James led the way in scoring with 25 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds, another monster game for James.
Kyrie Irving has been scoring at will last night, but he only put in 21 points but had 8 dimes. Kevin Love produced a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Tristian Thompson had 8 points with 14 boards.
The Cavs look to sweep at home in the second series of the playoffs.
The Hawks played the Cavs very well in game 1, all the way down to the end of the game. They got the majority of their production off the bench with Dennis Schroder.
Shroder poured in 27 points to lead all scorers in the game. The Hawks missed out on some key plays from Jeff Teague, Al Horford and their sharp shooter Kyle Korver.
Missing out on them, also seemed to be missing Damarre Carroll who seemed to have the best shot to guard Lebron in last years series.
Both Kent Bazemore and Paul Milsap had double-double’s. Milsap posted a 17 point, 13 rebound night and Bazemore had 16 points and 12 rebounds.
The Hawks really need to work on the defensive end, or this second game and the whole series could get ugly.
The Hawks look to steal game 2 in Cleveland to head back home for 2.
