It sure feels like the Wolves could be a major contender if they can get a natural point guard before the trade deadline, because that’s the key piece that is missing.
Denver is in the middle of a hellish schedule segment but have survived while missing their defensive anchors. That will change in the New Year when both return and the Nuggets look to retain their league best offense while adding back in a defensive focus.
That said, after a loss, we typically see the Nuggets roar back with a victory, and although it’s doubtful Jokic cares he’s playing on Christmas, he and Murray haven’t failed to put on shows and produce the most exciting games of Christmas Day the last few seasons.
