Dave B’s Fantasy 5 TE Rankings – DFS
Rob Gronkowski suddenly has some company in the top tier of Fantasy Tight Ends – Travis Kelce and Tyler Eifert made quite a big name for themselves in Week 1. There are suddenly five great options at Tight End this week.

Let’s take a look at all of them in the top 5 Fantasy TE plays for Week 2.
1. Rob Gronkowski – New England Patriots
vs. Buffalo Bills
How about five catches for 94 yards and three TDs to start off the season?
[dfads params=’groups=224&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
Ya – Gronk is good. He likely won’t find as much room this week against a stout Buffalo defense but there is little doubt that he is the best TE play on the planet right now. He caught seven balls last year for 94 yards – expect him to come close to those numbers and to add a score or two onto the stats.
2. Travis Kelce – KC Chiefs
vs. Denver Broncos
I like Kelce to build on a 6 catch, 106 yard, 2 TD performance from Week 1 – he was sensational and looks to finally be realizing his enormous potential.
[dfads params=’groups=228&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
Kelce may be on the cusp of top tier Tight End status and is an obvious favorite of Alex Smith. Kelce is #2 on my list this week and can be expected to catch 6 balls for 75 yards and a TD – at least!
3. Jimmy Graham – Seattle Seahawks
vs. Green Bay Packers
Caught six passes for 51 yards and a red zone TD – he was used exactly how most envisioned – a good sign for Graham and the Seahawks as a whole. In Week 2 we can expect more of the same – he could even see more action this week in a potential shootout. Graham is a Stud and as long as Russell Wilson doesn’t forget about him is a weekly Top 5 guy – easily. Look for another 6 catches for 60-75 yards and a TD this week.
4. Greg Olsen – Carolina Panthers
vs. Houston Texans
The best receiving option on the Panthers is in line for a big week – OC Mike Shula has vowed to get Olsen more involved this week and rightfully so. He was relatively quiet last week – something that can’t continue if the Panthers hope to have any success this year. Olsen is a terror – capable of doing some major damage against a Houston team that was exposed last week.
5. Tyler Eifert – Cincinnati Bengals
vs. San Diego Chargers
The newest TE Stud Tyler Eifert was the surprise of Week 1 – I don’t expect a dropoff in his numbers this week. Nine catches for 2014 yards and 2 TDs last week was a serious effort.
[dfads params=’groups=223&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
He out-targeted AJ Green and was Andy Dalton’s first option – a good sign for Eifert owners going forward. Six catches, 75 yards and a TD aren’t out of the question this week – easily top 5 among Tight Ends this week.
