So this game will continue a trend for me. I like betting hockey teams like Nashville, Edmonton, Dallas this time of year I’m sure you get where I am going with this.
Nashville is in the thick of the race with those two other squads and are playing hungry. I still scratch my head when I see this team struggle while looking at their roster.
I am a believer in this Predators team especially with the way Saros is playing.
So with that said let’s look a little closer into this one and see which side needs to get it.
Nashville Predators
Nashville is on a two game heater and is 7-3 in their last ten. They are red hot on this stretch and are getting good production from up and down their lineup.

They are tough to evaluate in terms what they plan to do at the deadline. I am not so sure this team would want to give up prospects and/or draft picks to get a rental for a run.
I do not think that’s the direction they want to go I am pretty sure they understand what they are up against this season.
That said, obviously every team wants playoff success and it seems like they will get in this season. But this season is far from over for these teams who are on the bubble.
Moving forward I recommend betting these good teams who are on the fringe. A hungry dog runs faster.
Philadelphia Flyers
Philly has lost three straight and once again just look like a dumpster fire. They just resigned Ristolainen to a big extension which was a head scratcher.
They also deploy Keith Yandle in a massive role playing a lot of minutes and he has fallen off a cliff in recent seasons. quite frankly he is among the worst players in the whole NHL.
