After a wild weather weekend at TPC, players and fans alike are welcoming the 2022 Valspar, with open arms.
Last weekend was historic to say the least, as the first round wasn’t fully completed till Saturday, due to flash flooding and extreme wind gusts.
Due to a very tough course(Copperhead), this weekend may prove to be as difficult as last weeks, minus the weather, thankfully.
2022 Valspar Championship Free Golf Betting Odds: Top 20 – Brooks Koepka +120
As much as Koepka’s struggled this year, this course plays heavily into his playing style, as it showcases long par 3’s, and par 5’s
That being said, Brook’s has yet to win this season, or even break into the top 5, unfortunately.
Although, he’s captured the top 20 spot twice this year, and on a whim, we’re siding with him to place decently.
2022 Valspar Championship Free Golf Betting Odds: Top 10 – Collin Morikawa +110
Surprisingly, the third odds on favorite to win this week, missed the cut last weekend. Although, the tough weather conditions clearly played a major factor.
To add to this, he’s only played 2 other tournaments in 2022, and placed T5 on one, and 2nd on the other.
All things considered, we’re siding with Collin to shake off last week’s horrendous play, and bounce back strong with a top 10 finish.
2022 Valspar Championship Free Golf Betting Odds: Top 5 – Justin Thomas +185
The favorite in this weekends championship is a shock to some, but obvious to others. He has yet to break into the top 5 this year, but is favored ahead of last years winner.
That being said, he’s a very capable golfer, who’s arguably the best mechanically, in this lineup. Furthermore, he placed 5th at the sentry, with the best roster in golf.
In conclusion, Thomas shouldn’t have an issue placing in the top 5 in this situation, and we wouldn’t be surprised if he win’s it all.
2022 Valspar Championship Free Golf Betting Odds: Winner – Matthew Fitzpatrick +2500
Fitzpatrick is beginning to look like a young breakout star, as he’s surprised many by breaking into the top 10, on 3 out of 4 courses in 2022. Also, his only unsuccessful weekend, was during last weeks catastrophe at Players.
In a longshot, we’ve decided to choose the young and talented, Fitzpatrick, to capture his first ever PGA tour win.
