The wait is over—dive into our bold take on the 2026 NFL Week 18 Power Rankings and see who’s rising before the next week of games.
As playoff spots tighten, the 2026 Week 18 Power Rankings help separate contenders from pretenders by emphasizing current performance over reputation, which is critical when every result directly impacts postseason seeding.
Next, let’s take a look at Ray Monohan’s 2026 Week 18 NFL Power Rankings for the 2026 season.
Razor Ray’s 2026 Week 18 Power Rankings
1. New England Patriots (13-3)
Drake Maye moved into pole position for the MVP with a dominant performance over the Jets.
Meanwhile, Matthew Stafford sputtered in prime time. Mike Vrabel is the runaway favorite to win the Coach of the Year award in what’s been a dramatic turnaround for the Patriots as they move away from the remnants of the Belichick era.
2. Denver Broncos (13-3)
This year hasn’t gone the way we expected it to for the Broncos. Their defense hasn’t been as stout, and the offense has shown more flaws than strengths. Still, the results speak for themselves, as they’re the AFC West champs with a shot at the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC.
3. Seattle Seahawks (13-3)
In an absolutely loaded NFC West, the Seahawks are in the driver’s seat as the only 13-win team in the conference. They control their own destiny as they’ll play the 49ers this weekend for the NFC West crown and the conference’s top seed.
As a result, John Schneider is well on his way to winning another Executive of the Year award for what he’s done revamping this roster.
4. San Francisco 49ers (12-4)
No team has been hit harder on the defensive side of the ball than the 49ers. However, Robert Saleh has held that unit together just enough to let Kyle Shanahan’s offense shine. With a win this weekend over Seattle, they’ll be the top seed in the NFC and play every game in Santa Clara through the Super Bowl.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars (12-4)
Trevor Lawrence has stepped up in a big way this season, with Liam Coen unlocking what the Jaguars wanted from the former No. 1 overall pick. Because of that, the Jaguars are riding a seven-game winning streak thanks to electric play on both sides of the football.
6. Los Angeles Rams (11-5)
Monday’s loss at Atlanta doesn’t change much in the grand scheme of things for the Rams. However, it did showcase their biggest flaw—the offensive line. With an immobile quarterback in Matthew Stafford, that unit must do a better job keeping him clean.
Eventually, things should improve once Davante Adams returns to take pressure off Puka Nacua.
7. Houston Texans (11-5)
The Texans have gone 11-2 since an 0-3 start that left them all but written off. At the same time, while many playoff teams boast elite offenses with defensive question marks, Houston is the opposite. Their defense is the best in the NFL and may be the best unit on either side of the ball in any postseason matchup.
8. Philadelphia Eagles (11-5)
Despite big names and bigger contracts on offense, the Eagles are in a similar spot to the Texans. Still, their defense continues to bail them out, while the offense struggles to pull away from opponents. Jalen Hurts usually saves his best for the postseason, but they need to reestablish the running game.
9. Buffalo Bills (11-5)
The Bills were on the wrong end of a defensive game-saver by the Eagles when Jalen Carter blocked a crucial extra point. Even so, they won’t win the AFC East but will still have the best quarterback entering the postseason.
10. Chicago Bears (11-5)
They couldn’t close the game late as they’ve done so often this year. Nevertheless, the Bears proved they can go toe-to-toe with elite offenses, as Caleb Williams starred in Sunday night’s shootout in Santa Clara. They’ll need defensive improvement in the playoffs.
