The Baltimore Ravens will travel to Cincinnati Houston to face their inter-divisional foes to wrap up their 2020 season. The Ravens enter coming off a controlling home victory over the New York Giants to push their win streak to 4 and staying in contention for the playoffs.
The team is currently sitting in the 6th seed for the playoffs and in control of their own destiny as a win Sunday will give Baltimore a Wild Card spot. With a loss they will still have a chance to make the playoffs but will need either a Cleveland (vs Pittsburgh) or Indianapolis (vs Jacksonville) loss to clinch.
The Cincinnati Bengals look to extend their win streak to 3 games after defeating the Houston Texans in a shootout in week 16. Cincinnati looked dead in the water after losing potential franchise quarterback Joe Burrow to injury in week 9.
The Bengals were winless in his absence going 0-5 as their offensive play looked mediocre without a steady replacement for his production. Regardless of this fact the team has continued to fight in the last quarter of the year for coach Zac Taylor and secured impressed road victories back to back against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Houston Texans.
Cincinnati now sits with 4 wins on the season, doubling their win total from last year and can undoubtedly call this rebuilding season a success already.
The Ravens are in a favorable matchup this game as road favorites needing a win to secure a playoff spot against a Bengals team that is out of contention but has shown fight lately.
Baltimore has been handed an easy end of the year schedule with their remaining 5 opponents combining for an abysmal record of 27-47-1 with only one of those teams having over 6 wins. That could not have come for a better time for the Ravens as they were reeling at 6-5 with a slim chance of making the postseason if they were not able to straighten the ship.
Luckily for them they have avoided any upsets and now find themselves back in a wild card spot and will look to secure their seat at the table with a win Sunday.
The Bengals will try to play spoilers at home this week and pick up another win in an already successful season. The win column has not been filled with too many W’s this year but has been relative to last year en route to the #1 pick and Joe Burrow.
Coach Zac Taylor has undoubtedly secured his job for another season after showing continued growth of his team in only his second season. Cincinnati is currently sitting in the #5 spot for the 2021 NFL draft but could fall all the way to #10 with a victory this week so it will be interesting to see if there will be any reshuffling on the table for several teams.

- Baltimore’s offense avg. 28.7ppg (8th), Cincinnati’s offense avg. 20.5ppg (27th)
- Baltimore’s defense allows 20ppg (4th), Cincinnati’s defense allows 25.7ppg (20th)
4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Bengals +12
This line is large although Baltimore has covered in 4 straight and needs the victory much greater than Cincinnati does I don’t see them beating the brakes off the Bengals. Cincinnati has continued to show fight and won 2 straight and will want to give Baltimore their best as the season concludes rather than roll over for them.
On the other side I can see Baltimore having a lead early and decide to take their foot off the gas in order to rest some players for a more important week 18 wild card matchup. This tentativeness could lead to a backdoor cover for the Bengals to secure the ATS win.
