Nebraska used a giant second half to run away from Rutgers and will look to now upset the 6th seeded Wisconsin Badgers here on Thursday night.

The Cornhuskers looked sluggish in the first half against Rutgers, but found their niche in the 2nd half as they had their offense clicking on all cylinders.
Nebraska ran away with a 52 point half and capped off an 89-72 win over the Scarlet Knights.

The Cornhuskers held their own against Wisconsin back on 2/10, but ultimately they didn’t have enough firepower to keep up. Nebraska shot just 40.7% from the field and were held to just 61 points in the loss. The Cornhuskers did hold a rebounding edge by 8.
The Badgers had been in the mix of the top teams in the Big 10, but faded back thanks to their struggles in the beginning of the season.
Wisconsin was one of the hottest teams in the Big 10 down the stretch as they held winning streaks of 7 and 4 and won 11 of 13 overall.
If the Badgers hope to make a deep run at things in this tournament, the offensive numbers will have to pick up. The Badgers average just 69.2 points per game on the season.
