Panthers Super Bowl Odds
15-1 NFC Champions / NFC South Champions
Carolina Panthers Super Bowl Odds -250. It sucks that they make us wait but I think we are getting a pretty good Super Bowl matchup this year, even though the line keeps getting larger in favour of the Panthers. We have the team of the season in Carolina against a really good defensive team with a Hall of Fame quarterback.

I am not sure we need an extra week of hype but I am looking forward to the Big Game.
The Panthers amassed the best record during the regular season. It was certainly not a one man show but no player put his stamp on this year more than Cam Newton, who should collect the MVP award.
Whether it was running, throwing or leading Newton is the signature player of the season and even though a single game can have a player arise from nowhere (see Malcolm Butler) if you have the shiniest star in the galaxy and he touches the ball on every offensive snap you have to like your chances.
Plus you have to love the joy Cam brings to the game.
I am not sure where Ron Rivera rates in terms of coaching acumen but he has his team in the Super Bowl and the guys seem to be singing We Are Family in the locker room if you believe all of the articles.
To win the big game you often have to make some bold calls and Rivera has transformed himself into a guy who can make them. It helps having a weapon like Cam but it also looks like the Panthers might have the edge on the sidelines in this one.
Something that probably would have not been the case if they played the Patriots.
Momentum and Confidence
This group has only lost once all season and in the playoffs they have beaten Seattle – who has played in the last two Super Bowl – and Arizona, who many thought might have been the best team in the league this season.
At this stage of the season everyone should be playing with a high level of confidence but I don’t think there has been a team that is as justified in their position as Carolina since the Pats entered the Super Bowl undefeated.
They belong and usually start fast which is a dangerous combo.
Few Weaknesses For Denver to Exploit
I am not saying the Panthers are perfect but they are well equipped to beat Denver.
The strength of the Broncos is a pass rush and Cam, who is big and strong and a running threat is the perfect quarterback to have to combat that kind of element.
When the Broncos have the ball they will likely want to expose a safety corps that is nothing special but Peyton Manning does not really have the arm to do so like he used to.
They are Just Better
This was the top scoring offense in the league.
I know defense often beats offense in big games but it is not like the Panthers are slouches on that side the ball.
The Broncos will find it hard to do what they want to do against Carolina so unless Peyton has the game of his life or Kubiak has something special up his sleeve the overall level of Carolina should win the day.
