01-18-22 | Hurricanes v. Bruins -134 | 7-1 | Loss | -134 | 6 h 11 m | Show
Carolina has a better record but the Bruins are a decent sized favorite here. That tells us the oddsmakers want bettors to take Carolina here. We won’t bite. The Bruins are one of the hottest teams in the NHL right now and they have the dominating Rask back in front of the goal. We expect more success from them tonight. |
01-17-22 | Kings +101 v. Sharks | Top | 2-6 | Loss | -100 | 4 h 46 m | Show |
The Sharks have had the Kings number in recent meetings but we think these teams are going in the opposite directions. The Kings have found a spark and have won four straight, and they are playing with lots of confidence and swagger right now. The Sharks have lost two straight. Those losses came after a three-game winning streak, but the opposition wasn’t great and they needed OT in wins against the Red Wings and Flyers. San Jose has been overrated by the oddsmakers this season and they have drained nearly $1500 from bettors bankrolls, while the Kings have been one of the best betting teams and have made their blind backers more than $1K on the season. They have a Top 5 defense for goals allowed this season, and that is a big reason for their success at the window. They also have a winning record on the road, so we feel confident backing them in this rivalry spot. |
01-14-22 | Coyotes v. Avalanche UNDER 6.5 | 3-4 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 23 m | Show
We were all over Arizona last time out against Toronto, and they got a big upset win. One of their biggest wins of the season. They are in a letdown spot here, and we don’t see them contributing much to this big goal total. They have two or fewer goals in three of their last four games. They have gone under in 10 of 13 games as a road underdog. They have some of the worst offensive numbers in the NHL. We think Colorado will get their share of goals but Arizona won’t contribute theirs. |
01-13-22 | Flyers v. Bruins OVER 6 | Top | 2-3 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 27 m | Show |
The league as a whole is trending to the over right now, but we would like the over here anyways. Boston has gone under in only one of their last seven games. They have scored five or more goals in five of their last six games, so if their offense plays like it has recently, this team could score most of the goals to get this one over the total by themselves. But Philly will probably get their goals, too. Boston is coming in on a back-to-back. Offense will be instinctual to them. But giving the energy for top flight defense might come as a challenge with tired legs. And Tuukka Rask is making his first start of the season after offseason surgery. He missed his rehab stint in the minors and came straight to the big leagues. We expect some rust and he could be extra vulnerable tonight. The over is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings between these teams. |
01-12-22 | Seattle Kraken v. Stars -1.5 | 2-5 | Win | 130 | 24 h 23 m | Show
Seattle hasn’t been a good underdog bet recently as they are 0-5 in their last five when plus money on the moneyline. They are running right into a buzzsaw in Dallas tonight. Dallas had won four straight before dominating St. Louis for most of the game last time out before allowing two goals in the final minute to lose in heartbreaking fashion. Now they have the perfect Get Right game against hapless Seattle. Despite some generous moneylines this team has been one of the worst bets in the NHL this season. The Dallas offense is playing very well and the Kraken have four or more goals in five of their last six games, so we feel the Stars will be able to get the goals requires to cover this puckline at plus money. |
01-11-22 | Red Wings v. Sharks -130 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 10 h 38 m | Show
Lots of trends in our favor here in San Jose on Tuesday night. Detroit comes in the losers of 5 of 7 and they are giving up goals in abundance. Yet their name recognition keeps the moneyline in check for their opponents. San Jose has won two straight and four of six. The home team is 7-2 in the last nine meetings and SJ has won 14 of 20. San Jose has won all of their last four games when favored. Detroit is one of the worst bets in the NHL on the road as an underdog 13-62 record!). We see a pretty easy win for the home team here tonight. |
01-10-22 | Rangers v. Kings UNDER 5.5 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 11 h 52 m | Show
We think this moneyline is more than fair for the road team, which is a much stronger club. Both teams are solid defensively and we see a low-scoring game and expect the Rangers to win a 2-1 or 3-1 type of game. Both teams have been playing well but we think the Rangers match up well here and we feel they have been very strong on the road. |
01-08-22 | Red Wings v. Kings OVER 5.5 | 0-4 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 47 m | Show
Both teams are trending to the over, and we expect another high scoring contest here. The Red Wings have gone over in 4 of 5, while the Kings have gone over in 3 of 4. The over is 7-1 in Detroit’s last eight games as an underdog, and lately they have either been scoring or allowing a bunch of goals, and we think that will be the case again tonight. |
01-07-22 | Capitals -103 v. Blues | Top | 1-5 | Loss | -103 | 7 h 6 m | Show |
The Blues are getting hit by Covid issues while the Caps are likely getting some players back, and that bodes well for the road team here. Also boding well for the road team is the fact the Caps have been even better on the road than they have at home, and they are 10-3-3 in away games this season. Their road performance has been one of the big reasons they are one of the better betting teams this season, and we think they are ripe to pull the upset again. They are 4-1 in their last five as an underdog. The underdog is 4-0 in the last four meetings and the Capitals are 6-2 in the last eight meetings. Two very good teams here but Washington is a better one and playing on the road isn’t a big deal in the NHL. |
01-06-22 | Sharks v. Sabres UNDER 6 | Top | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 6 h 21 m | Show |
San Jose has played a lot of over games recently, but thanks to that we are getting a fair number here on the under in what we expect should be a lower scoring game. Buffalo has gone over this total just twice in the last nine games. We think they will allow a couple goals here but we don’t see their offense doing too much today and they will have to rely on the defense if they want to be competitive here. These are two of the worst ranked offenses in the NHL for goals per game and we don’t see either team really breaking out here. Nice value on the under tonight as we don’t have to lay too much juice. |
01-05-22 | Blues v. Penguins -130 | 3-5 | Win | 100 | 7 h 13 m | Show
We have to roll with the NHL’s hottest team as the Pens have notched eight straight wins. They are coming off an eight-goal performance last time out against San Jose and their offense has been almost unstoppable during this win streak. St. Louis is 2-7 in their last nine road games and this team just hasn’t been playing well away from home overall despite winning the last two on the road. These are two very good teams but we see the Penguins rolling again here and we just don’t think the Blues will be able to match their offensive output here for this Wednesday matchup. |
01-04-22 | Sharks v. Red Wings OVER 5.5 | Top | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 28 h 37 m | Show |
Both teams have been trending to the over, and we expect the offenses to rule the ice here again on Tuesday. San Jose has given up 5 or more goals in three of their last four matchups. Six of their last nine games have gone over the posted total. Detroit has gone over in 8 of 10. The Wings have been struggling lately and we see them giving up a bunch of goals in this one, and we will go with the hotter side as the Sharks have looked good on offense recently. |
12-04-21 | Maple Leafs -113 v. Wild | 3-4 | Loss | -113 | 6 h 49 m | Show
5-Unit Play. Take Toronto -120 over Minnesota (Saturday at 7pm) As per your selection, it's not every day you get the hottest team in the league at this low of a price. The Leafs have been the best team in the league for the last month or so and now get to take on a Minnesota team that has also won five straight. The difference in this will be the defensive side of the ice as the Leafs are in the top 10 in all major defensive categories while the wild are upwards of 16th or worse. The Leafs know this is a big game and I expect them to come out and win this game. |
12-02-21 | Bruins -105 v. Predators | 2-0 | Win | 100 | 6 h 27 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Boston -120 over Nashville (Thursday at 8pm) Great 5* winner yesterday as Edmonton easily dispatched of Pittsburgh. Let's keep the momentum going today. As per your selection on the above plays, we are rolling with our stats model on these plays as each play is priced at a very good line and we feel we are getting the better team in the better situational spot in each one of these contests. Let's have a night and go 3-0. |
12-01-21 | Penguins v. Oilers -121 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 11 h 8 m | Show
5-Unit Play. Take Edmonton -130 over Pittsburgh (Wednesday at 10pm) As per your selection on Edmonton, they've been sitting at home waiting for the Penguins since Saturday and they've been playing some good hockey having won three straight. They get a Pittsburgh team who have played poorly of late losing two straight. The Pens simply can't keep the puck out of their net and we see a rested Oilers team being too much for the Pens to handle. |
11-26-21 | Avalanche -120 v. Stars | 1-3 | Loss | -120 | 8 h 6 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Colorado -130 over Dallas (Friday at 7:30pm) As per your selection, where is Dallas going to find the offensive game to keep up with the Avs and score as many goals as them? I don't see it happening. Colorado ranks first in goals per game and first in shooting percentage. They've won six in a row and with no immediate lookahead spot or anything to constitute a letdown spot tonight, the Avs are the better team and we are getting them at a great price. The Stars are on a small two-game winning streak but that ends tonight. |
11-26-21 | Canadiens -114 v. Sabres | 1-4 | Loss | -114 | 8 h 37 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Montreal -120 over Buffalo (Friday at 7pm) As per your selection on Montreal, sooner or later they are going to break out of the funk they are in and what better time to do it than tonight against a piss-poor Sabres team that has dropped four straight. The Habs will have the better roster in this game (which isn't saying much) but it's about time they start performing to what they're capable of. Buffalo is a disaster defensively and I expect Montreal to put a few past Tokarski here tonight. |
11-26-21 | Hurricanes v. Flyers +133 | 6-3 | Loss | -100 | 4 h 8 m | Show
6-Unit Play. Take Philadelphia +125 over Carolina (Friday at 3:30pm) As per your selection on Philadelphia, this is a fade of Carolina as this is their last game of a six-game road trip and first game out in the eastern time zone since Friday Nov 12. On their road trip, they were in Vegas, California and Seattle and have lost the last two games and with a day in between games, with cross-country travel, we see them being a bit sluggish here and Philly being a great price for grabbing a win tonight. |
11-21-21 | Capitals -110 v. Seattle Kraken | 2-5 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 13 m | Show
5-Unit Play. Take Washington -120 over Seattle (Sunday at 9pm) Why would we not go back to the well with Washington? We've been on them for the last three games and now they get to face the weakest team they've faced so far on this western road trip. Washington is playing on back-to-back nights, but that doesn't scare me as Seattle is not a good team by any stretch. Look for Washington to dominant again and get these two points. |
11-16-21 | Hurricanes v. Golden Knights +115 | 4-2 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 35 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Vegas +105 over Carolina (Tuesday at 10:30pm) As per your selection on the above - we've carefully selected these games as each one of them fits our system and is capitalizing on great lines and great spots for each team we've selected. We normally try and offer our thoughts on one or two games per night in depth, but sometimes when our system loves multiple plays, we will play them in bunches. This is one of those nights. Let's have a great night and go 4-0. |
11-15-21 | Islanders v. Lightning -125 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 6 h 51 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Tampa Bay -130 over New York Islanders (Monday at 7pm) As per your selection on Tampa Bay, we like them in this spot as they look to pick up their third win in four games nd t home, they are always a tough team to beat. The Lightning hasn't quite got going to full capacity yet but they are still winning games and are getting balanced scoring throughout the roster. The islanders have lost two straight including a 4-0 shut out to NJ on Thursday. The Islanders have played every game so far this season on the road and that's definitely taken a toll on the team as they wait for their new arena to open up. This game will be the first of a b2b in Florida as they take on Florida tomorrow before opening up their new arena on Saturday against Calgary. Tampa is a good play tonight at this price. |
11-13-21 | Penguins -140 v. Senators | 3-6 | Loss | -140 | 7 h 22 m | Show
7-Unit Play. Take Pittsburgh -150 over Ottawa (Saturday at 7pm) As per your selection on the Penguins, it's a great spot for them to pick up their second win in a row against a depleted Sens team.I hate picking on teams that are struggling, but the Sens are missing 13 regulars and have dropped six straight games. They are just not playing good hockey of late and Pittsburgh, is coming off a great win vs Florida and is expected to cruise to victory here. I'll bite on this cheap price as I think the Pens win this game by 2+ goals. |
11-12-21 | Flames v. Maple Leafs -179 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 5 h 21 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Toronto over Calgary (Friday at 7pm) As per your selection on Toronto, we like them in this spot as they come off a great road win two nights ago and now return home to face a Calgary team off a loss and that just played last night in Montreal. The Leafs have finally found some offense and consistency to their defensive game and we expect them to get the win here tonight and protect home ice. |
11-10-21 | Predators +135 v. Stars | 4-2 | Win | 135 | 9 h 24 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Nashville over Dallas (Wednesday at 8:30pm) As per your selection on Nashville, we believe this price is absurd as they are just as good as Dallas if not better and we are getting them at a crazy price. It's no secret that both teams struggle offensively but it is the Predators who own the better defensive record and we expect them to shut down the Stars. Dallas is coming off a three-game western road trip where they went 0-3 and that first game home usually doesn't go well for teams. Take Nashville. |
11-09-21 | Seattle Kraken +105 v. Golden Knights | 2-4 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 26 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Seattle +105 over Vegas (Tuesday at 10 pm) As per your selections on the above, each one of these selections fit our models and we expect us to have a profitable night on the ice. The lines are skewed in our favor and we couldn't help ourselves by putting out a big card. Let's have a great night on the ice and build some momentum to head into the week. |
11-06-21 | Golden Knights v. Canadiens -114 | 5-2 | Loss | -114 | 8 h 53 m | Show
5-Unit Play. Take Montreal -110 over Vegas (Saturday at 7pm) We usually like to fade Montreal, but this is a good spot for them to get a win against a depleted Vegas Squad. Montreal was last in action on Thursday and we gave you the Islanders over them and they won 6-2. Now we go with Montreal as they simply cannot play any worse than that game and with talks of Price returning to the team soon, the morale should be a little higher than it was a few days ago. As for Vegas, well they made the trade to acquire Eichel and are coming off a 5-1 win vs Ottawa, but similar to Montreal, are among the worst offensive teams in the league. I Expect Montreal to grind out a win here tonight on their home ice. |
11-05-21 | Devils v. Kings -120 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 12 h 38 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Los Angeles -125 over New Jersey (Friday at 10:30) We are traveling today so no time for a lengthy write up. Both of these plays fit our system and we like the price we are getting with the home sides. Vancouver is off a good win and LA has won three straight and we expect both of these home teams to carry the momentum into their respective games and get back in the win column tonight. |
11-04-21 | Islanders -129 v. Canadiens | 6-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 41 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take New York Islanders -140 over Montreal (Thursday 7pm) As per your selection on the Islanders, we like them here in this spot to get a win against a bad Montreal team. It's hard to trust Montreal in any spot as they are a team that doesn't score many goals and that's something the Islanders thrive off of. The Isles are accustomed to playing low-scoring game and with the better overall lineup, we see them grabbing a big win on Thursday. |
11-04-21 | Golden Knights v. Senators +105 | 5-1 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 40 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Ottawa +110 over Vegas (Thursday at 7pm) As per your selection on Ottawa, this is a great spot for them to catch a win against a Vegas team that is depleted and just not playing good hockey right now. The Sens should welcome the return home and should be able to take advantage of a Vegas team that just traded a readily available player for an injured guy like Eichel. The Sens are scoring more goals per game than Vegas and they have the better power play percentage which is where I believe the Sens will win this game. Great price on the home dog here. |
11-03-21 | Blues -130 v. Kings | 2-3 | Loss | -130 | 11 h 37 m | Show
5-Unit Play. Take St. Louis -130 over Los Angeles (Wednesday at 10pm) As per your selection on St. Louis, we like them in this spot to continue playing some good hockey as they are 6-1 on the season and are coming off a really good 1-0 win vs Chicago. The Blues rank inside the top five in most major offensive and defensive categories and we expect those trends to continue. The Bluews rank No.2 on the power play and No.2 on the penalty kill and its that edge that we expect them to ride to a win here today. The Kings have won two straight but we think they are very suspect especially on the defensive end where they allow three goals per game and are ranked 29th on the PK. look for St. Louis to control this game and win going away. |
11-02-21 | Rangers v. Canucks +116 | 2-3 | Win | 116 | 11 h 32 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Vancouver +110 over New York (Tuesday at 10pm) As per your selection on Vancouver, this is a great spot for them to get back in the win column and stop a three-game losing streak. The Canucks have been off since Saturday with an extra day to stew about their lack of production. When you look at those losses, they've all been one-goal games and the defense has really stepped up in a big way. I expect them to continue the good defense against a Rangers team that ranks near the bottom of the league in goals per game and shots on goal per game. Speaking of the Rangers, don't let their 6-2-1 start fool you into thinking they are a juggernaut. as I mentioned, they are in the bottom of the league in offensive categories, and sooner or later that's going to catch up to them as they won't be able to win every close game they are in. Great price on the more desperate home side tonight. |
10-29-21 | Panthers v. Red Wings UNDER 6 | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 6 h 33 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take UNDER 6 (-110) - Florida/Detroit (Friday at 7pm) We roll with the under here in this spot as we feel Florida is due for a letdown in one of their next couple of games after winning on Wednesday vs the Bruins. The Wings are a pesky team to play against and they come off a 3-2 win against Washington and four of their last 6 games have stayed under the posted total of 6 goals. I expect Florida to come in a little sleepy as they have to go to Boston on Saturday for a rematch with the Bruins. We see this a 3-1, 3-2 type hockey game that Detroit could very well win. |
10-28-21 | Canadiens v. Sharks -123 | 4-0 | Loss | -123 | 11 h 18 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take San Jose over Montreal (Thursday at 10:30 pm)As per your selection on San Jose, we just don't believe Montreal is going to snap out of this funk that they're in, and with two games back to back in tough environments, we see them falling flat again tonight. The Sharks are a quiet 4-2 on the season and will be eager to get out of their 2 game slump on home ice. They will start Aiden Hill in net who has 3 of the four wins and we expect him to backstop the Sharks to another win. San Jose is the deeper squad and we see this being a good spot for them to get a win. |
10-28-21 | Bruins v. Hurricanes -130 | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 49 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Carolina over Boston (Thursday at 7pm) As per your selection on Carolina, we are just going to keep riding them this season. They are a dominant team that plays an uptempo puck possession game that generates a lot of chances while limiting their opponents to next to nothing. Boston is on a back-to-back here with travel while Carolina is rested and ready. Great price with the better team. |
10-26-21 | Flames v. Devils -111 | 5-3 | Loss | -111 | 8 h 34 m | Show
7-Unit Play. Take New Jersey over Calgary (Tuesday at 7pm) As per your selection on New Jersey, this is a great spot for them to pick up their second win in a row after beating the Sabres on Saturday. The Devils have gotten off to a solid start, posting a 3-1 record and it's their defense that has led them to that record. They rank inside the top 10 in goals allowed and shots on goal allowed and we expect that to continue here and we expect them to distinguish the Flames current hot streak. The Flames are also off to a good start and they've won three in a row - all on the road against the Wings, Caps, and yesterday and MSG against the Rangers. Now with the quick turnaround and this being their fourth road game in six days, i see them being a little too fat and happy, and coming to lowly Newark, they just won't have the same jump they've had during the last week. Look for NJ to jump on the Flames early and put this game away for a win. |
10-21-21 | Hurricanes -113 v. Canadiens | 4-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 33 m | Show
7-Unit Play. Take Carolina -125 over Montreal (Thursday at 7pm) As per your selection on Carolina, we feel that this is a huge mismatch on the ice as Carolina is the far better and far more complete team. Carolina plays at such a frenetic pace that the slow Canadians will not be able to handle. Carolina is also rested having not played since Saturday, so they should be chomping at the bit to get going in this one. The Habs are 0-4 on the season and while most would think that a desperate team is a scary team, the Habs just don't score enough goals to concern me in this one. Carolina will overwhelm them and will win this game with ease. |
10-20-21 | Blues v. Golden Knights OVER 5.5 | 3-1 | Loss | -119 | 10 h 49 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take OVER 5.5 - St. Louis/Vegas (-120) (Wednesday at 10pm) As per your selection on the over, this is a great spot for both teams to continue scoring a bunch of goals. The Blues just came off an 11-goal thriller the other night and while we see the upside of the offense, the defense has given up 7 goals in two games played. I Don't expect that to change much against a good Vegas side who is coming off a 6-2 loss to the Kings. Both teams like to play a high-tempo game and we see chances being traded at both ends and we ultimately see this is a 3-3 OT game, or a 4-2 win for either team. |
10-19-21 | Panthers +105 v. Lightning | 4-1 | Win | 105 | 7 h 14 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Florida +100 over Tampa Bay (Tuesday at 7pm) Note* Doc's Soccer also has a big card today as kick-offs are at 3pm! As per your selections above, each team has been carefully selected as they fit our system and we expect to turn a profit here tonight. Pittsburgh has enough offense to handle Dallas easily, while the Sabres are catching the Canucks in a good spot and the Panthers are catching the Lightning dealing with injury troubles. Let's have a day today! |
10-16-21 | Seattle Kraken v. Blue Jackets +104 | 1-2 | Win | 104 | 8 h 50 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Columbus -105 over Seattle (Saturday at 7pm) No time for lengthy write-ups for any of these matches. All matches have been carefully selected with our specific parameters in mind and we see a 3-1 or 4-0 night on the cards. Let's have a day and win some money! |
10-16-21 | Canucks -115 v. Red Wings | 1-3 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 50 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Vancouver -120 over Detroit (Saturday at 7pm) |
10-16-21 | Lightning -123 v. Capitals | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 49 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Washington +110 over Tampa Bay (Saturday at 7pm) |
10-16-21 | Rangers v. Canadiens -105 | 3-1 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 49 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Montreal -110 over New York Rangers (Saturday at 7pm) |
10-15-21 | Canucks v. Flyers -140 | 5-4 | Loss | -140 | 6 h 50 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Philadelphia -150 over Vancouver (Friday at 7pm) We got in the win column yesterday with two wins and we look for the momentum to carry over here today. As per your selection on Philadelphia, we believe they are the better team and the fact that Vancouver has a game under their belt already does not deter us from taking the Flyers here. Look, Vancouver played a good game against the Oilers in their first game but now they travel across the country for a road game in a really tough building to play in. Many have the Flyers as a sexy pick to make the postseason and make some noise. They have a good offensive game and if they can get timely goaltending the Flyers could be dangerous. We'll take the Flyers on home ice tonight to get the win. |
10-14-21 | Maple Leafs -167 v. Senators | 2-3 | Loss | -167 | 7 h 50 m | Show
2-Unit Play. Take Toronto -170 over Ottawa (Thursday at 7pm) As per your selection on Toronto, we are going to keep the units low on this one as the juice is high. We see no reasons why the Leafs can't go into Ottawa and beat the Sens and win back-to-back games to open the season. I don't get the "Ottawa is rested" crowd, as this is the Leafs second game of the season. They should be just fine in this one and man for man they have the better lineup. |

10-14-21 | Islanders v. Hurricanes -125 | 3-6 | Win | 100 | 7 h 50 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Carolina -125 over New York Islanders (Thursday at 7pm) As per your selection on Carolina, we are just grabbing the better team here at a great price. The Canes were stellar at home last season and with very little lost by way of trade or free agency, but a few good pieces acquired, the Canes are going to be a really good team once again this year. They take on an Islanders team that just doesn't have the pop that's needed in this league to succeed on a nightly basis. They play a defensive style and in the opening game, that won't work against a Canes team that'll be flying and ready to get the season started on a winning note. |
10-13-21 | Jets -130 v. Ducks | 1-4 | Loss | -130 | 11 h 51 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Winnipeg -140 over Anaheim (Wednesday at 10pm) As per your selection on Winnipeg, we see this is a good spot for them to open up the season with a win. They had a poor pre-season by whatever metrics you can measure pre-season, but we feel they will be ready to go for this one as they are the better and deeper team top to bottom and will have the better goaltender between the pipes in this contest. Look, Anaheim is going to be among one of the worst teams this season and that starts today. The Ducks were also another team that had a poor preseason, but with very little offensive talent on this roster, we see them struggling to score goals. Take Winnipeg here. |
10-12-21 | Penguins v. Lightning UNDER 6 | 6-2 | Loss | -125 | 8 h 59 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take UNDER 6 goals - Tampa/Pittsburgh (Tuesday at 7:30pm) As per your selection on the UNDER in this spot, we feel this game is going to be a low scoring contest as both teams will want to ease themselves into the season and with what we've seen over the last few years, typically banner-raising nights are long and exhausting for the players and the play is really affected. Either way, you have Vasilevskiy in one net who is the best goalie in the league and a Pittsburgh team that has put a ton of emphasis on defense in the preseason. We expect a 3-2 type game in this one. |
07-07-21 | Canadiens v. Lightning OVER 5 | 0-1 | Loss | -135 | 3 h 52 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Over 5 Goals (-130) - Montreal/Tampa Bay (Wednesday at 8pm) This write up doesn't need to be very long. We've been on the over for the majority of the games here and we go right back to it after pushing in Game 4. The offensive firepower is too much on display and we see this game getting out of hand and the Bolts closing out this series by a big score. |
07-05-21 | Lightning v. Canadiens OVER 5 | 2-3 | Push | 0 | 6 h 2 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take OVER 5 Goals (-125) - Montreal/Tampa Bay (Monday at 8pm) As per your selection on the OVER, we are banking on Tampa winning this game due to Montreal's aggressiveness. The Habs have nothing left to lose as they are down 3-0 and we see them taking plenty of chances to win this game and we see Tampa hitting them back where it counts and that's on the scoreboard. Tampa's offense is great and with the chance to clinch the Cup, we see them coming out with a great effort and taking matters into their own hands. Look for this game to be played at an uptempo pace and we see a few late empty net goals to seal the deal for Tampa. |
07-02-21 | Lightning -128 v. Canadiens | 6-3 | Win | 100 | 7 h 29 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Tampa over Montreal (Friday at 8pm) As per your selection on Tampa, we are getting them at a great price here and we will be all over it. Tampa has dominated this series so far and they just have far too much offensive skill and talent to be shut down. They are going to win the Cup and with a chance to put the Habs on the brink of elimination tonight, we see them coming out with another great 60-minute performance. The Habs on the other hand are starting to doubt if what they've been doing will work against the Lightning and once that doubt creeps in you are toast. Look for the Lightning to win a close game here as they go up 3-0 in the series. |
06-30-21 | Canadiens v. Lightning OVER 5 | 1-3 | Loss | -120 | 8 h 29 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Over in Tampa vs Montreal (Wednesday at 8pm) As per your selection on the over, we hit the OVER in Game 1 and we go back to the well here. Tampa is just too good an offensive team to be contained and they broke out in a big way in Game 1, and we expect more of the same here today. The Habs are just a step too slow, and we see the Lightning dropping another four spot here tonight with the Canadians chipping in to help us cash the over. |
06-28-21 | Canadiens v. Lightning OVER 5 | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 7 h 10 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take OVER in Montreal / Tampa Bay ( Monday at 8pm) As per your selection on the OVER, we think both teams are going to come out and want to assert themselves in this very important Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. We know how good both goalies are but we believe this game is going to be a more wide-open affair with plenty of chances and at least six goals. The Lightning were buzzing in their Game 7 win against the Islanders and they only managed 1 goal. We see a similar effort here but with a different result. Look for this game to end around 4-2. |
06-25-21 | Islanders +148 v. Lightning | 0-1 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 4 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take New York Islanders over Tampa Bay (Friday at 8pm) There are no better words in sports than "Game 7". This is it. Winners goes on to the Stanley Cup Finals to take on Montreal. Both of these teams have had their moments in this series and we believe this game is a coin flip. The Islanders are good enough to win, as they've shown three times, and the Lightning seem to be getting a little frustrated. Great value on what should be a very even line. Take the Islanders. |
06-24-21 | Golden Knights v. Canadiens UNDER 5 | 2-3 | Push | 0 | 9 h 44 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Under in Montreal/ Vegas (Thursday at 8pm) As per your selection, this is a great spot to take the under. Both teams have gotten to this point by playing good defensive hockey and taking advantage of the other team's mistakes. This is an elimination game so you can expect both teams to come out a little hesitant in this one and not want to be the first team to make a crucial mistake. Both goalies are good and the defensive game has been taking up another level. The Habs will continue to grind away and wear you down, while the Knights will try and play fast but that hasn't seemed to work so far this season. We expect a very low scoring game here and a 2-1 scoreline would not surprise me. |
06-23-21 | Lightning v. Islanders UNDER 5 | 2-3 | Push | 0 | 9 h 39 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Under in Tampa/New York (Wednesday at 8pm) As per your selection on the under, we believe this series is all but over for the Islanders. They went off the rails in Game 5 and got blown out. They should show up and put up a fight in this contest, but Tampa has the upper hand and will be urgently looking to close out the series. Tampa Bay, in close out games, have won by a combined score of 6-0 and with the series on the line, we expect the defense and goaltending to come up big once again. The knee jerk reaction from Game 5 would be to take the over again, but we'll flip sides and bank on a low-scoring game in which the Isles play tight and safe in order to ensure they don't piss away the game on a mistake. Look for 2-1, 3-1 type of game. |
06-21-21 | Islanders v. Lightning OVER 5 | 0-8 | Win | 100 | 9 h 42 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take OVER in - New York/Tampa Bay (Monday at 8pm) As per your selection, we think this is a good spot for both teams to break out offensively in what is the pivotal game of the series. So far, the over has cashed in just once, but we see this game being a moe offensive affair that will include plenty of chances. We think the price is right on this one and we are happy to grab a 5 instead of a 5.5. |
06-20-21 | Golden Knights v. Canadiens +156 | 2-1 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 18 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Montreal +155 over Vegas (Sunday at 8pm) No need for a lengthy write up. We had MTL in Game 3 and they came through. We roll with them in Game 4 as they just seem to have the "it" mojo going for them this postseason. Vegas has to be shaken up after blowing that 2-goal lead late and we think the Habs can capitalize on that. Great price as well. |
06-19-21 | Lightning -124 v. Islanders | 2-3 | Loss | -124 | 9 h 18 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Tampa over New York (Saturday at 8pm) We are getting to the point in the season where write ups aren't really required unless something less obvious needs to be stated. We had Tampa in Game 3 and we like them in Game 4. They are the more complete team and we see them putting the Isles on the brink tonight. |
06-17-21 | Lightning -132 v. Islanders | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 13 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Tampa Bay -130 over New York (Thursday at 8pm) As per your selection on Tampa Bay, we split the totals in the first two games, but now we turn to a side and we think Tampa is prime for a big game once again. They scored four in their last game against the Islanders to win that and even the series and as they grow in confidence, they will only get tougher to play against. We still believe Tampa has the advantage at every spot on the ice and we see them taking back home ice with a big win here tonight. The Islanders are a solid team in their own right, but sooner or later the bend but don't break mantra is going to go bust, and we see Tampa winning this game in a big way. |
06-16-21 | Canadiens v. Golden Knights -1.5 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 41 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Vegas -1.5 PL over Montreal (Wednesday at 9pm) As per your selection on Vegas -1.5, we don't see a way Montreal stays close in this game. They are outmanned in every facet of the game and their defensive issues are at the forefront in this series because of injuries. Vegas can take a massive strangle hold on the series with a win here and we see them shutting down the Canadians and skating out to a big win here tonight. |
06-15-21 | Islanders v. Lightning OVER 5 | 2-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 49 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Over in New York/Tampa Bay (Tuesday at 8pm) Quick write up for this one, I see both teams breaking out in a big way offensively in this contest. The attacking fire power both teams have is too much for it to be contained in two straight games, so I'll take a shot at the over 5 in this contest at plus money. |
06-13-21 | Islanders v. Lightning OVER 5.5 | 2-1 | Loss | -100 | 2 h 33 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Over 5.5 Goals (+125) - Tampa Bay vs New York (Sunday at 3pm) As per your selection on the over 5.5 goals in this spot, we know both teams are sound defensively but typically the first games of these series are high scoring before teams settle in and make life miserable for each other. Each team has the talent offensively to put up a big number on any given night so we'll take a shot with the plus-money total here tonight. |
06-10-21 | Avalanche v. Golden Knights -128 | 3-6 | Win | 100 | 9 h 9 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Vegas -140 over Colorado (Thursday at 9pm) As per your selection on Vegas, we are going hard fade of Colorado here because we've seen time and time again that they simply can't win a big game. For whatever reason, the Avs just stumble all over themselves despite the talent they have, and against a team like Vegas, those mistakes do not go unpunished. Vegas has dominated the series since going down 2-0 and we just see them being the better all-around team and with the momentum they have and the advantage in net, and playing in front of a raucous home crowd, we see them getting the job done here tonight as they know a Game 7 in Denver is not a winning proposition. |
06-09-21 | Bruins v. Islanders +122 | 2-6 | Win | 122 | 8 h 55 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take New York Islanders over Boston (Wednesday at 7:30pm) As per your selection on New York, we see them closing out this series on home ice in what would be upset fashion. The Islanders are the best bend-but-don't-break team in the NHL and by hook or by crook they always find a way to get the job done. Kudos to Barry Trotz for coaching his team up and getting them to buy into a solid system. They have the talent needed to score goals and the defensive game to stymie the opposition. Boston has found the second round tougher than they would have hoped for and are on the brink of elimination. In this game, the Islanders need to play with desperation as going to Game 7 in Boston is almost always a losing proposition. I believe the Islanders come out hungry and motivated and ready to end this series here tonight. |
06-08-21 | Lightning v. Hurricanes +107 | 2-0 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 10 m | Show
5-Unit Play. Take Carolina over Tampa Bay (Tuesday at 6:30 pm) As per your selection on Carolina, I've been all over Tampa in this series and have done pretty well. So why the sudden change? Well because this game sets up well for Carolina to defend home ice and I think they are a good enough team to do so. Look, Carolina hasn't gotten much good goaltending so far this series, so something's bound to change. They play a brand of hockey that sees them take plenty of shots on the net and they just haven't found any luck in and around the net. With their season on the line, I expect them to bear down and grab a win. Tampa knows it has three cracks at winning this series so the focus may not be there fully today. |
06-06-21 | Avalanche +101 v. Golden Knights | 1-5 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 56 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Colorado -105 over Vegas (Sunday at 8:30pm) As per your selection on Colorado, we believe this is a great bounce-back spot for them as they come off a loss in which they allowed two goals in a minute span in the third period of Game 3. Colorado's coach has called the team's compete level out and we believe with the experienced roster they have, they'll be ready to play a full 60 minutes here today. Given their best effort, the Avs are the better team and we believe they push Vegas to the brink after picking up a win here tonight. |
06-04-21 | Canadiens v. Jets UNDER 5.5 | 1-0 | Win | 100 | 8 h 6 m | Show
7-Unit Play. Take UNDER 5.5 (-125) - Montreal/Winnipeg (Friday at 7:38pm) As per your selection on the UNDER in this contest, after a high scoring and bad-blooded Game 1, these two teams should settle down and get into a series of adjustments and adjusting to the adjustments. It's not every day you see Montreal put up 5 goals and Price allows three, so we are banking on it getting back to the norm here today. You know Winnipeg will need and want to be better defensively and without one of their best offensive players in the lineup, the defensive game must be sound because the extra boost of offense will not be there. As for Montreal, they should be feeling good about themselves, having won four straight games dating back to the last series, but the team should expect a more tight-checking game and this is where we believe the under comes into play. Carey Price and Connor Hellebuyck are two great goalies that played poorly in Game 1. Expect a bounce-back from both of them here today in a slow, chippy affair. |
06-02-21 | Canadiens v. Jets -136 | 5-3 | Loss | -136 | 7 h 28 m | Show
6-Unit Play. Take Winnipeg -130 over Montreal (Wednesday at 7:30pm) As per your selection on Winnipeg, this is a great spot for them to come out and dominate Game 1. We saw a similar situation in Game 1 of the Vegas/Colorado series, where Vegas came off an emotional seven-game series and Colorado was waiting for them rested and ready to go. The same situation applies in this spot and I don't think the Canadiens will be ready to go from puck drop. The Jets showed us how good they can be when they play a full 60 minutes of hockey and with rest, momentum and confidence, I expect the Jets to come out and dominate Game 1 of this series. |
05-30-21 | Lightning -100 v. Hurricanes | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 6 h 60 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Tampa Bay -110 over Carolina (Sunday at 5pm) NOTE* Doc's Golf is on fire right now cashing five straight tickets for +$3,040. He's releasing an 8-UNIT play for Sunday's Fourth Round at the Charles Schwab Challenge! As per your selection on Tampa Bay, we are going to go light in this series until we find an edge. To start, we think Tampa is the better team in this series and as they have the better goaltending, we can see them stealing a win in a Carolina before returning home for Games 3 and 4. Tampa will be boosted by the return of Kucherov to the lineup and that should help generate some more offense, not that they need it considering the output they had against Florida. I believe Tampa is ready to get this series started and will skate away to a game 1 win. |
05-29-21 | Maple Leafs -185 v. Canadiens | 2-3 | Loss | -185 | 8 h 59 m | Show
3-Unit Play. No. 41. Take Toronto over Montreal (Saturday at 7:30pm) Normally we don't like laying this kind of juice and we know Montreal is in a must-win situation to prolong their season, but this is a must-win game for the Leafs as they DO NOT want to have to play a Game 7 because Game 7's are wacky and anything can happen. Look, aside from a slow start and one bonehead play in OT, the Leafs controlled most of the game and were a couple of posts and a couple of Carey Price robberies away from ending the series. They know they can beat the Habs when the play a full 60 minutes and I don't see them lagging behind in this one once again. The Leafs are the better team and will come out with a sense of purpose and will close out the series in front of 2500 Habs fans. |
05-28-21 | Wild +155 v. Golden Knights | 2-6 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 0 m | Show
3-Unit Play. No. 35. Take Minnesota over Vegas (Friday at 9 pm) We've been rolling along at a pretty good clip in these playoffs so far, so let's keep it going! As for your selection on Minnesota, how can you pass up a price like this in a winner take all elimination game? Clearly, Minnesota has done something right as they've won three games and fought to fight another day with their Game 6 win on home ice. Minnesota just seems to give Vegas fits and from what I've seen and heard about the Golden Knights is that if it wasn't for Fleury, they would already have been toast in this series. Vegas just doesn't seem to have the "it" factor that it did the last few seasons and with Minnesota dominating the regular-season series vs Vegas, that has spilled into this playoff series and so why not take a shot with Minnesota here at a great price. |
05-27-21 | Hurricanes -135 v. Predators | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 9 h 11 m | Show
3-Unit Play. No. 24. Take Carolina over Nashville (Thursday at 9:30 pm) As per your selection, we were all over Carolina in the first two contests of this series which were wins, so we go back to the well with them here on the road in Game 6 as they know that they can not afford to gift Nashville a second life and a chance at winning a Game 7. Carolina has been the better team for much of the series with the exception of a few periods, but we believe they have the resolve and character in the dressing room to know what it takes to get ready to win an elimination game and move onto the next round. Carolina has the advantage over Nashville in every aspect on the ice and we will see that come to the forefront here tonight. Take Carolina. |
05-26-21 | Penguins v. Islanders -105 | 3-5 | Win | 100 | 7 h 9 m | Show
5-Unit Play. Take New York Islanders over Pittsburgh (Wednesday at 6:30 pm) As per your selection on New York, we think this series is all but done tonight. New York has shown its ability to shut down the Penguins' offense and with the Penguin's defense and goaltending letting them down, again and again, we see the Islanders taking advantage of it and capitalizing and getting this series-clinching win. The Islanders are a good bet at home and with the way they have been playing they know the importance of getting the job done tonight and not giving Pittsburgh another chance. |
05-24-21 | Maple Leafs -156 v. Canadiens | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 39 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Toronto over Montreal (Monday at 7pm) As per your selection on Toronto, this is the game the Leafs need to come out and make a statement that they are in fact the better and more dominant team. The Leafs won Game 2 for their captain and now they must-win Game 3 to put the Canadiens in a very tough spot. The Leafs outplayed the Canadians for about 5 of the 6 periods played so far and if they continue to skate well and move the puck quick, the Canadiens have no shot at winning this series. This is a good price to grab on the better term and we will be all over it here tonight. |
05-22-21 | Golden Knights -113 v. Wild | 4-0 | Win | 100 | 8 h 16 m | Show
4-Unit Play. No. 57. Take Vegas over Minnesota (Saturday at 8pm) Sometimes you just gotta go with what's working. Vegas seems to have found their footing and rhythm against Minnesota and after going behind 2-0 in Game 3, the Golden Knights responded with five unanswered goals. That's going to be demoralizing for the Wild who know their best chance at winning games is by keeping the games low scoring and they've failed to do that. Also, Vegas is finally feeling confident in their ability to beat Minnesota after losing the regular-season series to the Wild in lopsided fashion. Vegas is the better team and they know giving Minnesota a win and new life in the series is bad for their goal of making a deep playoff run. Look for Vegas to come out flying and try and take a commanding 3-1 series lead. |
05-21-21 | Hurricanes -135 v. Predators | 4-5 | Loss | -135 | 8 h 47 m | Show
4-Unit Play. No. 43. Take Carolina over Nashville (Friday at 7pm) As per your selection on Carolina, we've backed them in both games so far this series, so why not try for the hattrick. I fully believe this series has a very high likelihood of ending in four games. Carolina is far and away the better team and even playing on the road won't have much affect as they were a great road team this season. Carolina's PP clicked in Game 2 like I predicted it would and I expect them to keep rolling here and shut down the Preds once again. |
05-19-21 | Predators v. Hurricanes -182 | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 9 h 32 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Carolina over Nashville (Wednesday at 8pm) As per your selection on Carolina, we don't normally like to lay this kind of juice, so we are keeping the units small but we fully expect to cash this ticket. Carolina is the better team. They are better at every position and not even Nashville's supposed advantage in net came to fruition in game one as they gave up four goals and an empty netter. Carolina also went 0-4 on the powerplay and for the second-best PP in the league to do that, you know they are going to want to bounce back and put up some production. AS for Nashville, the only way they can win this game is if they muck it up and keep it to a 2-1 game. I don't see that happening and therefore I'm banking on Carolina to get up 2-0 in the series. |
05-17-21 | Predators v. Hurricanes -154 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 51 m | Show
4-Unit Play. No. 04. Take Carolina over Nashville (Monday at 8pm) As per your selection on Carolina, we believe this is a great spot for them to get the upper hand in the series by taking Game 1. The Canes are the better team, have the better goaltending and have the better defensive and offense records. This game and series will be won and lost on special teams and with Carolina boasting the league's 2nd best power play, and Nashville boasting the 3rd worst penalty kill, we see Carolina capitalizing on their chances and pulling away from the Preds. Not to mention, at 5 on 5, Carolina has more skill and talent. |
05-16-21 | Wild v. Golden Knights -155 | 1-0 | Loss | -155 | 2 h 10 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Vegas over Minnesota (Sunday at 3pm) As per your selection on Vegas, this first game is important to both teams, but I think Vegas needs it more from a psychological perspective. Look, Vegas is the better team. They finished second tied with Colorado for the best record in the league, but they had a losing record against Minnesota in the regular season. I don't expect that to continue as I believe Vegas is Cup Bound if they get one or two breaks go their way. Winning game 1 on home ice will be the start they crave and with solid numbers across the board, I say they get it. |
05-15-21 | Bruins v. Capitals +115 | 2-3 | Win | 115 | 8 h 48 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Washington over Boston (Saturday at 7pm) As per your selection on Washington to get the early lead in the series, we had the UNDER 5.5 in the final regular-season meeting between these two, and Washington won 2-1. In that game, Boston sat out nearly everyone in preparation for this contest. However, Washington is still the better team when the lineups are fully loaded and I think playing at home will give them an edge in Game 1 as they will want to get off to a fast start. The regular-season series was tied up at 4-4, and so this series is going to be close all the way throughout. I think Washington has the upper hand coming into this one as they won 4 of 5 to close the season whereas Boston lost three of five. |
05-14-21 | Maple Leafs v. Jets +139 | 2-4 | Win | 139 | 9 h 21 m | Show
3-Unit Play. No. 044. Take Winnipeg over Toronto (Friday at 8pm) Be sure to get signed up for a season-long package! As per your selection on Winnipeg, this game means nothing to either team as both playoff matches are set in the North Division, but I do believe Winnipeg is the team that needs this game more as they have been spiraling out of control down the stretch and I think a good 60-minutes of hockey against an elite team like Toronto would go along way in prepping them for their playoff series against Edmonton. Toronto has been playing solid hockey of late, but dropping the game to Ottawa the other night, you can tell they are focused on Montreal and now having to travel across the country to Winnipeg in an even more meaningless game, I think we see a little sluggishness out of the group, and I think Winnipeg should be able to pull out the win. |
05-11-21 | Bruins v. Capitals UNDER 5.5 | 1-2 | Win | 102 | 8 h 30 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take UNDER 5.5 Goals - Washington vs Boston (Tuesday at 7pm) As per your selection on the UNDER 5.5 goals in this Washington vs Boston game, we will keep the analysis short and sweet. These two teams are hooking up in the first round of the playoffs and this game is going to set the tone for the playoff series. Look for both teams to start finishing every hit and sending a message to the opponent that they aren't going to be pushed around. Boston has gone UNDER 5.5 in three of their last 5 while Washington is coming off a low-scoring 2-1 game vs Philly. |
05-10-21 | Stars v. Blackhawks +120 | 5-4 | Loss | -100 | 3 h 59 m | Show
6-Unit Play. No. 08. Take Chicago over Dallas (Monday at 8pm) As per your selection on Chicago, despite missing the playoffs, they are playing with a good team spirit and they are getting guys up and down the lineup to buy in and contribute and fight for their jobs for next season. They have won two straight games and we like them to make it three in a row to end the season against a Stars team that is just playing brutal hockey. They had a chance to catch Nashville for the fourth and final playoff spot but blew that shot and now they are out of the postseason and have nothing to play for. Given the fact that this is the Star's final game of the season and the seventh straight road game, we see them mailing it in and trying to get back home as quickly as possible. Expect a poor effort from Dallas, while Chicago comes out and looks to build on some momentum to carry into next season. |

05-08-21 | Hurricanes v. Predators +109 | 1-3 | Win | 109 | 8 h 29 m | Show
5-Unit Play. Take Nashville over Carolina (Saturday at 8pm) As per your selection on Nashville, we believe they will be the hungrier of the two sides tonight and they should skate away to a victory. Look, there's no doubt about who the best team on the ice tonight is - that's Carolina. But the Hurricanes just clinched the division and will have nothing left to play for the remaining few games. Nashville is fighting for their postseason lives and with Dallas winning yesterday to pull within two points of the Preds for fourth, the Preds know they need to find a way to must at least two points in their remaining two games -both against the Hurricanes. That motivation alone should be enough to see the Preds come away with the much-needed win and potentially clinching a playoff birth as early as tomorrow. |

05-07-21 | Stars v. Lightning -143 | 5-2 | Loss | -143 | 8 h 37 m | Show
5-Unit Play. Take Tampa Bay over Dallas (Friday at 7pm) If it ain't broke, it don't need fixing. The Tampa Bay Lightning have dominated the Stars so far this season and I see much of the same here tonight. The Lightning made easy work of the Stars two nights ago winning 6-2. Dallas is on the outside of the playoff looking in and with very few games left it looks like they are going to be hitting the links early. The problem with Dallas is they can't score. They have very few offensive options and the Lightning are among the best teams in the league at both ends of the ice- scoring and keeping the puck out of their net. The Stars will be playing their fifth road game tonight and will travel to Chicago after this for two to finish out the season. With the season essentially done, we don't see the Stars showing up motivated tonight. TB has been dominant at home and are scoring goals for fun. Look for the Lightning to dominate this game and skate out to another comfortable win. |

05-05-21 | Stars v. Lightning -152 | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 8 h 21 m | Show
6-Unit Play. NO. 08. Take Tampa over Dallas (Wednesday at 7pm) As per your selection on Tampa, we are going straight into fading Dallas as we've been doing all season long. Dallas is not a good team and they've lost four straight and are likely to miss out on the postseason. They did get Seguin back in the lineup, but that won't help them here against a Tampa side that has been dominant at home and that is among the best in the league at scoring and keeping the puck out of the back of their net. Tampa comes into this one off a 2-1 win vs the Red Wings, after losing 1-0 in a shootout to them the night before. They've had three days of rest and should be eager to get back on the ice and start putting up some points. Dallas is playing their sixth game in 10 nights and we expect them to be worn down by the third period. Take Tampa at a great price here tonight. |
05-03-21 | Stars v. Panthers -123 | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 36 m | Show
4-Unit Play. No.50. Take Florida over Dallas (Monday at 7pm) As per your selection on Florida, this is a great spot for them to extend their winning streak to four games as they play a Stars team that is really struggling right now. The Panthers have scored 16 goals over their last three games wins and 21 over their last five (going 4-1 overall). The Panthers are playing with a confidence level that is extremely high and is one that we haven't seen them reach yet this season. They are just 2 points back of Carolina for first in the Central and they are tied with Tampa (73 points) for second. This game means a ton to Florida. As for Dallas, well, they aren't very good. They've lost three straight games scoring just 1 total goal and have been shut out in back-to-back games. I don't see them all of a sudden flipping the switch and putting up 5 tonight. Florida is the better team and this is a great price to get them at. |
05-01-21 | Flames v. Oilers -124 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 11 h 7 m | Show
4-Unit Play. No.28. Take Edmonton over Calgary (Saturday at 10pm) As per your selection on Edmonton, we believe this is a good spot for them to bounce back and get a win vs Calgary after losing to them two nights ago 3-1. It was a classic letdown spot for the Oilers and with only one goal scored, we expect them to come out focused and hungry for a win tonight. The Oilers are still in a battle for the second spot in the North Division, so they know how much this game means to them. As for Calgary, yes they won the other night but they've been inconsistent all season long and after a win usually comes two losses for them so we don't see them getting another win here tonight. |
04-29-21 | Islanders v. Rangers -123 | 4-0 | Loss | -123 | 8 h 33 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take New York Rangers over New York Islanders (Thursday at 7pm) As per your selection on the Rangers to get the job done tonight, we like how they come into this game playing some great hockey and winning three straight games. They are a major plus in goal differential on the season but are still fighting for their playoff lives. This game is a must-win for the Rangers if they want to have any hope of catching Boston or the Islanders for the fourth and final playoff spot. The Islanders come into this game in a bit of a funk having dropped three straight games to Washington, twice getting shut out. We expect the Rangers defense to continue the trend of slowing down the Isles attack and the Rangers offense should take care of business. Not to mention, the last time these two teams played the Islanders Won 6-1... revenge time for the Rangers. |
04-28-21 | Oilers -114 v. Jets | 3-1 | Win | 100 | 9 h 20 m | Show
4-Unit Play. No. 41. Take Edmonton over Winnipeg (Wednesday at 9pm) As per your selection on the Oilers to get the win over the Jets, we are going in a straight fade mode of the Jets are they are in complete disarray right now. The team is calling each other out, the coaches and players aren't getting along and the defensive issues are at the forefront once again. They've lost four straight and were never really in any of those games. The Oilers, on the other hand, are playing some good hockey having won three of the last four and in those games, they've given up just 2 goals. The Oilers have McDavid Draisaitle wearing their colors, so they instantly have the best two players on the ice. Look for Edmonton to come out with another win and push closer to securing a playoff birth. |
04-27-21 | Red Wings v. Blue Jackets -136 | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 26 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Columbus -145 over Detroit (Tuesday at 7pm) As per your selection on Columbus, we believe this is a great spot for them to break out of their 9 game losing streak. The Blue Jackets players have all come out and said that they are sick of losing (no surprise) but I think the Jackets are sitting on a good effort here tonight. During their losing streak, they've played three against the Lightning, two against the Panthers, and two against the Stars, all of whom are good teams. Now they take on a Red Wings team who is extremely bad and who has lost three of their last four games and were run out of the building in their last game by Dallas despite just losing 2-1. We don't see the Red Wings going on the road where they are 9 games under .500 and grabbing two points against a pissed off team. |
04-26-21 | Panthers -110 v. Predators | 1-4 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 40 m | Show
5-Unit Play. No. 07. Take Florida over Nashville (Monday at 8pm) Great winner yesterday with Pittsburgh as they got the job done vs Boston to improve our run to 2-0 +900. Let's keep the momentum going here tonight as we take the Florida Panthers. Look, the Panthers are a really good team. They sit second in the Central Division with a record of 31-13-5. They score goals in bunches and play a solid defensive game which has eluded them in the past. They are coming off a good win vs Carolina and have won four of their last five games. They are playing great hockey and with Bobrovsky set to start between the pipes, that gives them a great chance at winning this game. Nashville on the other hand is struggling a bit right now, losers of three of their last five. They struggle to score goals and can't keep the puck out of their net. Look for the talent of Florida to dominate this game and get them the two points. |
04-25-21 | Bruins v. Penguins +112 | 0-1 | Win | 112 | 4 h 35 m | Show
4-Unit Play. Take Pittsburgh -105 over Boston (Sunday at 3pm) As per your selection on Pittsburgh, we believe this is a great spot for them to continue their winning ways. The Pens have won three straight and have put up 16 goals in that time frame and we like them to continue that offensive output against a Bruins team that is very loose defensively. We don't mind the Pens playing on B2B nights as sometimes that's a good way to keep the momentum up and the adrenaline will get them through this contest. The B's are starting their backup goalie today and we just don't see a full effort from them as they are playing their fourth road game in six days. Look for Pittsburgh to come out fast and take the game to Boston early. |
04-24-21 | Maple Leafs -119 v. Jets | 4-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 48 m | Show
5-Unit Play. Take Toronto over Winnipeg (Saturday at 7pm) As per your selection on Toronto, if there was a game vs Winnipeg I thought they would lose it was the last game, but they pulled out a 5-3 win. The Leafs are much more prepared to deal with the Jets' speed and toughness at this point in the season and we see them getting another win to stop some of the bleedings they were suffering prior to their win two nights ago. The Jets simply can't keep the puck out of their net and with the way Matthews, Marner and Tavares are playing right now, it's going to take a perfect effort to keep them off the scoresheet. This game opened up at a lower line than what the Leafs opened up vs Winnipeg in the last game. We'll take the discounted price for whatever reason. |
04-22-21 | Senators v. Canucks -131 | 3-0 | Loss | -131 | 10 h 51 m | Show
3-Unit Play. Take Vancouver over Ottawa (Thursday at 10 pm) As per your selection on Vancouver to pick up their third win in a row, you have to feel that they gained some big-time confidence as they beat Toronto in B2B games. Now they take on a Senators team who is well below average in the NHL despite winning two straight. The Sens average just 2.6 goals per game while giving up nearly 3.6 which is dead last in the league. We believe the Canucks have the better and deeper squad in this one and we see them pulling out another win. |
04-21-21 | Canadiens v. Oilers -133 | 4-3 | Loss | -133 | 11 h 44 m | Show
4-Unit Play. No.78. Take Edmonton over Montreal (Wednesday at 10pm) As per your selection on Edmonton, we have no problem going back to the well with them here after they cashed for us two days ago. The Habs are in a bit of a free-fall mode right now with a bunch of injuries including Carey Price being sidelined for at least a week with a concussion. The Habs are playing some poor hockey and are not scoring many goals. Edmonton continues to play good hockey and with McDavid and Draisaitl going, they can putt up a five-spot on any given night. We expect the Oilers to dominate this game and earn another two points on home ice. |
04-20-21 | Rangers +110 v. Islanders | 1-6 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 52 m | Show
4-Unit Play. NO.59. Take New York Rangers over New York Islanders (Tuesday at 7pm) As per your selection on the Rangers, they are playing some great hockey right now and are just four points out of the fourth and final playoff spot in the East division. This game should mean more to them than the Islanders and they enter this game on a four-game winning streak in which they scored 3,4,6 and 5 goals while posting two shutouts. The Rangers are getting depth scoring up and down the lineup and they rank 4th overall in goals per game which is better than the Isles down in 19th. The Islanders are off a 1-0 win vs Philly, but had lost three of four previous to that. They are ripe for the picking here as they are playing their third road game in four nights. |
04-19-21 | Canadiens v. Oilers -124 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 10 h 12 m | Show
3-Unit Play. No.48. Take Edmonton over Montreal (Monday at 9 pm) As per your selection on Edmonton, anytime we can fade Montreal, we do it. Montreal is not a very good team. Yes, they are above .500 but they are about as inconsistent as any team in the league. They are coming off a 4-0 shutout loss against the terrible Sens and now have to fly across the country with very little rest to play their third game in four nights against an Edmonton team that's off an impressive win and that's won two of their last three games. Edmonton has the best players in their lineup and we'll take them to get another win on home ice. |
04-19-21 | Wild v. Coyotes +133 | 5-2 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 9 m | Show
6-Unit Play. No. 44. Take Arizona over Minnesota (Monday at 9 pm) As per your selection on Arizona, we believe this is a great spot for them to make it two wins in a row and finally snap their losing streak against the WIld. The Coyotes have lost the last four games vs Minnesota and are just 1-5 vs the Wild this season. That trend stops tonight as the Yotes are coming in off a good win against St. Louis where they played well and the confidence level should be high. Arizona is a better team on home ice than on the road (where the last four losses took place), so we expect them to come out hungry and pissed-off and wanting revenge on this team. As for Minnesota, they are a different beast on home ice compared to the road. They. should not be laying -145 in this spot, but we'll gladly take the nice price on Arizona as a home dog to come through for us tonight. |
04-19-21 | Hurricanes v. Lightning UNDER 5.5 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 10 m | Show
3-Unit Play. No. 35/36. Take Under 5.5 in Tampa Bay/Carolina (Monday at 7 pm) As per your selection on the Under, these two teams tend to play each other tightly. In six games already this season the Under 5.5 has hit in four of those games and we see another tight and low scoring affair. Carolina has played to the under in six of their last eight games while Tampa has hit the under in two of their last four. Vasilevskiy let in four goals to the Hurricanes in the last game, so we see him stepping up his game in goal and shutting the door. Great spot to take the under here as a contrarian play. |
