The wait is over — dive into our bold take on the NFL 2025 Week 2 Power Rankings and see who’s rising before preseason kicks off. Let’s take a look at Ray Monohan’s 2025 Week 2 NFL Power Rankings for the 2025 season.
1. 2025 Week 2 Power Rankings – Philadelphia Eagles (1-0)
Even without Jalen Carter, the Eagles’ defense once again picked up the offense in a win to kick off the season. Jalen Hurts did a lot of damage with his legs, but the issues the team’s had throwing the football were present again.
Fortunately, they have plenty of time to work through the kinks in time for the playoffs – but they may need to accelerate that with the Chiefs on tap in Week 2.
2. 2025 Week 2 Power Rankings – Buffalo Bills (1-0)
There’s little the Bills can do to shake off their reputation until they beat the Chiefs in the playoffs, but their comeback win to beat the Ravens was damn impressive. Getting home field advantage would be a great edge for that looming playoff matchup with Kansas City and right now they have a one game edge in that battle.
3. 2025 Week 2 Power Rankings – Baltimore Ravens (0-1)
We saw the best and worst of the Ravens on Sunday night. The rushing attack was on point, and they finished near the top of the AFC last year after an 0-2 start, so no reason to be concerned yet unless they fall flat on their face and go 0-2 again considering they host the Browns in Week 2.
4. Green Bay Packers (1-0)
The NFC North isn’t going to be easy, but the Packers sure made short work of the division favorites on Sunday. Jordan Love looked sharp, and Micah Parsons showed glimpses of the weapon he can be for the defense. They won’t have much time to celebrate as they get right back to it with a Thursday night date with the Commanders.
5. Washington Commanders (1-0)
Speaking of the Commanders, they got off to a good start in a cakewalk matchup with the Giants. Deebo Samuel looks like a good fit in the offense, and they mixed bag of running backs moved the ball well. There’s no sophomore slump coming from Jayden Daniels.
6. Kansas City Chiefs (0-1)
The Chiefs didn’t enjoy their trip to Brazil. The defense disappointed as they struggled to slow the Chargers attack. The offense showed some glimpses of the big play ability they expect to bring back into the fold this year. When they return a healthy Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy that unit can take things to another level.
7. Los Angeles Chargers (1-0)
The Chargers were a popular pick to take the leap in Jim Harbaugh’s second year with the club and they got off to a heck of a start with a win against the Chiefs in Brazil. The offense has more weapons than they did a year ago which could finally unlock the best of Justin Herbert.
8. Los Angeles Rams (1-0)
The Rams were a trendy pick to make it out of the NFC this year and they showed a new side to themselves as the defense took a big step forward in Week 1 against the Texans. As long as Matthew Stafford’s back holds up, they’re as dangerous a team as there is in the AFC.
9. Denver Broncos (1-0)
A lot went wrong for the Broncos in Week 1, but they managed to gut out a victory to start out the season. The defense looked sharp again, but Bo Nix didn’t, throwing two interceptions and losing a fumble. Better things are in store for them.
10. Cincinnati Bengals (1-0)
The Bengals may have turned a corner. After losing a lot of close games last season, they ended up on the right side of one in Week 1. The defense looked a lot more respectable and came away with some key turnovers in a game in which Joe Burrow only threw for 113 yards.
