12-15-16 | Blazers v. Nuggets OVER 220.5 | Top | 120-132 | Win | 100 | 21 h 5 m | Show |
Top Rated 10* Blazers/Nuggets Total The Portland Trail Blazers picked up a 115-113 win at Denver on Oct. 29, and I think we'll see another high-scoring affair when the two teams do battle at Pepsi Center once again. Both teams are taking the "offense is the best defense" approach, and the over is 18-9 in Portland's games this season and 17-8 in Denver's. The Blazers shot 53.8 percent from the field in a 114-95 win against OKC on Tuesday while Denver allowed the lowly Mavericks to shoot 58.4 percent in a 112-92 loss at Dallas the day before. Over is 6-1 in the last seven meetings, and that's a trend I think will continue. |
|||||||
12-13-16 | Knicks v. Suns UNDER 220 | 111-113 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 34 m | Show
NBA Total The New York Knicks have won six of their last seven games, covering the spread in each victory. The lone setback during that stretch was a blowout loss against Cleveland, and even though the over is 3-1 in the Knicks' last four games I think we'll see a low-scoring affair when they visit the Phoenix Suns Tuesday night. The Under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings overall and 4-1 in the last five meetings in Phoenix, and that's with much lower totals than the number we see here today. |
|||||||
12-11-16 | Warriors v. Wolves UNDER 223 | 116-108 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 21 m | Show
NBA *HARDWOOD HAMMER TOTAL* The Golden State Warriors put up a very weak performance in Saturday's 110-89 setback at Memphis. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson each went 4-of-14 from the field and the team committed a season-high 23 turnovers. They travel to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves here the next day, and I don't think this will be an easy matchup for the Warriors. Point guard Ricky Rubio told reporters that the Timberwolves were "playing with no heart" following a 117-90 setback against Detroit on Friday. While that might be true, what about yourself Ricky? Either way, I think the Wolves will look at yesterday's result and smell weakness from the Warriors and really step it up here, especially on the defensive end of the court. Normally I would back the Warriors to bounce back here, but they're playing their fourth game in five nights and considering how they looked yesterday there might not be that much gas left in the tank. Under is 6-2 in Warriors last eight games playing on no rest, 11-4 in Warriors last 15 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400 and 14-6-1 in their last 21 Sunday games. Under is 6-2 in Timberwolves last eight vs. a team with a winning straight up record, and I think we'll see this game go under the total. |
|||||||
12-02-16 | Lakers v. Raptors UNDER 214 | 80-113 | Win | 100 | 12 h 38 m | Show
NBA *FRIDAY NIGHT TOTAL* The LA Lakers will visit the Toronto Raptors Friday night, and I think we'll see a relatively low-scoring affair. The Raptors knocked down 16 of 32 from long range and shot 55.1 percent from the field in a 120-105 win over the banged up Grizzlies on Wednesday. It's unrealistic to think that they'll make shots at the clip again and note that the Lakers are holding opponents to 33.9 percent shooting from behind the arc, the seventh best mark in the NBA. The Raptors always play solid D home at Air Canada Centre and the Lakers are still without second-year star D'Angelo Russell (knee). Under is 4-0 the Lakers last four games. |
|||||||
11-29-16 | Rockets v. Jazz OVER 202.5 | 101-120 | Win | 100 | 22 h 40 m | Show
NBA Bonus Play It's never easy to play on back-to-back nights, and that is particularly true when taking on an up-tempo offense like the Rockets. They rank fourth in the NBA for offensive efficiency and they're coming off a 130-114 win at Portland. Houston has won five of its last six games, scoring 111 points or more all but once and this looks like a good spot to take advantage of tired Utah legs. |
|||||||
11-23-16 | Blazers v. Cavs UNDER 217.5 | 125-137 | Loss | -118 | 16 h 44 m | Show
NBA 3-Pack The slumping Portland Trail Blazers have dropped four of their last five games, and they sure have their work cut out for them when visiting the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday. Portland ranks dead last in the league in defensive efficiency, but I think the total for this game is set way too high. Four of the last five meetings have gone under the total, each time with a much lower number than this. The lone over during that stretch was a 105-100 Cleveland win with the total set at 200 last December. The Cavs held the Pistons to 31.6% shooting from the field in a 104-81 rout on Friday. Under is 8-2 in the Cavaliers last 10 games playing on three or more days rest and 5-1 in Cavaliers last six games following a straight up win of more than 10 points. Portland is coming off a 107-103 loss at New York last night, and the under is 8-3 in Trail Blazers' last 11 games when their starting five players combine for more than 160 minutes on the previous day. |
|||||||
11-22-16 | Bulls v. Nuggets OVER 207.5 | Top | 107-110 | Win | 100 | 22 h 11 m | Show |
Top Rated 10* NBA *TOTAL OF THE WEEK* The Denver Nuggets host the Chicago Bulls Tuesday night. The under is 2-7 in the Bulls' nine games on the season, but I think we'll see a high-scoring affair flying over the set total here. The Bulls are coming off an impressive offensive effort in a 118-110 win at the Lakers on Sunday. Over is 13-3 in Bulls last 16 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400, while over is 4-1 in Denver's five games on the season when playing against a team with a winning record, and the over is 9-4 overall in games involving the Nuggets. Denver shut down Utah effectively in a 105-91 win on Sunday (over is 6-1 after Denver scored 105 points or more its last game), but this Chicago team is a completely different opponent. Jimmy Butler is red hot, fresh off a season-high 40 points, and Dwyane Wade should be back in the lineup after sitting out the last game. Over is 4-1 in the last five meetings and I expect points to come fast and easy for both teams. Take the over. |
|||||||
11-10-16 | Lakers v. Kings OVER 208.5 | 101-91 | Loss | -102 | 20 h 22 m | Show
NBA *HARDWOOD HAMMER* Two teams that are allowing plenty of points, particularly the Los Angeles Lakers who are surrendering 108.5 points per game but also scoring 108.6 points per game. The Lakers are pretty effective defending the three (2nd in the league), but they struggle in the paint and will have their hands full defending star center DeMarcus Cousins tonight. The Sacramento Kings allowed an average of 108.3 points during a four-game slide but have stepped up a notch defensively in recent games as they've held the Raptors and the Pelicans to an average of 92.5 points in back-to-back wins. I think the Lakers will find holes to exploit though, and both teams must fancy their chances of winning this game which should lead to a wide open high tempo affair. Over is 20-8-1 in the last 29 meetings at Golden 1 Center. |
|||||||
10-30-16 | Mavs v. Rockets OVER 216.5 | 92-93 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 55 m | Show
NBA *TEXAS TERROR* The Dallas Mavericks will visit the Houston Rockets for the back end of a home-and-home set between the two interstate rivals. The Rockets picked up a 106-98 victory at American Airlines Center on Friday, but I think we'll see more points in this contest. James Harden is adjusting to his role as point guard and he dished out a career-high 17 assists in a loss at the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday before handing out eight with 26 points against the Mavs two days later. Ryan Anderson, Trevor Ariza and Eric Gordon combined to go 9-of-14 from 3-point range in that game and I think they'll get plenty of good looks from the perimeter in this game. Dallas D has given up an average of 118 points through its first two games, but Harrison Barnes has slotted in nicely offensively with 25 points per game on 57 percent shooting. |
|||||||
10-30-16 | Wizards v. Grizzlies OVER 204 | 103-112 | Win | 100 | 9 h 56 m | Show
Wizards/Grizzlies Total The Washington Wizards will visit the Memphis Grizzlies Sunday night, and I think we'll see a high-scoring affair. Memphis is known as a solid, defensive team, but note that the Over is 14-3 in Grizzlies last 17 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400 and 6-2 in their last eight Sunday games. Over is 6-1 in the Wizards last seven overall and this is not a team focused on D what so ever. The Wizards fell 114-99 to the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday as John Wall finished 3-of-15 from the floor. Expect a big game from the point guard tonight to make up for that subpar performance. |
|||||||
10-29-16 | Celtics v. Hornets UNDER 205 | 104-98 | Win | 100 | 18 h 29 m | Show
Top Rated 10* NBA *HARDWOOD HAMMER* Total The Boston Celtics will visit the Charlotte Hornets in what should be a terrific Eastern Conference battle Saturday night. Under is 7-1 in the last eight meetings at Time Warner Cable Arena, and I predict another low-scoring affair. The Celtics opened the season with a 122-117 win against the Nets on Wednesday but played a much lower scoring game in a 105-99 setback at Chicago the very next day. Under is 13-3 in Celtics last 16 games playing on one days rest and 4-0 in their last four on the highway. The Hornets have opened the season with back-to-back wins following a 97-91 victory at Miami last night. They've looked solid on D in both their games and will surely be 100 percent focused here against another contender in the East. |
|||||||
10-27-16 | Clippers v. Blazers OVER 209 | 114-106 | Win | 100 | 19 h 7 m | Show
NBA *HARDWOOD HAMMER* The Portland Trail Blazers knocked out the injury-ridden Los Angeles Clippers in six games in the first round of the playoffs last spring. The Blazers opened the season with a 113-104 win against the Jazz on Tuesday, and I think we'll see another high-scoring encounter tonight. Over is 14-6-2 in the last 22 meetings at Moda Center, and both teams have extremely gifted backcourts that can make it rain from behind the arc. Portland went 13-of-19 from 3-point range and 22-of-22 from the free-throw line in the opening night win, and I think we'll see good efficiency from both teams. |
|||||||
10-27-16 | Spurs v. Kings UNDER 205.5 | 102-94 | Win | 100 | 11 h 45 m | Show
NBA Total The Sacramento Kings are coming straight off a dominant pounding 113-94 pounding of the Phoenix Suns 113-94 on Wednesday. They'll take on the San Antonio Spurs here the next day, and I think we'll see this game go under the total. The Spurs opened the season with a high-scoring victory at Golden State, but the under is 7-1 in Spurs last eight after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game and 18-6-1 in their last 25 games after scoring more than 125 points in their previous game. Their defense should be able to hold off the Kings who might have tired legs after last night's game, and the under is 5-1-1 in the last seven meetings in Sacramento. |
|||||||
06-08-16 | Warriors v. Cavs UNDER 205.5 | 90-120 | Loss | -103 | 22 h 44 m | Show
NBA *HARDWOOD HAMMER* None of the first two contests of the series was even close to reach the total, and the under is  9-3-1 in the last 13 head-to-head meetings. Golden State's D has completely shut down the Cavs, but I think Cleveland will step it up a notch defensively in front of the home fans tonight. They know they can't beat the Warriors in a shootout, so they need to keep this game tight and low-scoring. |
|||||||
05-25-16 | Raptors v. Cavs OVER 198.5 | 78-116 | Loss | -105 | 16 h 56 m | Show
NBA *HARDWOOD HAMMER* The Cleveland Cavaliers put up 115 and 108 points in the first two meeting of the series. They struggled with their shooting during the two losses north of the border but should be back to their best tonight. Toronto has found holes in the Cavs D to exploit and I think they'll find it relatively easy to put points on the board. Over is 8-3 in the Cavaliers last 11 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and 5-2 in the Raptors last seven overall. |
|||||||
05-22-16 | Warriors v. Thunder UNDER 220.5 | Top | 105-133 | Loss | -110 | 68 h 49 m | Show |
Top Rated Conference Finals *GAME OF THE YEAR* Each of the first two games of this Western Conference Finals series have gone under the total, and I think that will be the case tonight as well when the series shifts to Oklahoma City. The Thunder shown a vastly improved defense in the playoffs and the under is now 5-2 in Thunder's last seven overall. With the Warriors dropping the series-opener home at Oracle Arena they now need to regain home court advantage. They know the Thunder have plenty of offensive talent and I don't think either team want a shootout here which sets up a perfect spot for an under. |
|||||||
05-16-16 | Thunder v. Warriors UNDER 223.5 | Top | 108-102 | Win | 100 | 31 h 50 m | Show |
Top Rated NBA *BASKET BRAWLER* This is indeed two teams that rely on their offensive talent, but this total looks too inflated. The Thunder put up some good defensive performances in their Conference Semifinals series against the Spurs, and they know they have to bring the same intensity on the D to have a chance against Golden State. The Warriors won the three regular season meetings 116-108, 121-118 in OT and 121-106. This is the playoffs though, and I expect a low-scoring game in the Western Conference Final opener. |
|||||||
05-15-16 | Heat v. Raptors UNDER 189.5 | Top | 89-116 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 41 m | Show |
Top Rated NBA *BASKET BRAWLER* Under is 8-3 in Heat last 11 overall and 10-4 in Raptors last 14 overall. This is of course the deciding Game 7 of this Conference Semifinals series and both teams will make sure to make the most of every possession. That should lead to a low-tempo low-scoring game. Â |
|||||||
05-13-16 | Raptors v. Heat UNDER 189 | 91-103 | Loss | -102 | 6 h 2 m | Show
NBA Extra Play Under is 4-0 in Heat last four home games and 8-0 in Raptors last eight road games. This will surely be a defensive battle with Miami's postseason life on the line. |
|||||||
05-12-16 | Spurs v. Thunder UNDER 195.5 | Top | 99-113 | Loss | -100 | 20 h 4 m | Show |
Top Rated NBA *BASKET BRAWLER* The Oklahoma City Thunder can complete an upset and defeat the San Antonio Spurs to advance to the Western Conference Finals against the Warriors with a win tonight. Elimination games tend to be low-scoring contests, and I expect the Spurs to come out with a big defensive performance. Under is 4-0 in Spurs last four games following a straight up loss and 14-3 in Spurs last 17 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Under is 9-3 in the last 12 meetings in Oklahoma City and 6-2 in the last eight meetings overall. |
|||||||
05-10-16 | Thunder v. Spurs UNDER 199.5 | Top | 95-91 | Win | 100 | 19 h 51 m | Show |
Top Rated NBA *BASKET BRAWLER* The Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs enter Game 5 of this series tied at 2-2. The Spurs have allowed the Thunder to dictate the pace of the games so far, but I don't think that will be the case home at AT&T Center tonight. The Spurs can simply not afford to drop another home game, and I expect them to turn the intensity up a notch in defense to stop Kevin Durant who was allowed to put up 41 points in Sunday's 111-97 Thunder win in OKC. Under is 6-2 in Thunder last eight vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Under is 5-1 in Spurs last six home games and 4-1 in Spurs last five games following a straight up loss. |
|||||||
05-09-16 | Raptors v. Heat UNDER 190 | Top | 87-94 | Win | 100 | 19 h 21 m | Show |
Top Rated NBA Playoffs Round 2 *TOTAL OF THE YEAR* The Toronto Raptors have a 2-1 lead in the series after a 95-91 win here at Miami on Saturday. Under is 9-2 in Raptors' last 11 overall and 7-1 in Heat's last eight, and I thnk this clash will stay under the total. Both teams will have to do without their starting center as Miami's Hassan Whiteside and Toronto's Jonas Valanciunas won't square off anymore in this Eastern Conference semifinal series. Offensive rebounds will now come at a premium for both teams, which should slow down the tempo as a lost possession could prove extremely costly. |
|||||||
05-08-16 | Cavs v. Hawks UNDER 204 | 100-99 | Win | 100 | 4 h 0 m | Show
NBA |
|||||||
05-03-16 | Heat v. Raptors UNDER 191 | Top | 102-96 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 2 m | Show |
Top Rated 10* NBA *BASKET BRAWLER* Each of the Heat's last five and seven of the Raptors' last eight have gone under the total, and I definitely think tonight's Eastern Conference Semifinals opener between the two teams will stay under. The Heat are putting up plenty of points home in Miami but they're averaging close to four points fewer in their road games than at home. Hassan Whiteside has been an absolute beast defensively so far in the playoffs and Toronto struggled to get its offense going against Indiana. The Raptors scrapped past the seventh-seeded Pacers despite terrible shooting slumps from Lowry (31.6 percent from the field in the series) and DeRozan (31.9), and they won't get any easy looks tonight. |
|||||||
05-02-16 | Thunder v. Spurs OVER 202.5 | Top | 98-97 | Loss | -105 | 31 h 55 m | Show |
Top Rated NBA *LATE SHOW* The San Antonio Spurs put up a spectacular offensive performances when they rolled to a 124-92 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the opener of their Western Conference Semifinal on Saturday. Over is 7-2 in Thunder's last nine after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game, and I think we'll see Monday's encounter fly over the total too. Only Golden State finished the regular-season with a better offensive efficiency (the number of points a team scores per 100 possessions) than the Spurs and the Thunder, and while San Antonio is usually playing at a slow pace, that kind of goes out the window when playing a team like OKC which style is inviting high-tempo games. John Aldridge scored 38 points Saturday despite logging fewer than 30 minutes, and Tony Parker had 12 assists after averaging just 4.8 during the first-round series sweep of the Memphis Grizzlies. Both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook struggled and combined for just 30 points, but the Thunder still reached 92 points. I expect more points from the duo tonight and an even higher score for OKC. |
|||||||
04-25-16 | Clippers v. Blazers UNDER 206.5 | Top | 84-98 | Win | 100 | 21 h 26 m | Show |
Western Conf Round 1 *GAME OF THE YEAR* The Portland Trail Blazers will be looking to tie up Western Conference Quarterfinals series Monday night. They won Saturday's meeting 96-88 here in Portland, and I think we're in for another low-scoring encounter. The opening game of this series saw a total of 220 points scored, but both teams have played terrific defense since with just an average of 183.5 points per game in the last two. Under is 5-1 in Clippers last six overall and 5-0 in Trail Blazers last five overall. Under is 8-2 in Trail Blazers last 10 home games. "You just have to bring more energy," Clippers forward Blake Griffin told the team's official website after Saturday's defeat. "They outhustled us, they were better on the glass, they got the 50-50 balls, they had more energy, they flew around. They executed their game plan." I expect the Clippers to show better intensity on D tonight while Portland should keep up its hustle in front of the home fans. Very low chance of this game reaching the set total IMO. Game of the Year material for sure, and I'm firing a BIG BET! |
|||||||
04-24-16 | Warriors v. Rockets UNDER 217.5 | Top | 121-94 | Win | 100 | 14 h 8 m | Show |
Top Rated NBA *BASKET BRAWLER* Only one of the previous three games in this series have gone over 200 points, but we still see an extremely high total for Sunday's matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets. I think this will be another game in the series staying under the total. Houston pulled a big upset with a 97-96 win Thursday. The Warriors Stephen Curry sat out that game with an ankle injury, and even if he does play today the ankle is sure to bother him. Under is 6-0 in Warriors last six road games and 6-1 in Rockets last seven games following a straight up win. Under is 11-5 in the last 16 meetings in Houston. |
|||||||
04-22-16 | Hawks v. Celtics UNDER 200.5 | 103-111 | Loss | -105 | 20 h 7 m | Show
NBA Low-scoring games have been the trend so far in the NBA playoffs this year, and I expect that to hold true in Friday's meeting between the Atlanta Hawks and the Boston Celtics at TD Garden. The under is 4-0 in the Hawks last four overall and 10-4 in Celtics last 14 overall. Boston will be without its second-leading scorer Avery Bradley who is out with a hamstring injury which will hamper their offense, particularly as Marcus Smart suffered bruised ribs in Game 2 Neither team shot over 40 percent in Game 2 and Boston was a pathetic 28-of-88 from the field and 5-of-28 from behind the arc. |
|||||||
04-22-16 | Cavs v. Pistons UNDER 200.5 | 101-91 | Win | 100 | 19 h 7 m | Show
NBA The Detroit Pistons gave the Cleveland Cavaliers a scare in Game 1 of the series but the Cavs still managed to grind out a win. They showed their class in Game 2 when they held the Pistons to 90 points on 43.6 percent shooting from the field, 23.5 percent from behind the arc, and I think the Cavs will come out focused on a solid defensive performance at the Palace tonight. Under is 4-1 in both the Cavaliers and the Pistons last five Conference Quarterfinals games and 4-1 in Pistons last five home games. Detroit is virtually in a must-win situation as a loss here would all but book the Cavs spot in the next round, and I can see them making this game as ugly as possible to try and eek out a win. |
|||||||
04-20-16 | Blazers v. Clippers UNDER 209 | 81-102 | Win | 100 | 11 h 33 m | Show
NBA *LATE SHOW* The Los Angeles Clippers coasted to a 115-95 victory in the series opener behind 28 points and 11 assists from Chris Paul, but I think we'll see fewer points tonight. The under is 4-0 in the last four meetings in Los Angeles and Portland will come into this game playing lockdown defense already trailing a game in the series. Under is 4-0 in Trail Blazers last four games following a straight up loss and under is 22-5 in Clippers last 27 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game. |
|||||||
04-19-16 | Celtics v. Hawks UNDER 205.5 | Top | 72-89 | Win | 100 | 17 h 11 m | Show |
Top Rated NBA Total |

04-17-16 | Blazers v. Clippers UNDER 207.5 | 95-115 | Loss | -103 | 70 h 49 m | Show
NBAÂ |
|||||||
04-16-16 | Rockets v. Warriors UNDER 225.5 | 78-104 | Win | 100 | 39 h 55 m | Show
NBA Total There is always a risk of playing an under with two such high-scoring teams as the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors, but the nature of playoff games and the extremely high number makes me believe we'll see this one stay under the total. Golden State just finished up the best regular-season in NBA history and the chase for the record provided the Warriors with a playoff-style environment the past few weeks. I think that despite coming off two days of rest since a 125-104 win against Memphis in the season-finale, Steve Kerr must realize he and the team have a long postseason ahead of them. I don't think the Warriors will have to put in that much of an effort to beat the Rockets and they'll be happy to drag down the tempo to save energy once they've established a comfortable lead.  The Warriors allowed just 101.9 points per game home at Oracle Arena during the regular-season and the under is 6-2 in Warriors last eight Saturday games. Under is 5-1 in Rockets last six road games. |
|||||||
04-11-16 | Hornets v. Celtics UNDER 208.5 | 114-100 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 15 m | Show
NBA *HARDWOOD HAMMER* I like the Charlotte Hornets to cover the spread in a low-scoring game. The Hornets will be looking to bounce back from a 113-98 loss at Washington on Sunday, and they're 5-1 ATS in their last six games playing on no rest and 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points. The Celtics are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall and the Hornets are 12-5-1 ATS in the last 18 meetings in Boston. With both teams battling for homecourt advantage for the playoffs this game will have a playoff like atmosphere and I think we'll see a defensive battle. Â |
|||||||
04-08-16 | Nets v. Hornets UNDER 206 | 99-113 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 17 m | Show
NBA *HARDWOOD HAMMER* The Charlotte Hornets had suffered back-to-back losses before defeating the Knicks 111-97 Wednesday. They remain in the race for the No. 3 spot in the Eastern Conference and will definitely play to beat the Nets here. That means limiting Brooklyn's offense, which shouldn't be that big of a task anyway. The Nets have shut down veteran frontcourt players Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young which hurt their offense big time. Under is 5-2 in Nets last seven road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 4-1 in Hornets last five home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. |
|||||||
04-07-16 | Spurs v. Warriors UNDER 210 | Top | 101-112 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 48 m | Show |
Top Rated Western Conf Total *GAME OF THE YEAR* The San Antonio Spurs and the Golden State Warriors will square off twice in the last week of the season. The Warriors will play host Thursday night, and I think points will be hard to come by for both teams. The under is 4-0 in the last four meetings in the series and the Spurs won the most recent matchup 87-79 on March 19. They were zoned in on defense in Tuesday's 88-86 win at Utah and you can always count on Gregg Popovich's team to play hard on defense. The Warriors will be looking to bounce back from their second home loss in three games with losses against Boston and Minnesota. We can note that teh under is 6-1 in the Warriors last seven games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 5-2 in Warriors last seven after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game, which they did in Tuesday's 124-117 OT loss against the Wolves. I don't see either coach being particularly interested in giving away their offensive gameplan but will save that for the playoffs, so we should see two pretty stale offenses. |
|||||||
04-06-16 | Pelicans v. Celtics UNDER 208.5 | Top | 97-104 | Win | 100 | 20 h 33 m | Show |
Top Rated NBA Total The New Orleans Pelicans will visit the Boston Celtics Wednesday night. The under is 13-3 in the last 16 meetings in Boston, and this total looks a bit high to me. The injury-ridden Pels had only starter averaging more than 7.6 points in yesterday's 107-93 loss to the 76ers. Under is  21-6 in Pelicans last 27 games playing on no rest and 9-0 in Pelicans last nine vs. a team with a winning straight up record. We can also note that 26 of New Orleans' 38 road games this season have stayed under the total. The Celtics are off a pair of wins against two very different teams, as they handed the Warriors a 109-106 loss Friday followed by a 107-100 win at Lakers Sunday. They're back home after a lengthy road trip and we can note that the under is  8-1 in Celtics last nine home games following a road trip of seven or more days and 6-1 in Celtics last seven overall. |

04-05-16 | Thunder v. Nuggets UNDER 216.5 | 124-102 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 24 m | Show
NBA Total The over is 5-1 in the past six meetings between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Denver Nuggets, but I think tonight's contest will stay under the total. OKC blew yet another fourth-quarter lead in Sunday's 118-110 defeat at Houston, the 13th time that has happened this season. Such performances are obviously a big no-no in the playoffs, and I think we'll see the Thunder focus on shoring up their defense here in the last regular season games. They'll probably like the fact that the Nuggets have been abysmal in the fourth quarter in their last two, totaling 35 points on 26.7 percent shooting, including 2 of 16 from 3-point range. The Nuggets have not been much of an offensive threat lately overall and the under is 4-1-1 in their last six games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. |
|||||||
04-03-16 | Wizards v. Clippers UNDER 207.5 | Top | 109-114 | Loss | -105 | 14 h 37 m | Show |
NBA Top Rated Total The Washington Wizards are still playing hard as they're within striking distance of the East's No. 8 seed. They're off a 106-99 win at Phoenix Friday and the under is 6-2 in Wizards last eight games following a straight up win and 6-2 in Wizards last eight after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. "When we play defense and we're locked in, we're a totally different team," John Wall said after the game against the Suns. "It's the end of the season, there's only six games left, but that's something we've been preaching all year."  The Clippers' reserves came oh so close to defeat the Thunder Thursday but they ended up a 119-117 loser in the end. Starters  Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan and J.J. Redick plus Blake Griffin will all likely play today, which should benefit the Clippers' D. Under is 5-1 in the Clippers last six overall and 18-5 in their last 23 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. The Wizards have struggled in previous meetings with the Clippers as a 108-91 loss in Washington on Dec. 28 marked the 12 loss in the last 14 of this series. We should see another low-scoring encounter today. |
|||||||
04-02-16 | Pacers v. 76ers UNDER 203.5 | Top | 115-102 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 54 m | Show |
Top Rated NBA Total The Indiana Pacers have averaged just 95 points per game over a pair of home losses to Chicago and Orlando. Under is 7-1 in Pacers last eight games following a straight up loss and 5-1 in their last six overall. They fell 114-94 to the Magic Thursday and the under is 17-5 in their last 22 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points. The pathetic Philadelphia 76ers are losers of 11 straight and are off a 100-91 defeat at Charlotte last night. They've averaged 88 points in their last two games and struggle offensively without big men Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel - both sidelined with knee injuries. Indiana has won eight of nine meetings, limiting the 76ers to an average of 78 points in the last three. They defeated Philly 91-75 at home on March 21 and we should see another low-scoring affair tonight. |
|||||||
04-01-16 | Wizards v. Suns UNDER 215 | Top | 106-99 | Win | 100 | 22 h 10 m | Show |
Top Rated NBA Total The Washington Wizards have lost four of their last five to drop three games behind the No. 8 seed in the East. They've been struggling defensively lately, but should have little to fear from a Phoenix Suns team that shot 5-for-24 from 3-point range in Wednesday's 105-94 loss at Milwaukee. The under is 7-2 in Suns the last nine overall and 5-1 in their last six following a straight up loss of more than 10 points. The under is 4-0 in Wizards last four road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400 and 9-6 in a road game where the total is greater than or equal to 210 this season. John Wall has been just shooting 36.5 percent in the first three of a five-game trip and has gone 8-for-30 in the last two games for 22 points. Under is 5-0-1 in the last six meetings and 4-0 in the last four meetings in Phoenix. |

03-31-16 | Nuggets v. Pelicans UNDER 209.5 | 95-101 | Win | 100 | 10 h 4 m | Show
NBA 3-Pack The Denver Nuggets won 109-105 at Memphis last night while the New Orleans Pelicans fell 100-92 at San Antonio. With both teams on the back-end of a back-to-back, I expect a low-scoring contest. The under is 20-6 in the Pels last 26 games playing on no rest and 12-4 in the last 16 meetings in New Orleans. Denver is still alive in the playoff race thanks to last night's win, and it'll play hard on defense. New Orleans' biggest offensive threats in Anthony Davis, Tyreke Evans and Jrue Holiday are all out for the rest of the season. |
|||||||
03-31-16 | Nets v. Cavs UNDER 211 | 87-107 | Win | 100 | 11 h 58 m | Show
NBA Total The Cleveland Cavaliers have lost two of their last three and fell 104-95 at Brooklyn a week ago. LeBron James was rested in Tuesday's 106-100 home loss against the Rockets, but he'll be back on the floor tonight. The Nets are off a very high-scoring contest when they lost 139-105 at Orlando two days ago. The under is 5-2 in their last seven games after allowing more than 125 points in their previous game and 4-0 in their last four games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. We can also note that the under is 6-2 in the Cavs last eight when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game and 4-0 in their last four vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Under is 11-5 in the last 16 meetings in Cleveland and 4-0 in the last four meetings overall. Cleveland will be looking to revenge last week's defeat, and since it lacks any kind of team chemistry right now it'll have to do it by playing solid defense. |
|||||||
03-30-16 | Warriors v. Jazz UNDER 204.5 | 103-96 | Win | 100 | 19 h 1 m | Show
NBA Total The Golden State Warriors are off a 102-94 win against Washington last night, a game that went well under the total. The total is set a lot lower for today's matchup against the Utah Jazz, but I'm backing the under in this contest too. The under is 5-1 in the Warriors last six overall and 5-1 in their last six when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game. That is the case here as the Jazz are off a 123-75 blowout win against the Lakers Monday. Worth noting though that the under is 5-0 in the Jazz last five after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. Utah is allowing just 92.7 points per game home at Vivint Smart Home Arena this season and the team is playing at the slowest pace in the NBA with only 93.4 possessions per game. Golden State won't push the tempo in the back-end of a back-to-back situation. Under is 19-7-2 in the last 28 meetings. |
|||||||
03-29-16 | Wizards v. Warriors UNDER 227 | 94-102 | Win | 100 | 13 h 50 m | Show
NBA The Golden State Warriors are seeking to beat the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ regular-season record of 72 wins, and I would not bet against them failing. They also have to take the postseason into consideration though, and we're likely to see Steve Kerr rest his key players whenever possible. The over is 41-31-1 in games involving Golden State this season, but the under is 4-1 in its last five overall and I expect to see some lower scoring Warriors games here near the end of the season. The Washington Wizards are playing hard as they're trying to make it to the playoffs, and they put up a solid defensive performance when they held the Lakers to 37.9 percent shooting in a 101-88 win Sunday. The Lakers are obviously, no Warriors, but it was a step in the right direction and we can note that the under is 5-2 in the Wizards last seven following a straight up win. With a game at Utah tomorrow I don't see the Warriors push the pace too much, and Washington will be happy to keep this a tight close game hoping to snatch a win in the end.  |
|||||||
03-29-16 | Rockets v. Cavs UNDER 212 | Top | 106-100 | Win | 100 | 11 h 2 m | Show |
Top Rated Total The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Houston Rockets 91-77 on Jan. 15 in the most recent meeting in the series. LeBron James contributed with 19 points and seven assists, but the Cavs superstar will be rested for tonight's contest. The under is 12-3-1 in Cavs games without LeBron since the start of the 2014/2015 season and I think this one will stay under the total as well. The Rockets will be looking to bounce back from a 104-101 loss at Indiana Sunday and they enter play Tuesday tied with the Mavs for the last playoff spot in the West, holding the tie-breaker. The under is 4-1 in the Rockets last five overall and 4-1 in their last five road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. The Cavs have been without offensive chemistry for quite some time, and I don't see how the loss of LeBron will help that. The Rockets will like their chances of picking up an important win and will play hard on D. We can also note that the under is 5-0 in Rockets' games as a road underdog of three points or less this season. |
|||||||
03-28-16 | Celtics v. Clippers UNDER 209 | 90-114 | Win | 100 | 22 h 8 m | Show
NBA The Los Angeles Clippers are coming off a pair of home wins against Portland and Denver, the most recent a 105-90 victory over the Nuggets last night. The under is 10-4 in their last 14 games playing on no rest and 12-4 in their last 16 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. The Boston Celtics are riding a four-game winning streak fueled by solid defensive performances and Boston leads the league in 3-point defense this season at 32.6 percent. The under is 4-1 in the Celtics last five overall. Under is 4-1 in Celtic road games where the total is between 205 and 209.5 points this season and 6-2 in Clippers home game with the total in the same span. |
|||||||
03-28-16 | Mavs v. Nuggets OVER 214 | 97-88 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 37 m | Show
NBA The Dallas Mavericks are allowing a league-worst 112.3 points per game since Feb. 5 and 124.0 per game over their past five. Their hopes of making the playoffs suffered another blow last night when they fell 133-111 at Sacramento for their 10th loss in 12 games. The over is 4-1 in the Mavs last five playing on no rest and 13-5 in their last 18 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. The Nuggets are also coming off a loss last night when they fell 105-90 to the Clippers at LA. The over is 6-1 in Denver's last seven playing on no rest and 18-7-1 in their last 26 home games. Over is 15-8 in the Mavs games versus poor defensive teams that are allowing 99+ points/game in the 2nd half of the season and 33-16 in Denver games versus poor defensive teams that are allowing 99+ points/game for the season. |
|||||||
03-27-16 | 76ers v. Warriors UNDER 226 | Top | 105-117 | Win | 100 | 18 h 34 m | Show |
Top Rated Total The Golden State Warriors need to win eight of their final 10 games to finish 73-9, which would mark the best season in NBA history. The Philadelphia 76ers should be an easy obstacle to get past Sunday night. The Sixers are the lowest scoring team in the NBA with a 97.0 average and they'll be without their leading scorer Jahlil Okafor for this contest. The under is 5-1 in their last six overall and we can note that the under is 5-1 in 76ers last six after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game and they're off a 108-105 loss at Portland last night. The Warriors are the highest scoring team in the NBA with a 115.4 points per game average, but the under is 6-2 in their last eight vs. a team with a winning % below .400. and 4-1 in the last five meetings with Philly. They won 108-105 at Philadelphia on Jan. in the only previous meeting this season and I think they'll be more concerned about maintaining good energy levels rather than blow away the Sixers. |
|||||||
03-26-16 | Hornets v. Bucks UNDER 204.5 | 115-91 | Loss | -105 | 21 h 35 m | Show
NBA 3-Pack This looks like a great spot to back the Charlotte Hornets to bounce back from a 112-105 defeat to Detroit last night. They're 6-2 ATS in their last eight games following a ATS loss and still battling for fourth place in the East. A win would distance themselves from the Bulls who are 4 1/2 games back at ninth place in the conference. The Bucks shot 41.7 percent in a 101-90 loss in Atlanta on Friday, their fourth consecutive loss and they've averaged just 90.0 points in their last three home games. Charlotte has won eight of 11 on the road, has won four straight visits to Milwaukee (4-0 ATS) and claimed a 98-95 victory there Feb. 19. The under is 4-0 in the Bucks last four home games and 5-1 in their last six overall. The under is 5-2 in the Hornets last seven overall and 5-2 in their last seven following a straight up loss. Under is 4-0 in the last four meetings. |
|||||||
03-26-16 | Hawks v. Pistons OVER 203.5 | 112-95 | Win | 100 | 20 h 35 m | Show
NBA 3-Pack The Detroit Pistons have impressed offensively lately averaging 110.4 points during a five-game winning streak. They're off a 112-105 win against Charlotte last night and the over is 4-0 in Detroit's last four games playing on back-to-back nights. We can alsonote that the over is 5-1 in the Pistons last six overall and 10-4 in their last 14 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. 23 of their 36 games home at the Palace this season have gone over the total. The Atlanta Hawks are off a solid defensive performance in a 101-90 win against Milwaukee last night, but the over is 6-1 in the Hawks' last seven games playing on no rest and 4-0 in the last four meetings with Detroit. They won 118-114 on March 16 their last visit to the Palace and this should be another high-scoring encounter between the two Eastern Conference rivals. |
|||||||
03-24-16 | Pelicans v. Pacers UNDER 207.5 | 84-92 | Win | 100 | 9 h 21 m | Show
NBA Total The New Orleans Pelicans have been involved in several high-scoring games this season, but the under is 23-11-1 in their 35 games on the road and with Anthony Davis out for the season they're likely to struggle when on the ball. The Indiana Pacers have seen the total go under in four of their last five overall and 5-2 in their last seven games following a straight up win of more than 10 points. They played solid defense in a 91-75 drubbing of the hapless Philadelphia 76ers in on Monday. The under is 12-5-1 in the last 18 meetings in Indiana and 5-1 in the last six meetings overall. |

03-20-16 | Celtics v. 76ers UNDER 215 | 120-105 | Loss | -105 | 3 h 50 m | Show
NBA Total The Boston Celtics has dropped five of their last six overall and four straight, averaging only 99 points on 40.6 percent shooting during the skid. The Sixers have lost four straight and 17 or their last 18 and this is a team that is averaging only 97.1 points per game this season. Under is 7-3 in the Celtics last 10 overall and 4-1 in their last five vs. Eastern Conference teams. Kelly Olynyk is 3-of-14 from the field in two games since returning from a shoulder injury. Boston needs a win but I don't think it'll go for a high-scoring blowout win with a matchup against Orlando home at TD Garden on deck tomorrow. Philly has given up on the season since long and won't push the tempo. |
|||||||
03-20-16 | Blazers v. Mavs OVER 213 | Top | 120-132 | Win | 100 | 15 h 59 m | Show |
Top Rated *TOTAL AFTERNOON APOCALYPSE* The Portland Trail Blazers are off a 117-112 win at New Orleans on Friday but they've lost six of their last nine games while giving up an average of 115 points in that span. The over is 7-1 in Portland's last eight overall and 10-2 in its last 12 games following a straight up win. The Dallas Mavericks got smoked by the Golden State Warriors in a 130-112 loss on Friday and over 10-4 in the Mavs last 14 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game and 12-5 in their last 17 overall. Dallas took the first meeting this season 115-112 in overtime at Portland on Dec. 1. Over is 11-5 in the last 16 meetings overall and 7-1 in the last eight meetings in Dallas. |
|||||||
03-19-16 | Cavs v. Heat UNDER 210 | Top | 101-122 | Loss | -123 | 18 h 60 m | Show |
Top Rated Total I expect to see a low-scoring contest when the Miami Heat entertain the Cleveland Cavaliers Saturday. Cleveland is on a roll with eight victories in its last 10 games, the most recent a 109-103 win in Orlando last night. The under is 9-4 in the Cavs last 13 games playing on no days rest and 4-0 in their last four road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. The Heat are a solid 22-13 SU at home this season and the under is 7-2 in the Heat's last nine home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600. We can also note that the under is 22-13 when playing against a team with a winning record this season and 27-20 versus good offensive teams - scoring 99+ points/game. There's no love lost between these to two teams and both sides will play hard on defense. |
|||||||
03-18-16 | Wolves v. Rockets OVER 223.5 | Top | 111-116 | Win | 100 | 14 h 17 m | Show |
NBA TOTAL OF THE WEEK I would be extremely surprised if Friday night's matchup between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Houston Rockets don't go over the total. The Rockets are off a 122-106 loss to the Clippers Wednesday and each of their last four games have seen at least 224 points. The over is 6-0 in their last six games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points and 5-1 in their last six after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. The Timberwolves won 114-108 at Memphis Wednesday and the over is 9-2 in in their last 11 games following a straight up win and 19-6-1 in their last 26 overall. We can also note that the over is 11-2 in Minnesota's 13 matchups against against Southwest division opponents this season. Over is 4-0 in the last four meetings in Houston and 7-0 in the last seven meetings. We have a high total today, but I still think this one will fly over as well. |
|||||||
03-15-16 | Celtics v. Pacers UNDER 207.5 | 98-103 | Win | 100 | 18 h 60 m | Show
NBA *TOTAL OF THE DAY* I think we'll see a low-scoring encounter when the Eastern Conference foes the Boston Celtics and the Indiana Pacers clash at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Tuesday night. The Celtics have lost two of their last three but controlled Houston's offense pretty well in a 102-98 loss Friday. The under is 5-2 in their last seven overall and 1-3 in road games where where the total is between 205 and 209.5 points this season. The Pacers shot 37.9 percent and hit 5-of-24 from 3-point range in a 104-75 loss at Atlanta Sunday. Under is 16-5 in their last 21 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points and 5-1 in in their last six vs. Eastern Conference teams. Under is 15-5-1 in the last 21 meetings overall and 6-1-1 in the last eight meetings in Indiana. None of the previous three meetings this season reached 200 points. |
|||||||
03-13-16 | Pacers v. Hawks UNDER 197 | 75-104 | Win | 100 | 10 h 31 m | Show
NBA *TOTAL THRASHER* Pretty low total here, but these are two teams more than capable of playing lock down defense. The Hawks have won six of their last eight while giving up only 89.8 points per contest. They defeated the Grizzlies 95-83 yesterday as they held their opponent to just 34.7 percent shooting. The Pacers have won four of their last five holding three of the opponents to 100 points or fewer. The under is 5-1 in the Pacers last six road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 4-1 in their last five vs. Eastern Conference. With the teams jostling sixth and seventh in the conference this will surely be a tough defensive battle. The under is 7-2 in the last nine meetings at Philips Arena and the previous three meetings overall this season have seen an average of 193.6 points. |
|||||||
03-11-16 | Knicks v. Clippers UNDER 203.5 | 94-101 | Win | 100 | 23 h 41 m | Show
NBA Totals 3-Pack The New York Knicks are coming into this contest as winners of two of their last three. They've allowed just 98.7 points per game in that span which is a huge improvement defensively. They're off a 128-97 win at Phoenix two days ago, and the under is 7-2 in the Knicks last nine games after scoring more than 125 points in their previous game and 6-1 in their last seven vs. a team with a winning straight up record. The Los Angeles Clippers lost 120-108 at Oklahoma City Wednesday, but we should see a much better defensive performance tonight. The under is 14-2 in the Clippers last 16 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game and 15-6 in their last 21 overall. Under is 6-1 in the last seven head-to-head meetings. |
|||||||
03-11-16 | Wolves v. Thunder OVER 223 | 99-96 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 12 m | Show
NBA Totals 3-Pack Both the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Oklahoma City Thunder are teams that are putting more focus on their offense than their defense. Minnesota has among the worst defensive efficiency marks in the NBA giving up 107.3 points per 100 possessions while OKC has the second best offensive efficiency at 109.7 points scored per 100 possessions. Over is 7-0 in the Timberwolves last seven games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 16-4-1 in their last 21 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. They lost 116-91 against the Spurs Tuesday. The Thunder are off a revenge game against the Clippers Wednesday, a contest they won 120-108. Over is 9-2 in Thunder last 11 games playing on one days rest and 7-3-1 in the last 11 meetings with the Wolves in Oklahoma City. |
|||||||
03-11-16 | Nets v. 76ers OVER 211.5 | 89-95 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 12 m | Show
NBA Totals 3-Pack The Brooklyn Nets are off a pair of road losses at Minnesota and Toronto. The over is 9-2 in the Nets last 11 games following a straight up loss and 5-1 in their last six Friday night games. We can also note that the over is 12-5 versus poor defensive teams allowing 99+ points/game so far in the 2nd half of the season and 15-8 when playing against a team with a losing record on the season. The 76ers have lost 13 straight, giving up 100 points or more in each of the last 12. Over is 5-1 in the 76ers last six overall, 19-7 in their last 26 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and 26-17 for the season against poor defensive teams that are allowing 99+ points/game. None of the last eight meetings in the series have gone over, but that's a trend I expect to be snapped off tonight. |
|||||||
03-10-16 | Hawks v. Raptors UNDER 200.5 | Top | 96-104 | Win | 100 | 6 h 47 m | Show |
Top Rated NBA Total The Toronto Raptors defeated the Atlanta Hawks 96-86 at Atlanta on Dec. 2, and I think we'll see another low-scoring contest tonight. Atlanta has allowed 86.5 points per game in regulation while winning five of six overall and the under is 5-1 in that span. Under is 23-15 when Atlanta is facing a good offensive teams - scoring 99+ points/game this season. The Raptors have won 13 of their last 14 home games and they're allowing only 97.8 points per game home at Air Canada Centre this season. These two Eastern Conference rivals will play each other hard on defense, and points won't come easy for either team. |
|||||||
03-09-16 | Jazz v. Warriors OVER 207 | Top | 94-115 | Win | 100 | 20 h 4 m | Show |
Top Rated NBA Total It can be a risky proposition to back the under in games where the Utah Jazz are involved, but I think the total is set too low when they visit the Golden State Warriors Wednesday night. The Jazz are coming off a 91-84 home loss to the Atlanta Hawks yesterday and the over is 4-1 in Jazz last 5 games playing on 0 days rest, 5-2 in their last seven games when their starting five players combine for more than 160 minutes on the previous day and 9-2 in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Warriors are a perfect 27-0 SU at home and they're still playing extremely hard in front of the home fans to make sure to stay undefeated. The over is 4-0 in Warriors last four home games vs. a team with a losing road record and 10-5 as a home favorite of 12.5 or more points on the season. |

03-07-16 | Kings v. Pelicans OVER 220 | 112-115 | Win | 100 | 20 h 55 m | Show
NBA 3-Pack Neither the Sacramento Kings or the New Orleans Pelicans are known for their defensive prowess, and I think we'll see a wide open run-and-gun game of basketball at Smoothie King Center Monday night. The Kings have lost five of their last six, giving up an average of 110.8 ppg in that span. The over is 11-5 in their last 16 overall and 9-2 in Kings last 11 games following a straight up loss, which they are coming off a 104-94 loss at San Antonio Saturday. The Pels are off four consecutive losses, the most recent a 106-94 setback against Utah Saturday. The over is 6-2-1 in the Pelicans last nine games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points and 7-1 in a home game where the total is greater than or equal to 210 this season. Over is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings in New Orleans. |

03-07-16 | Spurs v. Pacers UNDER 196.5 | 91-99 | Win | 100 | 19 h 55 m | Show
NBA 3-Pack The San Antonio Spurs are coming into this game trying for a ninth consecutive win. They've built their winning streak on phenomenal defense holding opponents to an average of 93.6 ppg and an even lower 87.5 ppg through the last six. Under is 6-0 in Spurs last six overall and 4-1 in the last five meetings in Indiana. The Pacers are back home from a 2-2 road trip. They defeated the Wizards 100-99 Saturday and the under is 4-1 in the Pacers last five after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game and 9-3 in their last 12 vs. a team with a winning % above .600. |

03-06-16 | Blazers v. Pistons OVER 206.5 | Top | 103-123 | Win | 100 | 17 h 25 m | Show |
Top Rated Total The Detroit Pistons are coming off a pair of lackluster offensive performances and lost 102-89 to the Knicks at New York last night. I think we'll see fireworks tonight though as they host the Portland Trail Blazers. The over is 8-1 in the last nine meetings in the series and the previous meeting this season saw the Pistons win 120-103 at Portland back in November. The Blazers are coming off a pair of high-scoring defeats at Boston and Toronto and the over is 8-3 in their last 11 overall. C.J. McCollum is 9-of-13 from 3-point range in the last three games and his backcourt companion Damian Lillard joined Steph Curry as one of only two players in the league with multiple 50-point performances this season as he went off for 50 in Friday's 117-115 setback at Toronto. |

03-06-16 | Mavs v. Nuggets OVER 210 | 114-116 | Win | 100 | 15 h 33 m | Show
NBA 3-Pack I have the Dallas Mavericks to win a high-scoring encounter as they host the Denver Nuggets Sunday afternoon. The Mavs are off a 104-101 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Thursday but I expect a better offensive output from them today. The over is 9-1 in the Mavs last 10 overall and they're 9-4 ATS in their last 13 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400. They're 9-2 ATS in their last 11 Sunday games. The Nuggets are off a 121-120 in overtime to the Brooklyn Nets on Friday and the over is 6-2 in their last eight overall. They're 2-6 ATS in that span and 2-7 ATS in the last nine when hosting the Mavs. Over is 5-2 in the last seven meetings in the series and 6-2 in the last eight meetings in Denver. The Mavs will have an extremely tough schedule in the upcoming weeks and they can't afford to give up a win against a sub-.500 team and to beat Denver they need to put up plenty of points. |

03-03-16 | Kings v. Mavs OVER 220 | 104-101 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 20 m | Show
NBA I think the Dallas Mavericks will win a high-scoring contest when they host the Sacramento Kings Thursday night. The Kings are losers of four straight, the most recent a 104-98 setback at Mephis last night as they kicked off a four-game road trip. They're a pathetic 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games overall and 1-8 ATS in their last 9 road games. The Mavs are playing well right now and coming off a day of rest since they recorded a third consecutive win with a 121-108 victory against Orlando Tuesday. They're a perfect 4-0 ATS in their last four games playing on one days rest and 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. The over is 8-2 in the Kings last 10 overall and 10-1 in the Mavs last 11 and Dallas is coming off three straight wins with at least 120 points scored. Sacramento is averaging 107.5 ppg on the road this season while conceding 111.2 ppg and Dallas is scoring a healthy 105.4 ppg home at American Airlines Center. Over is 14-5 in the last 19 meetings in Dallas. |

03-01-16 | Nets v. Lakers UNDER 211.5 | 101-107 | Win | 100 | 21 h 6 m | Show
NBA 3-Pack The Brooklyn Nets had recorded back-to-back wins against Utah and Phoenix before losing 105-95 to the Clippers here in LA last night. They gave the Clippers a scare though as they entered the fourth quarter trailing by just five points, and I think they'll bounce back with a win against the lowly Lakers Tuesday night. The Lakers have lost eight straight and they're 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games vs. a team with a losing road record. They'll come into this contest well rested as their last game was a 112-95 loss against the Grizzlies last Friday, but they're just 1-4 ATS in their last five games playing on three or more days rest. The under is 6-1 in the Lakers last seven home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400, and they might opt to limit the starters minutes with a game at Denver on deck tomorrow. We can also note that the under is 5-1 in their six home games when the total was greater than or equal to 210 this season. Under is 7-3 in the Nets last 10 games playing on no days rest and 9-3-1 in the last 13 meetings in this series. |

03-01-16 | Magic v. Mavs OVER 212.5 | 108-121 | Win | 100 | 19 h 7 m | Show
NBA 3-Pack Each of the Dallas Mavericks last eight games have gone over the total, and that includes a 110-104 OT loss at Orlando on Feb. 19. They've averaged 120.5 points per game while winning three of four since, and they have a red hot forward in Chandler Parsons who has averaged 27 points over the past two games. The Magic ended a two-game slide with a 130-116 win against the 76ers Sunday. The over is 5-1 in the Magic's last six overall and 6-2 in their last eight on the road. We can also note that the over is 9-1 in Orlando's 10 games versus good offensive teams that is scoring 99+ points/game in the 2nd half of the season so far, and Dallas is such a team averaging 102.2 points per game overall (104.9 ppg at home). |

02-29-16 | Rockets v. Bucks OVER 212.5 | 121-128 | Win | 100 | 20 h 48 m | Show
NBA 3-Pack I'm backing the Houston Rockets to win a high-scoring affair when they open the week by paying the Milwaukee Bucks a visit at BMO Harris Bradley Center Monday night. The Rockets were outclassed in a 104-94 home loss against the Spurs Saturday, but they're 5-1 ATS in their last six games following a ATS loss and 4-1 ATS in their last five road games. Milwaukee has been outscored by 10 points in the first quarter of each of its last two games, both losses, and fell 102-91 at home against the Pistons Saturday. The Bucks are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games following a double-digit loss at home and 0-4 ATS off an upset loss as a favorite this season. The over is 24-11 in Houston's 35 games as a favorite this season and 19-10 in their 29 road games. Over is 13-6 in the Bucks' last 19 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points and I think we'll see way more points tonight than when the Rockets defeated the Bucks 102-98 home in Houston on Jan. 22. James Harden had 30 points and eight assists in that contest and is close to unplayable at the moment averaging 38.3 points through his past three games. |

02-28-16 | Heat v. Knicks UNDER 198.5 | Top | 98-81 | Win | 100 | 18 h 0 m | Show |
Top Rated *TOTAL OF THE MONTH* This looks like a terrific spot to back the under as the New York Knicks will entertain the Miami Heat as MSG Sunday night. The Heat managed only 19 points in last night's 101-89 setback at Boston. The under is 6-2 in their last eight games following a straight up loss and 19-7 in Heat their last 26 Sunday games. The Knicks posted a  108-95 triumph over Orlando on Friday and the under is  5-1 in their last six games following an ATS win and 6-2 in their last eight home games. Under is 11-1 in the last 12 meetings in this series at MSG, and this should be another low-scoring encounter. |
|||||||
02-27-16 | Nets v. Jazz UNDER 196.5 | 98-96 | Win | 100 | 15 h 5 m | Show
NBA 3-Pack We have a pretty low total here when the Utah Jazz will host the Brooklyn Nets Saturday night, but I still think this contest will go under the total. The Jazz were outclassed 96-78 by the Spurs Thursday and the under is 8-0 in their last eight games following a double-digit loss at home. Under is 10-4-2 in their last 16 home games on Saturdays and that's despite an average line of only 192.2 points. The under is 9-2 in the Nets' 11 Saturday games this season and they're a low-scoring team overall. |
|||||||
02-19-16 | Pistons v. Wizards UNDER 211 | Top | 86-98 | Win | 100 | 10 h 55 m | Show |
NBA *TOTAL OF THE WEEK* We won with the Washington Wizards last night when they defeated the Utah Jazz 103-89. They'll host Detroit tonight before travelling to Miami to take on the Heat tomorrow, and I think we'll see a slow low-scoring contest. The Wizards won 97-95 at Detroit on Nov. 21, and the under is 3-1-1 in the last five meetings overall and 4-1-2 in the last seven meetings in Washington. The Pistons lost three straight and four of five prior to the All Star break as they struggled offensively, and the under is 15-7 in Pistons last 22 road games vs. a team with a losing home record. Detroit has played only two games when the total was greater than or equal to 210 this season, and both went under. We can also note that the under is 12-4 in the Wizards last 16 home games. |
