Here is a look at 5Dimes‘s betting odds to win both Sunday’s race and the 2016 Sprint Cup title in NASCAR’s version of the Final Four.
Jimmie Johnson: 2016 Ford EcoBoost 400 Odds: +350
Odds to Win Sprint Cup Title +200
Johnson worked his way into position to win a seventh-career Sprint Cup title with a victory at Charlotte to advance to the Field of 8 followed by a victory at Martinsville to punch his ticket to NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Final Four.

This is the main difference between the previous two seasons when the No. 48 Chevrolet bowed out early in the Chase.
The simple fact that Johnson is in position to win another title adds all the value in the world to these odds given his past ability to win races when so much is on the line.
Kyle Busch: 2016 Ford EcoBoost 400 Odds: +500
Odds to Win Sprint Cup Title +260
The second-favorite to win both this race as well as a second-straight Sprint Cup title is more than capable of spoiling Johnson’s title run, but I do not think Busch will get it done.
He is coming off a very successful run in the first nine races in this year’s Chase with six finishes inside the Top 5, but the No. 18 Toyota racing team has yet to put it all together to actually win one of those events.
If Johnson was not in the field, Busch would be the logical pick, but I have him once again coming up just short in one last Chase event this year even with last season’s win at Homestead-Miami.
Joey Logano: 2016 Ford EcoBoost 400 Odds: +700
Odds to Win Sprint Cup Title: +300
The future for Logano continues to be extremely bright considering everything he has already accomplished at the tender age of 26.
He was in this same exact position two years ago and came up well short with a 16th-place finish in the title race.

I fully expect the No. 22 Ford to be right in the mix this time around following last week’s victory at Phoenix, but he is not going to get past veteran drivers like Johnson and Busch with a Sprint Cup title on the line.
Carl Edwards: 2016 Ford EcoBoost 400 Odds: +700
Odds to Win Sprint Cup Title: +300
Edwards could be a very interesting pick to round out this field of four, but his actual betting odds do not have the same amount of value as the top two drivers on this list.
The No. 19 Toyota does have some momentum on its side following a recent victory at Texas to clinch a spot in this field.
None the less, I am going to have to pass on Edwards given his recent track record at Homestead-Miami with four-straight runs outside the Top 10.
