver |

12-14-15 | Giants -1.5 v. Dolphins | 31-24 | Win | 100 | 12 h 34 m | Show
MONDAY MAYHEM IN MIAMI                         GIANTS @ DOLPHINS To struggling teams with the Giants losing 4 of 5 and the dolphins losing 4 of 6. Only the Giants still have a chance for the playoffs as  they are tied for the lead in a division nobody seems to want to win. Last week against the Jets the Giants yet again blew a 4th quarter lead to lose. Their last 4 losses have been by a total of 13 points even though their offense is ranked 7th in scoring and 7th in passing. This season alone thy have lost 5 games when they were leading in the 4th quarter. Their running game has been horrible which has put too much pressure on Manning but tonite the play the Dolphins who are ranked 30th against the run and that could open their passing up.The Dolphins won last week by 2 points against the Ravens without much offense and the team has failed to score more than 20 points in 6 straight games. They could only get 8 first downs last week and the team can't decide whether to run or pass. This game could hinge on the running game of the Giants against the passing of the Dolphins. Manning being the better QB gives the Giants the edge. Take the Giants |
