A lot of people will have eyes on this game and not only because it’s the Dallas Cowboys, but also because of the crazy amount of hype the Arizona Cardinals come into this season with as they are expected to take a big step forward.
Even with the Cardinals being a very interesting team, the vast majority of people will be watching for the Cowboys, as they are the most popular team in the country and are also the team on Hard Knocks.
That will bring in plenty of extra eyeballs and it should be a great game at least on paper, and the bookies agree as they have posted this total at 40 which is pretty high for a preseason game.
Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys are going to be hungry to bounce back off of a bad 2020 campaign that saw their star QB go down with injury. Unfortunately for Cowboys fans it does not appear as though Dak is fully healthy and this entire season will rest at his shoulders, as this team has no real backup plan to him.
Zeke is coming into this season in incredible shape if Instagram pictures are anything to go by and I would expect him to have a big season even if he may not play a big part in this Friday’s contest with the Cardinals.
Micah Parsons was brought in with the Cowboy’s 11th pick in the draft and it would not be all that surprising to see him turn around this Dallas defense, as watching his tape from Penn State was impressive as he looks like an elite level inside linebacker.
Arizona Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals come into this season with plenty of belief that they can make a splash in the NFC West, and that is justified when you look at this roster as they have a ton of talent and an excellent QB who will likely take a big leap in year 3.
We probably will not see a lot of Kyler Murray here, as we should see more of Colt McCoy and Chris Streveler which for a preseason NFL game is not actually a bad duo, so I could see them having some success here.
There are still some question marks about the coaching in Arizona, but I think they will have these guys ready to go and they will need to be in order to match the intensity of the Dallas Cowboys who are coming into this game after losing the Hall of Fame game.
