The wait is over — dive into our bold take on the 2025 NFL Week 12 Power Rankings and see who’s rising before preseason kicks off. Let’s take a look at Ray Monohan’s 2025 Week 12 NFL Power Rankings for the 2025 season.
1. Philadelphia Eagles (8-2)
As frustrating as their offense can be at times, their defense is playing at an incredibly high level and covering up those shortcomings to keep this team elite. Despite all the talent and big names on the offensive side of the ball, this is a defense-first team that’s winning game on the back of Vic Fangio’s unit’s ability to smother opponents into submission.
2. Los Angeles Rams (8-2)
That the Rams lost to the Eagles is the only thing keeping them out of the top spot. Their defense has taken the leap forward many were hoping for from a young and talented group, and the addition of Davante Adams to an already effective offense has helped elevate Matthew Stafford into MVP territory.
3. New England Patriots (9-2)
Another quarterback firmly in the MVP discussion is Drake Maye, who’s elevated his play in year two to the point he’s able to carry a less-established group of skill players. The defense has also quietly been solid in Mike Vrabel’s first year. Credit to the Krafts for making that coaching change which has paid immediate dividends.
4. Denver Broncos (9-2)
It hasn’t always been pretty – and often has been downright ugly to watch – but the Broncos just keep on winning. That unlucky penalty at the end of the Colts game is all that stands between them and being the first team to 10 wins. They’ll need better play out of Bo Nix to get where they want to go.

5. Indianapolis Colts (8-2)
The Colts are coming off their bye this week to meet a Chiefs team coming off a disappointing loss, which could be the recipe for this Colts’ season to come crashing down in a hurry. But if they can beat Kansas City and prove they’re a real threat in the AFC, they could be even higher on this list in the weeks ahead.
6. Buffalo Bills (7-3)
The Bills remain a mystery as to which version of the team will show up on a weekly basis. After falling flat on their face against the Dolphins, they came back and picked up a good win against the Buccaneers. Josh Allen looked like the best version of himself on a six-touchdown day.
7. Green Bay Packers (6-3-1)
The Packers needed Jordan Love to be at his best against the Giants with Josh Jacobs down, and he delivered. They’ll need him to stay at that level with Jacobs likely to miss time. On the other side of the ball, the defense has been doing its job.
8. Seattle Seahawks (7-3)
The Seahawks looked great prior to their loss to the Rams, which was a tough matchup. Their defense has travelled well all year long and has been the catalyst for the team’s success. Sam Darnold wasn’t at his best but they still had a chance to beat the Rams.
9. Baltimore Ravens (5-5)
Don’t look now, but the Ravens have a healthy Lamar Jackson back in tow and have won four games in a row. Their defense has looked like a completely different unit than they did through the first six games, and Jackson of course has the offense humming again.
10. Kansas City Chiefs (5-5)
This isn’t where we expected the Chiefs to be at this point in the season – and they certainly didn’t expect to be 5-5 either! It’s still tough to fully write off a Patrick Mahomes-led team. Until they slide further, they’re still going to be viewed as a championship threat that will just have to take the Wild Card route.
From breakout rookies to revamped rosters, our 2025 NFL Week 12 Power Rankings break down every team’s trajectory heading into the season.
