Some of the biggest news this week has been Dustin Johnson testing positive for COVID-19. He was going to be one of the favorites, but had to back out of the tournament.
2020 CJ Cup Free Golf Betting Odds: Justin Thomas 10-1
He won this tournament last year and is one of the top golfers on the planet. With Dustin Johnson out, Justin Thomas is the man to beat.
His odds still aren’t as good as the number one player in the world, Jon Rahm, but I still like Thomas more than him to win at Shadow Creek.
This is a really safe bet for this weekend as he is likely to be in contention. Thomas doesn’t miss many cuts.

This will be the first tournament that Rory McIlroy has played since the US Open. He will be rested and ready to go for Shadow Creek.
He hasn’t won in almost a year, so he is due. I really like him to come out and play well this weekend. At 12-1, he will be my pick to be on top of the leaderboard on Sunday.

Brooks Koepka won this tournament back in 2018. When he is playing well, he is a tough guy to beat.
