The Chicago White Sox will be in Detroit for game two of a four-game series against the Tigers on Friday evening.

Right-hander Reynaldo Lopez will take the hill for the South Siders on Friday. He enters the game with a 4.72 ERA, 103 strikeouts and will be looking to improve his record to 5-9.

Lopez has had some struggles against the Tigers in the past, giving up a total of nine RBIs against Detroit’s projected lineup.

Detroit Tigers

The Tigers will be looking for a second consecutive win on Friday and have been able to land in the winning column in four of their previous 10 games. They will need to build off of Thursday’s offensive production.

Points have been hard to come by for the Tigers, crossing the plate just 22 times in their previous five games. Before Thursday’s win, they had only scored four runs in their 18 innings of play.
