So first up we’ll take a look at the road team. As I mentioned before the Capitals are coming off a thrilling win against the Oilers arch rival Flames last night in a game where the Great 8 scored two goals that puts him in a tie with Jagr on the all time goals list.

The Capitals are now 17-7-4 on the road this year and are winners of 3 straight games. And although this is not a division game, I feel it noteworthy to mention that they are 10-5-1 within the metropolitan which is completely stacked.
Maybe something to pay attention to as we head into the deadline and seeding gets decided.
Edmonton Oilers
Where do I even begin with this team. They are 14-12 at home this year, traveling north to play hockey used to be a difficult road trip teams did not look forward too.
Not so much the sentiment you imagine these teams feel nowadays, especially when they see that Mike Smith is starting. Oiler opponents lick their chops at the sight of the lineup sheet being submitted.
I am done with the Coilers and so should you be. This team is also struggling to score as of late.
