It’s been a rough start for the Red Storm and the Green Wave early in the season.
Both teams come into this match up on a five game losing streak.
Both have had tough schedules in this early season, so Friday’s game is a good chance to get a key non conference win.
Saint Johns Red Storm
Saint Johns led by head coach Chris Mullen desperately need a win to try and get their season on the right track.
After winning their first two games of the year, the Red Storm have suffered five straight losses. Two of the loses were against Minnesota and VCU. They have not been blown out in any of the five loses, but most have been by 10 points or more.
The Red Storm are led by Freshman Marcus LoVett who has NBA dreams. He is averaging 18.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists.
His best game of the season came against the Golden Gophers in which he scored 31 points and dished out 5 assists.
This is the second away game of the year for Saint Johns.
Unlike the first game that was in a hostile environment in Minnesota, this should be a much quieter crowd. Tulane’s arena holds over 4000 people but in the first game the attendance was `1239 people.
Tulane Green Wave
For the Green Wave to win this game they need to have a good home crowd advantage. They need more then the 1239 fans that showed up in their only win of the season, against Southeastern Louisiana.
The Green Wave are led by first year head coach Mike Dunleavy Sr. This is his 18th season coaching, but the first at the college level.
This is a very good hire for Green Wave, but it might take a few years to see the results of the hire.
Tulane has been at least kept most of the games close early in the season in what has been a tough schedule, but has not been able to pull out any wins since the first game of the season.
Tulane is lead by Junior guard Cameron Reynolds. He is averaging 16.4 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.
For Tulane to win this game they need to step up on the defensive end. They are giving up over 80 points a game. If they give up 80 points to Saint Johns they will have no chance to win this game.

Free Saint Johns Red Storm vs. Tulane Green Wave NCAAB Prediction:
Both teams are going to be desperate for win and start their weekend on the right note.
If the Green Wave can slow down Marcus LoVett they will have a great chance to win this game, but they have to focus on stopping him first.

LoVett is going to be way much for the Green Wave to handle. He will take over the game and help Saint Johns win pretty easily.
