The Musketeers did not do themselves any favors from shooting 13 for 29 from the charity stripe, which in a game they lost by 7 is certainly going to haunt them.
So, let’s dig into this thing a little further and see what we like.
Providence Friars
The Friars do not shoot themselves in the foot the way Xavier did today. They are shooting .731 from the foul line this season.
What might come as a surprise to most however is that this 11th ranked team everyone has a wagon heading into the tournament ranks pretty low in shooting percentage metrics.

Simas Lukosius, Chuck Harris, Bo Hodges, and Piece Thomas. This team has some stud players.
If Chuck stays out of foul trouble and Lukosius stays hot I like them to cover this spread. But at the end of the day, we’re talking about a 14-18 team going up against a 24-4 team.
