Week 3 college football sees the Rebels and Yellow Jackets meeting at Bobby Dodd Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Rebels are favored by -17 points in this non-conference matchup, and we have a 63.5 being shown on the total.
Ole Miss Rebels
The Rebels arrive to Atlanta ranked 20th in the land and they have not been challenged a bit yet. Two easy wins over Troy and Central Arkansas doesn’t give us much to work with and I am surprised that Layne Kiffin would even bother scheduling Central f**king Arkansas! Hey, I get that the money they get for those FCS affairs is worth it to some folks in the banking department, but in the football department that is just horrible.
A home game with Tulsa is on deck for these mighty Rebels, so that could be such a great game, right? My God, Ole Miss will be so favored in that game that we might not even be able to care about the line so what is Kiffin doing here?
If preparing for a big SEC slate means playing 4 teams with no chance to even hang around with you, than it might be a long season. It’s easy to win 10 games a year when you play Austin Peay, Tulane, Tulsa and Georgia Tech constantly, so let’s just say I am not even remotely impressed.
Luke Altmyer started last weekend’s game but he eventually came out with an injury and that gave Jaxson Dart a look under center. Dart looked good completing 10 of his 15 passes with a pair of touchdown passes, but again, Central Arkansas in a blowout is not going to build a ton of confidence. Did it help? Sure, and Altmyer is listed as the expected starter this weekend so he will be back apparently. At this point, I might take the USC transfer over Altmyer, but Kiffin has options to work with now.
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
Well, Geoff Collins is likely coaching his last season in Atlanta, because all he has produced to this point is a trio of 3-win seasons. The ACC is going to look different soon and we are hearing that Georgia Tech could potentially join the Big Ten?
Holy shit, if this current team was playing in the Big Ten they would be held without a win during conference play and they’d have to keep scheduling Western Carolina type of programs to find wins. Oh, wait, that’s what they are worth right now in the ACC, so I cannot fathom a team in this shape being invited to do anything right now.
Geoff Collins needs to pick up gear and get the hell out of town for this program to be taken seriously, and if that’s too harsh for you to understand? Cry me a river and don’t call me Argentina!
PROOF? Oh, you need some proof? How about when the season over you come back to me and tell me how many wins this team picked up in 2022! Western Carolina, baby! Woo Hoo! There’s a big one!
This team is about to go the rest of the season and lose every game, so it will just be a matter if they can cover a few games and make a game or two challenging this year.
Yes, I don’t even think they’ll manage to find a W against Central Florida next week, and then the ACC portion of the schedule kicks in and you can forget about it <<< In my best Brooklyn accent which I can do better than Joey from Friends!
Until Geoff Collins is deleted from the program, this team is junk, sorry!

4* Free Ole Miss Rebels vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets NCAA Betting Final Analysis:
Does that say 63.5? Did someone punch the line setter in the neck and he fell and hit his head? How the hell on God’s green earth are these two going to produce a 40 – 35 type of game? We’d be needing close to 70 points to hit the over and I vote no! No thank you!
If you are a teaser and pleaser kind of bettor, move that thing up and play it under all day and twice on Saturday! It might come close, but it won’t go over the number.
