It’s easy to get excited about what the Jazz or doing, or be concerned about the health of Anthony Davis – and they’ll certainly need him to be healthy come playoff time.
But this is a team with a championship pedigree and a clearly motivated LeBron James. Sky’s the limit.
2021 NBA Championship Futures Betting Lines: Brooklyn Nets +400
There have been some ugly losses for this team with its new big-three in tow, and keeping Kevin Durant on the court continues to be a problem. Even so, we’ve seen glimpses of how dominant this team can be closing out games in a playoff setting with three elite options for taking those critical shots.
2021 NBA Championship Futures Betting Lines: Los Angeles Clippers +550
The Clippers need to get Paul George back on the court, and they need Lou Williams to start scoring with a little more consistency. One the bright side, Kawhi Leonard appears to be healthy and isn’t sitting out too many games, and George has been dialed in thanks to added motivation after his poor play in the bubble.

2021 NBA Championship Futures Betting Lines: Philadelphia 76ers +1400
The Sixers still have a problem with three-pointers despite a roster that shouldn’t have such a problem, but under Doc Rivers they’ve quickly figured out a formula that works for them, establishing themselves as the true team to beat out East.
2021 NBA Championship Futures Betting Lines: Denver Nuggets +3000
The Nuggets have dealt with some injuries, but have kept their foot on the gas in the tight Western Conference standings.
They’ve been getting some solid play out of their bench, and are unearthing new complimentary pieces seemingly every night out, but they’ll of course only go as far as star Nikola Jokic carries them, and right now, he’s in the MVP conversation.
2021 NBA Championship Futures Betting Lines: Phoenix Suns +4000
The Suns continue to build on their momentum from the bubble, with the addition of Chris Paul paying immediate dividends. They have a real shot at not only making the postseason, but doing so in advance of the play-in.
The play: 76ers +1400
2021 NBA Championship Futures Betting Lines: Golden State Warriors +6000
They may not be as dominant as they’ve been in past years, and Steph Curry may no longer be a sexy name in MVP conversations, but he’s played lights out this season. He’ll need some more help from the players around him to carry this team to the next level, but don’t count this team out entirely for as long as he’s around.
2021 NBA Gambling Future Lines: Toronto Raptors +7000
The Raptors have dealt with a litany of injuries, but have done a nice enough job of weathering them. The most positive note to come out of the last couple weeks has been the return to form of Pascal Siakam, as well as the emergence of Fred VanVleet as a potential All-Star.
Nick Nurse has proven he knows how to push all the right buttons to keep this team pointed in the right direction, and as the roster gets healthy, that should become even more apparent. This is a team with a championship pedigree that shouldn’t be overlooked.
2021 NBA Gambling Future Lines: New Orleans Pelicans +15000
The Pels really need to improve their play at the defensive end. They have a terrific one-two punch at the offensive end to build around in Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram, but they really need to solidify things at the defensive end to avoid getting outscored every night.
