Whatever tournament follows the Waste Management Phoenix Open always has some big shoes to fill. Usually the Pebble Beach Pro-Am accomplishes that just fine, but there will be no amateurs and celebrities playing this year.
So we won’t see Bill Murray or Aaron Rodgers at Pebble Beach, but the way things are going Tom Brady probably would’ve just won this thing anyways. It will be an interesting weekend, with Patrick Cantlay coming in as the +750 favorite.
2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Free Golf Betting Odds: Daniel Berger +1600
It’s going to be a nice payout whoever wins this weekend, since Dustin Johnson has withdraw and the favorite Cantlay is still up there at +750. Daniel Berger can definitely be leading come Sunday afternoon.
Berger missed the cut at the WMPO, but had finished in the top 10 his two previous tournaments and has landed in the top 25 in 4 of 5 besides the Waste Management Open.
Berger has hit 71.3% of his GIR over the past month, which is 8th best in this field. Pebble Beach is unusually small which plays into Berger’s style as he has a top 5 and two top 10s in his three appearances here.
2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Free Golf Betting Odds: Jason Day +2000
Experts are calling this the weakest field in recent history for the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, which can only help Jason Day. This course is traditionally where Day plays some of his best golf, averaging a 16th place finish in the last 10.
Day has some stats that play well at this short course as well. He leads the field in shots gained on Par 72s under 7200 yards, and is 5th in total strokes gained at Pebble Beach over the last 24 rounds. Day finished 4th here last year.
What you don’t like is the fact that Day has missed the cut in his last two tournaments, and three of his last four. He also has a 7th and a 12th place finish though, so he’s either really good or really bad.
2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Championship Free Golf Betting Odds: Kevin Streelman +3000
Streelman was the runner up at Pebble Beach last season, finishing 4-strokes behind Nick Taylor who just roared out of the gates with a 63 on Thursday and a 66 on Friday. Streelman shot 69 or under in all four rounds.
Streelman was 2nd in GIR at Pebble Beach last year (76.4%) and led the field with 23 birdies. Playing well at Pebble is nothing new though, as he has a top 5 and three top 10s here.
2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Free Golf Betting Odds: Henrik Norlander +5000
Henrik Norlander is coming around. After missing two cuts to start the year, Norlander has finished 12th, 2nd, and 22nd the last three. A 71 on Friday doomed him last week, as his other three rounds were 68 or better.
Norlander has also made 3 of 4 cuts at Pebble Beach, but once again had a bad Friday round here last year with a 73. He still finished T25 though.
2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Free Golf Betting Odds: Matt Jones +8000
Jones is one of the most experienced golfers at Pebble Beach, making the cut in 10 of 13 tries here. He has a top 5 and 3 top 10 finishes over that span but once again the weaker field is to Jones’ advantage.
Jones shot 69 or better in all four rounds at the WMPO last week, which isn’t great (T30) but he also didn’t have the meltdown day either. Jones had a 65 on Pebble Beach on Saturday last year, helping him to a T5 finish.
