NASCAR Handicapping
The Nascar All-Star awaits this Sunday evening and there is not surprise that Kyle Larson heads the market as the race favorite currently being offered at just +333 to win the race. There are plenty of contenders this Sunday, however, as guys like Chase Elliot and Kyle Busch are primed to push Larson all the way to the checkered flag.
Kyle Larson: NASCAR 2021 Nascar All-Star Race Race Odds: +333
Kyle Larson is the big favorite to pick up this win as he has been lights-out so far this season and he gets the pole, but there are some concerning statistics that may point to an upset. His average finish on intermediate wear type of tracks is just 7th, so it will be interesting to see whether or not the big favorite can get the job done here.
Chase Elliot: NASCAR 2021 Nascar All-Star Race Race Odds: +750
Chase Elliot is another one of the favorites, although there is a big gap between the second favorite and Larson, and he is another guy who will be looking to buck some trends, as his average running position is just 7.1 at low-wear intermediate tracks.
Kyle Busch: NASCAR 2021 Nascar All-Star Race Race Odds: +800
Kyle Busch has been awesome in the 550 horse power package with an average finish of 4.4, so it might be worth keeping an eye on the car with the M and M’s on it, as Busch may very well end up picking up this win at a very decent +800 price.
Denny Hamlin: NASCAR 2021 Nascar All-Star Race Race Odds: +800
It is hard to recommend Hamlin here, as he has not been quite as effective this year and his underlying metrics in this particular race or not great so going elsewhere in this +800 range might be advised.
Ryan Blaney: NASCAR 2021 Nascar All-Star Race Race Odds: +1200
Ryan Blaney is another guy who has been struggling here in 2021, but he still has quality equipment, and the 550 horse power package suits him very well and his high green flag speed will carry over well into Texas Motor Speedway this Sunday night.

Here’s my 2021 Nascar All-Star Race Betting Prediction: Kyle Busch to win the Nascar All-Star Race at +800
The most likely winner of this race is no doubt Kyle Larsson, as he is the deserved favorite and has been on an absolute tear so far this year. I do believe that Kyle Busch offers far better value though, as he starts in 2nd right beside Larsson and given what we have seen from Busch this year he can certainly push the race favorite.
There is also plenty of this betting market being taken up by drivers who have big names, but a very low chance of success, as I think Larsson and Kyle Busch are the two likeliest winners by far and guys like Chase Elliot are currently being offered at odds of +750 allowing us to get value on guys like Kyle Busch.
Kyle Busch’s average running position and green flag speed has been solid here in 2021 and I think we see one of Nascar’s brightest stars cash at +800 with all the eyeballs placed squarely on Texas Motor Speedway this Sunday.
