The Montreal Canadiens, who finally got back to their winning ways on Saturday, will look for another road win as they take on the Columbus Blue Jackets Monday night.

The Blue Jackets haven’t had anything to cheer for this season, and the 2015-16 campaign is a lost cause for them.
Montreal
The Montreal Canadiens snapped an ugly five-game losing streak Saturday night when they defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs in a shootout. It was a much-needed win for the Habs who have fallen into obscurity since goaltender Carey Price went down.
Montreal has struggled recently in terms of offense, but the Habs are still scoring 2.68 GPG for the season and are putting about 32 shots on goal per game. When it comes to defense, the team is 4th in SOG allowed and 4th in PK.

Montreal is just 3-6-1 in its last 10 games, but has a favorable mark against the Eastern Conference with a record of 20-9-3. The Canadiens have three players with at least 30 points, including Max Pacioretty, Tomas Plekanec, and P.K. Subban, whose 30 assists are tied for 5th in the NHL.
If the Canadiens want to stay in the playoff picture, they’re going to have to win the easier games on their schedule, which includes this one against the NHL’s worst team.
Columbus
It’s been a long and unfortunate season for the Columbus Blue Jackets, a team that caught fire late last season and nearly made the playoffs. Columbus has struggled at both sides of the ice this year, ranking 20th in GPG and 28th in shots per game on offense.
When it comes to defense, the Blue Jackets’s 3.2 GPG allowed are dead last in the league, as is their 12.7 penalty minutes per game.
Scotty Hartnell and Brandon Saad each have 32 points, but the offense as a whole has been hard to find in Columbus. Goaltending has been equally disappointing as Sergei Bobrovsky and Joonas Korpisalo have both been bad between the pipes.
Korpisalo is expected to get the start in this one. He has a record of 3-5-2, a GAA of 2.91 and a save percentage of .910.
