Last year’s Toyota Owners 400 winner Kyle Busch again leads the field after taking the Food City 500 checkered flag Sunday. Busch swept his two races on the 3/4 mile flat track in 2018 and currently holds a 27 point standings lead over Denny Hamlin.
Hamlin, with two wins this season, sits just outside the projected top-five Richmond favorites at 10/1 odds. Meanwhile, Joey Logano and Kevin Harvick lead a tight pack all seeking a moonlit victory lap.
Here’s a closer look at who you should keep an eye on and why.
Race time is set for 7:30 p.m. (ET) and it will be broadcast nationally on Fox. Here is a look at 5Dimes betting odds to win Sunday’s NASCAR Food City 500
Kyle Busch: 2019 Toyota Owners 400 Odds: 2/1
Busch now owns the distinction of being heaviest MEC favorite this year at 2/1. And, as noted, for good reason. Busch’s five career Toyota Owners 400 wins trails only RIchard Petty, who won the event six times.

Further, Busch has six top ten finishes in his last seven starts at Richmond Raceway –and five wins at the track from his Xfinity Series days. This pick seems too easy.
Joey Logano: 2019 Toyota Owners 400 Odds: 7/1
One of only four MEC drivers to claim victory this season, Logano holds two wins and eleven top ten finishes at Richmond. Nine of Logano’s last ten finishes at Richmond have come inside the ten best. Those results make the no. 22 Ford driver a great pick to challenge Busch’s dominance on Saturday.
Brad Keselowski: 2019 Toyota Owners 400 Odds: 7/1
With two wins on his 18-19’ ledger, and four finishes inside the top-five and four inside the top-ten, Keselowski ranks among the stacked ‘7-to-1′ crew for this weekend’s start.
[dfads params=’groups=246&limit=1&return_javascript=1’]
Keselowski is running strong and hopes to run a little stronger at a track he won in 2014 -and has nine top ten finishes at. The 2018 Brickyard 400 champion has a solid reputation at Richmond and his no. 2 Ford is peaking. Keselowski is now ranked fifth on the MEC leaderboard after a strong Food City 500 performance.
Kurt Busch: 2019 Toyota Owners 400 Odds: 25/1
This week’s value pick is the older Busch brother who slots at 25/1 odds but has performed well historically on this track. A 2015 Toyota Owners 400 winner, Busch also has fifteen top-ten finishes at Richmond. Following last week’s near defeat of his younger brother, Busch has momentum.
Other drivers to watch include: Kyle Larson (potential value pick), Martin Truex Jr., Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick
