Toyota Owners 400 Odds Betting
Gamblers…ready for NASCAR Toyota Owners 400 Odds betting? We have reached the end of the first quarter of the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup series schedule with Sunday’s running of the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway.
NASCAR Sprint Cup – Toyota Owners 400 Preview and Prediction
Race: Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway
Date: Sunday, April 24
Time: 1 p.m. (ET)
The green flag is set to wave at 1 p.m. (ET) and the race will be broadcast nationally on FOX.
This past Sunday, Carl Edwards made a strong push for a spot in this year’s Chase with his victory at Bristol. Dale Earnhardt Jr. posted his second-straight second-place finish and Kurt Busch rounded-out the Top 3 spots in this race.
The following is a look at my top favorite, contender and longshot to win this Sunday’s race in Richmond based on betting odds provided by TopBet.
Toyota Owners 400 Odds – The Favorite (odd of less than 10/1)
It is not all that often that Kevin Harvick fails to finish in the Top 5 of any race, but after winning at Phoenix and placing second at Fontana, the No. 4 car’s seventh-place run at Bristol extended this current drought to three events.
To me, all that points to is a golden opportunity to cash-in on his favorable +600 betting odds to end this mini slide with a victory this time around.
The real value in these odds could be the fact that Harvick won this race in 2013 and he is coming off a second-place finish in last year’s event.
Toyota Owners 400 Odds – The Contender (odds from 10/1 to 19/1)
Betting on NASCAR is all about finding value in the odds. There are five or six drivers that are in position to win every week and when a quality competitor like Brad Keselowski is opened at +1000 odds to win that sounds like a solid pick as my top contender.
Behind the wheel of the No. 2 Ford, he has already made his way to Victory Lane this season with a win at Las Vegas, which always adds value to longer odds.
His all or nothing approach to racing makes him somewhat unpredictable, but I like the fact that despite his 17th-place finish in this race last season he also has a victory to his credit in the second race at Richmond in 2014.
Toyota Owners 400 Odds – The Longshot (odds 20/1 or greater)
If you are willing to give me Dale Earnhardt Jr. at +2000 in any Sprint Cup race, you can guarantee that I am taking those odds.
His current form in the No. 88 car is excellent and you know this team is looking for a strong showing with a stop at Talladega coming up next on the schedule.
Richmond has not been one of Dale Jr.’s favorite tracks over the years with an average finishing position of 13.2, but over the course of his Sprint Cup career he has won here three times.
Another good sign is that his best run in the past three seasons came in the second race at this track in 2015 where he finished fifth.
