2019 PGA The Sony Open Preview and Picks
Ready to bet on this week’s 2019 The Sony Open betting odds? The PGA Tour is in Hawaii this weekend in what should be an exciting weekend of golf. This is a nice field that should make for a very competitive field and a quality Sunday filled with a lot of good play.

With all of that in mind who should we be keeping an extra eye on this week? Let’s break it down.
2019 The Sony Open Favorites:
Justin Thomas 11/2
Justin Thomas is the biggest name in the field this weekend and is also the favorite, although this is a guy that I am staying away from.

Although I think he has a good weekend I don’t think he is playing well enough right now to win, and there is a lot more value other places in the field.
Bryson Dechambeau 10/1
Bryson Dechambeau finished off last year strong and looks poised for another big year in 2019 and if you want one of the favorites this is probably your guy.
DeChambeau played well last week finishing in seventh place and as long as his putting is on this week, he should be right there near the top.
2018 The Sony Open Contenders:
Jordan Spieth 13/1
Jordan Spieth is really struggling to find his golf game but he is a nice juicy price coming into this one. This is Speith’s first event of the season and his last event last year he missed the cut.
It’s hard to know how exactly he will golf here and he hasn’t had a ton of success here in year’s past but you won’t find him at much better of a price than this.
Matt Kuchar 35/1
Matt Kuchar has had a lot of success in his career playing at the windier island courses over his career and that should suit him well as the winds should be up in this tournament.
Kuchar has a win back in November and he is coming in at a really good price.

2019 The Sony Open Sleeper (40/1 or higher):
Adam Scott 55/1
Adam Scott had a really nice season last year and although it didn’t result in a lot of wins, his game is heading in the right direction.
This is a place he has had success and if you are looking for a longshot he is your guy.
2019 The Sony Open Picks:
The guy I do really like is – Matt Kuchar to have a nice tournament and end up on top on Sunday Afternoon.
After just missing out on it last weekend, he will get the job done this week.
